Pv? Damn! Been a long time. Nice way to get yourselves recognize again. I've also been waiting to see this movie for a long time. Great way to finish off my Christmas break before i have to go back to school for finals...Anyways, nice release, don't know about the bitrate - haven't actually checked out the numbers myself. Picture & and audio are both equally good. Gotta love Screener season

9/9/?

Great Audio and picture? hardly..

from what i can tell from the SAMPLE - it looks dark, a bit blurry, and a slight bit of pixelation in some parts of the screen. maybe its just me? the sample seems to e an extremely dreary scene, there isnt many colors at all - but this scene appears to be a flashback, so maybe its MEANT to look like this?

7/7/x

from the sample:

Very Crisp Pic and Sound. My only complaint is the File Size seems undersized for a True SVCD. Havent burned it yet so i cant confirm it

8/9/?

Just finish watching an excellent film a tad undersized and pixelated for svcd and major gaps of black and white and property of logos throughout. The movie was excellent.

Full Movie:

8/9/8

Posted by TeachMe on 01-03-2005 03:38 AM:

Posted by Horton on 01-03-2005 06:11 AM:

ok, maybe something fucked and i saw the wrong sample? your all praising something i think didnt loook too good

the one i saw was of a kid playing marbles with another, then going to some warehouse and writing his name on the wall

correct?

Posted by Movie_Insider on 01-03-2005 06:33 AM:

Pic looked great and sound was very nice Seems to me Robin Williams has been making some off the wall stuff. But hell I still have a hang over will watch it again when the banging stops in my head.

Video:near perfect

If the whole release is as good as I've seen so far, I would have to say one of the best releases I've ever seen.

all looks good, good picture, good sound.

Yes there is...usual 'property of...' message and b&w scenes about 6 times through the movie.

sorry but i cant possibly understand how anyone call call this a perfect release.....
property of lion gate across the bottom and plenty b/w scenes make this an average dvd scr

F/Y/I ..............when we say its a perfect release, we mean as a perfect rip from a dvd screener.we all know that 99% of the time a dvd screener has b/w bits and scrolling message on them. so, we say its perfect as far as a dvd screener goes.most of us know what comes from a dvd screener so theres no point in high lighting it everytime we make a comment.

hard to say what this is..
if this is a good rip of a dvd screener whoever mastered the dvd should be fired.
is robin williams 7ft tall in real life? or is that just bad ar
I don't know .

7/9/-

A good movie with, but could have used a better ending. The quality is good on the movie and nice considering the short time this movie was out.

V-9.5
A-9.5
M-9.5

Posted by kurisu on 01-05-2005 12:35 PM:

never seen so much contradicting comments... i grabbed it but didn't burn yet - and i hate bad ar... so is it truely that bad?

Posted by rudeboy99 on 01-05-2005 09:53 PM:

doesn't look too bad on a widescreen tv.

9/9/?

this sucks . the AR is totally fucked up. For a DVDScr it should be perfect .. very bad. Not sure why it's getting high marks .. shoulda been nuked

1/10/7

Posted by bloke on 01-06-2005 02:21 AM:

8/10/7

Can anyone shed some light on these figures? Combined, discs 1 & 2 run for approx 60 mins but runtime on IMDB says 105.... now, is that some serious editing for DVD release, or has this scene release been fooked with? Or, is it really 01:20 and my mind is playing tricks on me?

Posted by sleeper0 on 01-08-2005 12:09 PM:

For sure this has a bad AR - I am surprised by all of the positive comments and no scene nuke - the AR jumps out at you as soon as the movie begins.

2/10/??

Posted by BudFern on 01-09-2005 04:50 AM:

I agree, the aspect is off. They must have picked to wrong ratio for the widescreen.

indeed this looks just terrible and should be nuked. i guess most ppl here are either blind or so used to bad ar thru that they don't even see the difference.
