that time of year is coming agian when movie companys start sending out screeners for the oscars so soon we wont have to deal with these cams. ebert and roeper were even talking about last nite on there show. talking about how the oscars are comeing up and stuff

the sample is bright....at least in comparison with the cam from silver it is brighter....i think the audio is direct or maybe filtered cam audio....its a bit better than the cam release....less hollow....imo stick with the silvers release....

Seen the sample, watched couple of the rars, the video on this is a TAD bright, but other then that video looks nice, and audio is really clean.

Will update if need be after watchin complete release.

You know what would be really cool, seeing people actually rate things correctly, this site has turned into a real joke, people don't rate properly on the quality, and alot of the time, make bogus comments in these forums.

Honestly, i see no point in this release. They should have iNTERNALED it ATLEAST. (so what if its "direct" audio... the video is shit and not better than the silvers)

I mean its great that they are making the effort to pump out the content in which they have, but normally nbp has decent standards.

Man I posted my first ever comment here after seeing the sample on a site of mine...and sinc eI had seen the PreVail version already, I could tell right off that the sample looked almost identical.

BUT on the other hand..

Hmmmm maybe ya should look again the PreVail's version is a VCD, this is SVCD, which by my knowledge of SCENE RULES it's NOT a Dupe, nor a Proper. This release stands on it's own, and is by far better then anything released to date!!

Honestly People should STFD and STFU, put their brain in gear before they put their fingers to the keyboard. Besides this release being alittle on the bright side it's nice quality.

Morons posting in the votes that this quality of TS deserves a 1 for audio/video should have their privs removed, only reason they get away with it is because they don't vote 1 or 10 across the board, they are smart enough to vote something else for the movie itself!! This forum was orginally intended for people with a want and respect for the groups to let other users know thier thoughts on the release, but it's turned into a bunch of whining bitches complaining about EVERYTHING!!

If ya don't like what's being released, get up off your lazy CHILDISH ass and cam shit yourself, this is getting sicking to come to the forum only to read the BS most of you spew from your keyboards, I know there are a few people left on these boards who actually come in and know what's going on and have some proper critical comments about the releases, but for the most part lately it's seems a bunch of kids have come on and just like to run thier mouths about shit that is FREE, and optional for you to download.

You're right, it shouldn't be a DUPE cause the Prevail version was a VCD. All you had to say was this: "it ain't a dupe cause it's a SVCD." planetsmasher, you are saying this is better than anything released to date. are you slightly insane? the silvers cam was waaaay better than this copy. the colors on this copy are fucked to high heaven, this is obvious even from the jpeg (and yes i did see the sample) look at that guys face, its bright pink and white and she looks like an albino. its also kinda blurry.

if you actually watched the silvers copy (or the original dvdr of it like i did) you will see that is a million times better than this heap of trash.

Well, with all the mislabeling lately... can you blame people? Just about every other release is mislabeled. If groups want to play stupid games like that then they deserve to get bad mouthed.

Like I said in a different thread, I'll give props to a group that does a good job. But I'm not about to sit here and say "OMFG, thx for this awesome release. thanks for risking your tails camming!" on an unwatchable release. The scene has to have standards. And if we all give mad props to groups on crap releases then we just lowered the standard. And that's what's wrong with the scene right now- low standards.

Basically what I'm saying is this: if a group mislabels a release, does a horrid job camming, or whatever... I believe they deserve every ounce of criticism.

Anywho, I'll shuddup now. No one cares about my opinion either. :-)

I dont know why people have rated this release as low as they have the video all though bright in light parts of the movie is still far above average. My critical remarks are to the sound. For direct audio ( if it really is) is very poor. In some parts of the movie it sounds almost ambient, in all of the movie louder speech and sound effects sound muffled. Ive heard much better audio from fm sources. Yeah, it sure is late to see a ts of this movie especially because of the great silver that was released but on quality alone I would rate this movie at 7/5/8 (rating as ts, as should be done).A little of topic but still relevant;I was able to take this audio and mux it with the video of the silver release with very little a\v sync problems.I had to slide the audio around a bit but thats all.If you have the time and enjoy that type of thing ide recommend you give it a try. Unlike most of my other redubbing adventures where I had to work out huge gradual a\v synch issues I didnt have that problem with this.

why do people babble on about things other than the quality of the movie. i thought this was was ok to watch but as said the picture was very bright if i had got this in the reviews i would not have waisted the bandwidth good try though keep it up ;-)

i watched this rls last night. let me say first off this is the same exact video as the silver rls. you can tell when the guy is adjusting his screen for the whole first 3 minutes or more of the movie. colors are a bit off and too bright on lighter skinned people faces, etc. i filtered it a bit and it helped, but not a great deal

audio is good, weird at some points (sort of hollow)

didnt notice any sync issues

Well a great big THANK YOU to this loser group for re-releasing a higher bitrate and resolution (SVCD) encode of the same source as the VCD everyone already had, but somehow managing to make it look worse.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for wasting everyone's time and bandwidth, and for putting in the bare minimum effort to earn some kredz on some dumb topsite that obviously doesn't nuke for shit quality.
