Obviously none of you have this to begin with, I've had it for 2 days and deleted it 2 days ago. First off, this is not a f..king telesync, this is nothing more than the damn workprint converted to svcd. And in the process of converting to svcd they overcropped the picture and now it looks super widescreen.

This is the workprint and should be nuked* for being mislabeled and a dupe*

Can't rate as a telesync because it isn't one. Its the workprint . Same timecode out the windows, no intro and so on.

0/0/8 movie was good.

loved the movie.

this movie was amazing. i am not talking about "Soul Plane *PROPER* *SVCD* - TELESYNC - FSN" i watched the work print which looked amazingly clean. This movie made me laugh my arse off

This is the SAME RELEASE basically as VideoCD's... Like Neo mentioned.. SAME TIMECODES... and in the begining... SAME SKIP when he comes out of the court and is walking... The colors do look maybe a little better, but same areas are pixelated and all...

But this was one hell of a funny a$$ movie....

crap crap crap.. althoe the WP from Video Cd was VERY GOOD it was pixeld a lil for my taste, but i just converted to svcd and it took care of it.. as for this release im not even in a group and i could of submited my copy and gotten a better rating

as others have said, i agree completely with this release being a complete joke.

i, too, watched the full WP release from VideoCD and yes it was a tad bit pixelated but hey - definitely one of the best WP's ever especially when you consider the amount of pre-time involved.

as to the person who said this is the WP release but converted, cropped, etc. i wanted to comment that i, too, had HIGH suspicion of that being true since having a TS of a one-month+ pre just doesn't seem likely at all. matter of fact seems ridiculous. i didn't even waste my time downloading the sample but you're probably right.

anyway just my 2 cents. grab the WP if you want to watch the movie. it's not that bad but i wouldn't pay to see it - that's for sure. i'd give it a 6.5/10.

Erm, you can't make it any less pixelated by converting to svcd. The source is where the pixelation comes from. You're just adding more compression.

Oh and I'm not commenting on this release as it's daft. I can see the point in a decent ts though as some scenes were incomplete (effects etc) in the workprint.

Vegas Guy, you took the words right out of my mouth. Skip this rls people.. the VideoCD Workprint is amazing, near DVDquality and missing only intro credits and two outside shots incomplete.. All that is needed till retail. Sorry FSN, but 3 screw ups on one rls, not looking good.. You still have a lot to learn, sorry props for trying but you screwed this movie up royaly...

How come VideoCD's "workprint" for this movie is not listed on this site? But it's on IRC... Usually vcdquality.com keeps list months long.

Because the forum mods choose what is, and isn't posted on their site. Some groups also request their .nfo's to not be listed and this is respected by the Admins.

gonna have to dissagree, i have had many VCD'S then converted them to SVCD and it took ALOT of pixelation out.. I swear try it sum time,

After I compare them there is a big difference and I know i'm not crazy

This isn't the place to discuss it but you're not increasing the quality of the source any at all by re-encoding. You're lowering it.
