edit:- thought i would also add, when the fuck are groups gonna learn, if your source aint up to scratch DON'T use SVCD. FFS.

and yes, i already know "if you don't like it. don't download it." so i don't. and neither does anyone else with at least half a brain.

picture is okay, a bit bright.. i can hear a slight hum in the beginning of the sample.. best release yet

What previous posters said, also bad aspect ratio. Wonder how many tries it will take imperial to get one right.

Sound is good ill give it a 7.5, picture is good it gets an 8, just cropped like they said..so it gets a 4.5

its watchable -- if you like looking at a 4 inch movie.. meh. I know some people will download anything, no matter how poor the quality. so this is for you.

Video- Clean enough for what it is (if they really used a cce 5), BUT CROPPED ON SIDES

Sound- slight buzz, you won't hear this unless you turn it way up.

Movie- Saw this in theaters the other night. Must see for any horror movie fan but if you want a masterpiece rent the original (the zombies didn't run in the 70s why should they run now!).

could this be more cropped? poor, im sick of waiting for this movie to have a good copy. im going to see it in the cinema on friday. maybe i should take my camera

Looks great to me. I don't know what you guys are talking about...must be an eye plague going around because this is the release i'm definently watching. How can this one be nuked and not FTF that had every sound in the theatre including the air conditioner buzzing? .... odd.

yikes! makes me glad i saw a free screener at the local movieplex it's a fun movie, but lots movement + a generally dark movie and is only worth watching with a good quality rip. this version reminds me of the first cam of Sleepy Hallow... not worth it at all.

Curious i downloaded Dawn of the Dead TVSPOT -TRAiLERPUNK (trailer) and compaired.

First of all , yes its cropped but not super super bad .... aspect ratio is out but can easily be fixed and picture was a bit bright ... from trailers looks like a "dark" movie. Sound was alright besides it being a little muffled , more then likley to block out the *minor* hissing for all the whiners.

Overall watching a few mins of the first cam a few days ago & watching this copy. This is a hell of alot better - its actually watchable. No its not the greatest TS. Listened to everyone complain for a watchable copy the last few days then one finally gets released and its not a TCR / Ctp copy so everyone loves to hate.

For all the people expecting a nice copy of this retail is in a few months - or go to the theater ... seems alot of TS grps suppliers latley are on vacation, untill then this release is watchable.

Overall as a TS:

Surely this should be slightly better than the CAM version we just got, didn't think the sample looked that bad, but agree about the bad cropping..

Video 7.5 (decent colouring, doesnt looked too cropped)
Audio 7.5 (a bit low but fine)
Movie ? (watching later)


I don't know why all the bad scores. It does look interlaced on pc screen but fine on TV, doesnt look that cropped. Will edit my comments after watching whole film, if any problems

definitely ok. no interlace lines and def no audio hiss. ignore the persons remark below if you are watching on a TV. can't vouch for it on a PC though, and i normally hate imperial !!

Ive just watched this release start to finish and would say if you want to see this movie this release is fine.

The sound has a slight hum in the background but you stop noticing it after a few minutes.

I just finished watching this movie and there wasnt much wrong with it. The so called "interlaced" lines were non noticable. The Picture was a bit bright (when they were holding up signs to communicate it was hard to read them). I didnt notice the humming noise. This release was perfectly watchable. 100 times better then the previous CAM.

This TS wasnt blurry like logistic's movies , wasnt a Misslabled CAM like HafVCD & FTF's & DyNAMO & VERiTY & LiMiT TS's. Besides bright and a bit cropped this was a perfectly watchable movie.

For all you waiting for Centropy , VideoCD , TCR to release it - keep on waiting

Movie sucked btw i thought - classic was much better.

Nice release if watched on a tv My marks are not based through watching it on a computer, how it shouldnt be watcheds!


Audio: 7 (No fuzzing on tv) Nothing wrong with it
Video: 7 (Noticed bad interlacing about 2times on tv) again nothing wrong with it
Film: 10


I wasnt going to watch this release but i'd already downloaded and when i woke up it was a nuke, couldnt wait to watch the film,i rarely ever watch telesyncs but this wasnt that bad quality wise. I did test on my pc and it was terrible.

Just finished watching, this release is much better than the cam and is definetly a decent watchable copy on a standalone player, a tad dark in some scenes and the colors are a bit dull. The audio is decent didn't notice a hiss, as far as cropping it has a bit of a crop but nothing as bad as some here would lead you to believe, I can remember centropy's release of Tears of the Sun, Willard and a few others from this same time last year were far more cropped.
This is well worth grabbing to watch until a screener of rip come out.

Some of these guys are just plain spoiled with some of the stuff that's been released as of late, and should just be thankfull that a release as watchable as this even exists.

Nice release Imperial, hope to see more, I for one will always be grateful a copy as watchable as this is around.

The cam was horrible, the sound was just bad, and it killed the suspence. (watched first 15mins... horrible laughter). This one seems much better, but kinda small, but for an MPEG i've seen much worse.

I just got through watching the sample and it really isn't all that cropped... The video was good and so was the sound.. I will post after I watch this release..

Finally popped this one in the stand-alone and I didn'ty see why all the complaints. Definetly a watchable release.
Video was a tad bright and that really only mattered with the signs(what firefighter said) other than that it wasn't bad.
Sound was solid too. Gunshots hit prettty nice.

Weird crop and aspect ratio. It was cropped to be full screen but squished down to be widecreen. I made it fullscreen with TMPGenc. It's missing the ending but I have the ending from the FTF version. Regardless, the movie rocked.

pretty good film quality is ok sound is perfect worth watching anyway

its better than ftf's but i like logistics better, expect for no ending

if you just play with the AR, its really quite watchable. the contrast is a bit off in places, its chunky, and a bit over cropped, but other than that fine. the sound is average, a slight hum in the background, but if you screw with yer equalizer, it gets the job done. the movie itself was better than I expected, and though some bits dont make sense, its quite satisfying.

way the best out of all the groups this and logistics are very close but id go with this one slighty although both this and logistic are missing the ending they both cut off at the start of the credits and thats were the real ending begins
