VCDQuality Dupecheck TCL

Thanks to "dreamss" on EFnet, we can now offer a dupecheck TCL to download, which scans our DB live in channel

usage :

!vcdquality string [options]
Options: -pub(msg to channel) -notice(notice) -msg(privmsg) -x#(limit resluts to #) -imdb -forum -sample

!vcdquality -help
will bring that up

heres an example of it working :

<dreamss> !vcdquality men in black II -pub -sample
<chkrabbit> 2 Results/2 Displayed:
<chkrabbit> 07-12-2002.Men.In.Black.II.SVCD.PROPER.TELESYNC-VCDHell 6.6/6.7/6.9 http://www.vcdquality.com/index.php...spath=1&id=3644

if you dont know what TCL is or run an eggdrop etc, then its best you ignore this until you do, but if you have any specific questions, if you leave them here i'm sure someone will help out

i found it uber useful... no tcl errors nothing

100% recommended apart from in big chans where people could abuse the -pub but thats easy to stop...

edit: o and i changed the script slightly so the output is nicer no offence

We need to have the person who wrote that script rewrite it to use the new backend code i made.. I just talked to him and he's going to work on it tonight supposedly.. so hopefully there will be a new version up shortly..

Its still not made, which is why its not working.

Is there an update available yet that i've missed?

bugs or u need features, msg me too, or if u need tcl help

set useur 0 ;#disables user restrictions were only ops can do -pub search and voice can only search

like Movie.VCD-MovieGroup instead of the regular Movie Title.

Having problems with this script, using the public commands and the bot doesnt seem to do much.

Doh, yeah i had everything setup correctly, even had the bot in your channel and it did echo stuff eventually. I was using the commands from the example in the first post of this topic ie: '!vcdquality men in black -pub -sample' Suppose i shoulda read thro the .tcl more. Oh well, works a treat now.

I have never seen the script, but HTTP is a protocol, whilst curl is an HTTP (etc.) client. How can one use curl *instead* of HTTP?
