Lipstick and the MILF

ok, it's all over the news (http://news.google.com/news?q=lipstick) and I was just wondering if the politicians in the US underestimate the public or if you really are as thick as pig shit... I know we have a few Republican's on here - you don't really think he was calling that MILF (I'd do it!) a pig do you? I have to ask cos I've been watching the news with a certain amount of incredulity and wondering if anybody was dumb enough to actually believe that a US politician (on either side) would call the opposition a "pig" during a speech?

Don't misunderstand, this isn't some partisan thread bullshit that I'm posting, I'd be making a very similar post had the parties been reversed. But even as a liberal UK bastard with pasty skin and green teeth, it's obvious what point Obama was trying to make.

Posted by The CandyMan on 09-11-2008 03:52 AM:

Obama quote of "lipstick on pig" has been said by him before in recent months so know doubt he was just repeating it in the context about McCain's promises on the economy, war, etc. Problem is the dumbass (or his political advisors) never took into account the recent joke that Palin told about the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull so of course some people (not myself) are taking it as a shot at her. I just don't think Obama is that ignorant to try to get away with something like this. It does show though that the Obama camp is worried, specifically about Palin, since they've been making faux pas like this one lately.

And hell the fuck yes I would hit. Palin has got to be one of the hottest female politicians I've seen in years if ever. Just think in 3 months we all could be saying "I'd love to fuck the shit out of the vice-president of the United States!" and not come across gay as fuck!

Sounds like the republican party is straying for something here huh? McCain has used the same quote himself before, So what's the difference? At least Obama didn't disparage a whole race by calling all Asians gooks.

Well, Like Mancandy said it was probably misconstrued, The media is taking it out of context, Yeah bad timing but get over it.

All I can say is maybe schools should start teaching sex ed beofre kids can read, Palin's 17 year old would have been better educated. I think the term "lipstick on a pig" applies here, LOL. I think it shows very badly on the parents when there children are having babies.

Posted by David Cameron on 09-11-2008 07:52 AM:

Personally i'd find it hard to believe that this was a mere coincidence.

The speech writers scrutinize every last word that is prepared for Obama. Anything that could possibly offend, be taken the wrong way, anything with a double meaning or possibly bigoted would be poured over and deliberated before being sanctioned.

You are telling me that not one person said "Hey, people are gonna think your talking about Sarah Palin". To which, i'm guessing there was a resounding answer of "We know, we don't care, because we actually are!"

I think it was pointed at her.

BUT....

I really don't care, i'd still smash her backdoors in, plus England won last night, i'm a happy chappy and am now gonna spend the morning thinking about a threesome with Sarah Palin and Anne Coulter, hubba hubbba.

The republicans went for the King of the Hill look this year (Cotton and Peggy Hill). She is bangable but her voice drives me nuts. That and her whole view on everything is batshit crazy. But bangable none the less.

Here is McCain doing the same thing (oh noes!)

Anyone think that he WASN'T referring to Hilary Clinton? The only difference I can see here is that, once again, the Republicans have been more accurate. You CAN put lipstick on a Hilary Clinton and she IS still a pig. Sarah Palin would feel the force bigtime, with or without liptstick.

Love dirty politics, with the correct speech writers it can get hilarious. I'd like to see McCain hire Seth Rogen and Ricky Gervais to write his next speech.

I think it is funnier when they screw up.

Like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DqR7zis99I it is either a goof or the most evil plan ever.

This doesn't say very much at all. She's NOT that hot.
Clinton thinks she's hot and he's a pig-fucker.

+ She spawned a retard when she should of had that goofy little fucker sucked out of her.

Posted by Neversoft on 09-13-2008 04:42 PM:

Tell you what, the more I hear about her the more this bint scares me... She makes Bush sound informed and intelligent. Remember people, when McCain snuffs-it (and he's not far off, lets be honest) this lunatic will be Pres *shudders*

On a side-note, if anybody knows a lookalike, there's money to be made:

Posted by David Cameron on 09-14-2008 04:05 AM:

A lookalike?

Look no further than 30 rock's Tina Fey.

Well don't forget Mancandy is fucking OLD himself, LOL.

Tina Fey is waaaaaaay hotter, There's just something about Tina Fey that's awesome, plus she's funny as hell. Just don't watch Baby Mama, Oh that movie sucked balls. I'm still ashamed of myself for watching it, lol.

I actually have to agree with that faggot that posted above me. That movie did suck, but you're still a gay bitch.

You're one of the more level headed Republicans, and the words you say still make me want to bash my head against the desk.

I'm going to just guess here that they'd probably be more inclined to write for the left than for mccain.... just going by their previous bodies of work, they don't seem like the conservative types.

I don't know mate, I wouldn't say Ricky Gervais was right wing but he is definitely very anti liberal. He could be a socialist for all I care, he's still a very funny man and Seth Rogen has got to be one funny mother fucker, Pineapple Express is amazingly hilarious.

So, don't really care what their politics are, I just wish they'd write some speeches for the most sensible party.

Actually I don't claim myself as a Republican more a conservative. Been looking at alternatives to vote for including Bob Barr. Mostly though, like most important choices in life, I have to go with the lesser of evils and at this point McCain/Palin seems to be that choice. What Obama wants to do to our country and economy is completely insane and the man has no clue as to how things work.

funny, here i was thinking the exact same thing about Palin... While she's not as nutty as Fred Phelps and crew, she's certainly sipping from the same punch bowl.

At last! A ray of rational light!

^5 and all that

The more that she opens her mouth, the closer I realize she is to the Fred Phelps crew.

From the UK media (which I admit is generally biased against the Republicans) you get the impression that the more she opens her mouth the less people like her... I think the initial "woah milf" reaction is slowly being diluted and replaced with a "Is this bint for real?" reaction instead

Most likely since if anything she has a pretty good appeal if you listen/watch what's really going on. Hell she has an 80% approval rate in Alaska last time I heard, the highest in the country for Governors.

Glad see that lately the biased media has been finally getting caught in the act (think Keith Olbermann for example) Fuckers know they're liberals/Democrats so why not admit it? Most dumbass people have no clue.

I'm biased against the Republicans myself... I'd fuck her but I wouldn't vote for her. I'm yet to hear her make a speech that doesn't have the words "Soccer Mom" in it somewhere.

Then again, she's more appealing than McCain - I saw him in one of the debates the other day and that cunt's a shambling wreck. He's going to die and then you'll all be lumbered with some bible-bashing, soccer-obsessed nut-job to dig you out of the financial shithole you're currently in.

If I was a dirty, stinking, obese, stupid, ugly Yank, I'd be fucking worried right about now

Posted by David Cameron on 10-10-2008 05:40 PM:

From an outside perspective I think the Republicans have made the worst choice for their nomination. McCain just looks weird. I like Obama, he is just too inexperienced for the top job. From a population of over 200 million people I am surprised they couldn't come up with 2 better candidates for the top job.

I kind of hope Obama wins, Republicans would be better for USA, but i'm not American so I don't care. I want to see close up shots of Rednecks crying at clan meetings, using their lynching ropes to hang themselves or trying in vain to pretend they are not bothered.

Plus, a black president will stop the gangbanging crack head blacks blaming a racist government for their own failures.

It will be interesting.

Kind of half serious. I liked American Republicans because they used to take a no nonsense approach with their foreign policy.... But. they have been dithering and dathering for the last 4 years with an Iraqi/Afghanistan problem that could have been put to bed a couple of years ago. They needed to care less about how the public debated tactics and just fucking strong arm the shit, it would have been a painful month or two, but like ripping a band aid off, once its done, its done and over.

I don't expect the Dem's to do much better but at the minute the Republicans are looking like cunts and not achieving anything. So, my train of thought is that it would be better to have a government that still achieves nothing but looks good while doing it.

You do understand that for most of the past 2 years the house and senate have been under democrat control? And unlike the republicans of 94' they didn't keep any of their promises when they got in office. Blame Bush for the idea of the war but Congress had to vote on it and most of the dems voted for it right along with them. Now 2 years after they promise to get us out, nothing has changed. Yet people will continue to believe their rhetoric and lies.
