as typical wastedtime screeners, great quality all around! video is awsome, audio is awsome, movie kinda sucks though. theres a small watermark on the bottom right corner, but nothin to worry about. colors are dead on, video is clear, audio is excellent, nice job wt!

keep em comin Wastedtime

Hi,

This is the usual Wastedtime screener release. Good colors, audio, etc. Some parts does have the usual pixelations that you get with vhs screeners.

Overall, a very nice release, as stated above watermark in the lower right corner. It won't bother you.

Sound is spot on no faults at all

Overall

a 9 is a bit high for VHS screener. Its a nice FS screener, and yeah it gets blocky at times, but who cares. The audio is fine and this is the ONLY watchable release of this dreadful film that i have seen. Very nice colors. Possibley a 1st generation VHS source tape. The watermark is slightly visible and there is an S in the bottom right hand corner throughout. Just glad i didnt waste my time going to the theatre to see this flick.

If u wanna see Jennifer Garner looking her best just. I suggest that u check out Alias every week.

At least the story is decent and the clothes compliment that shows story telling and sex appeal

Nice VHS screener.

Video - is in FS but im quite a fan of that, not all of us have WS television sets. Colors are bright and vibrant, not dull as with some VHS rips. Only minor pixellation, holds up well in this aspect ratio. Watermark in bottom right corner throughout the film, is indiscreet, and almost transparent.............no other watermarks or copyright notices that i could see from skimming the whole rls.

Audio - very nice and clear, no hissing.

Movie - watched the CAM of this and found it to be the second worst film of 2005 so far, after Alone in the Dark. Terrible storyline, plus the teenage girl is the most stuckup bitch ever, was really pissed off when she didnt get killed near the sequence grrrrr.

7/9/3

Posted by HaLiKuS on 02-28-2005 03:22 PM:

Video and audio are spot on and I beleive the S is from hotel PPV. FS sucks as not all of us have FS TV's
8/8/2 Movie blew me away at how truly horrible it was. Terrible.

Nice going mate!
why don't you just tell us all the complete story whilst your at it?

Better than average screener.
Good sound and unusually good colours for VHS.

Might be shite, but come on, it's Jennifer Garner!!!
I'd spend 2 hours watching her sitting in a bin bag playing with a rubik's cube!

Hmmm. I thought the coulours are a bit washed personally, and I thought the audio was good but a bit well, kinda hollow. Prolly just my eyes and ears being stoopid though. Quite a blurry picture aswell imo.

Screeners are to be compared against other screeners when it comes to scoring, not against dvd screeners, tc's etc so it's perfectly possible for someone to judge it a 9 or a 10.

Lovely looking fs screener, sound is excellent (Although I'd argue it's not as good as some of the dts releases we've had recently) too.

Shame about the film really.

Until now, there was only one other version and that TS has horrible video quality. I watched it and it had a hard time keeping my attention due to the poor video. Well, at least it kept me awake on the flight line, still it sucked. This release is clear and the sound is good.

Sound

I'm getting a fairly loud hissing sound on this release... i'm using media player classic like always. Even with powerdvd it's there. I tried playing dvd's other vcd's... no hissing...just this one.... having a hard time reading and believing that the sound is great.. maybe at low volumes but not at higher volumes.

Posted by concius on 03-01-2005 11:26 PM:

from sample

much beter than any other release. it is a vhs screener, and wasted time has once again lived up to expectation. nice work, keep up the good job.
audio 8.0
video 8.0
movie 5.0 (watched the previous version with subs)

Posted by nohead on 03-02-2005 02:45 AM:

The video is good
The audio is more than acceptable
The movie comes short...

Nice work

Posted by Darkness on 03-02-2005 04:42 PM:

Bleh..

V6 - blocky & grainy
A5 - Hissy ickness, But at least you can hear what they are saying.. though the hiss is a bit too much to ignore
M? - after flicking through the disks Ill wait for something better.

Movie was decent, but i guess i didnt get my hopes up to high when i heard what the name was going to be, pretty nice screener,

Posted by IRC_Moviefan on 03-07-2005 08:07 PM:

erm , guys .. of course this is going to be a little bit blocky & grainy as Darkness pointed out. Remember this is a VHS SCREENER ... not a DVD SCREENER.

Once again Wastedtime comes out with a very nice Screener. Wastedtime Screeners are much better then the 10000 gen Screeners by other groups (pV/VideoCD to name a few) which look like CAM's or Silvers.

This Screener was much better then the Silver TELESYNC crap that was released a few weeks prior , at least this was watchable.

Watermark didnt bother me and finally got through this movie. I feel sorry for anyone who paid to see this movie. Elektra was about as good as Catwoman was , which isnt saying much. My highlight of this movie was Jennifer Garner skipping in a tight top . At least, thanks to Wastedtime i got to watch this before retail came out, and i now know ... like Catwoman to avoid purchase or downloading the DVDR.

As a VHS Screener:
8/7/1

Any of you having trouble watching? Video stops at roughly 14 minutes where Garner is messing with what look like toothpaste in the bathroom...

Posted by DocVW on 03-09-2005 02:10 PM:

great release for this type of action film. There were fast scene pixels and motion blurs, but not bad. Picture was nice and bright ( unlike Daredevil filmed at night). Storyline was, well, typical Marvel stuff, give us all the history and the actual movie in one show with room for the sequel at the end.
v=8.5
a=9
m=8

Posted by ares58 on 03-10-2005 04:43 AM:

these guys definitely deserve kudos for getting ahold of such a nice screener -- one without any of the annoying scrolling messages and such.

they also decided to go the whole vcd route. the nice part about a vcd is that you can watch it on your tv. the bad part about a vcd is that the picture resolution is so damn low you would never want to watch it on your tv.

an xvid release would have provided twice the resolution and half the file size, and enabled these folks to show off the true beauty of their screener.

of course, putting out xvid releases makes telesync folks angry because with a vcd the picture is so damn small you can hardly tell the difference between a telesync and a screener.

Posted by Rizzo182 on 03-11-2005 01:31 AM:

I agree with Da Postman on video and audio .... movie for me was a letdown however.
