damn i understand the nuke for the amount of disks but damn those are some harsh words towards TUN in the nfo

Posted by Miller on 08-27-2004 10:49 PM:

well another new group. and they really don't like TuN. i diden't watch much of it maybe 2 min of it on my lunch break. anyway video is alot nicer the tuns and sound is good to little more sharp.
i think thats enough rls of this movie till dvdr

Well said Miller, and the .nfo reasons for proper are obvious and fair.
8/9/8 (The Fresh Prince suprised me on this one)

wtf is this about "original pirated DVD" ?
lol

as far as i concern then its a reencode of a DVD TC

so why are they bitchin about a reencode of TUN?

Posted by Bazacko on 08-28-2004 12:33 AM:

7/8/x

I too am happy with the TS, but this is a pretty good TC.

their is more color and its not as dark, from what i seen, also the sound seems a bit more clear and crisp but not that much of a diffrence in sound

Another Waste of Time, Space, and Bandwidth. Compair TUN vs this Copy. Sure TUN was 3 CD's but this looks like shit. im not a huge fan of TUN but ill take TUN's copy over this anyday.

Avoid:

5/5/1 - Silly movie with too much advertising.

shut the fuck up please, idiot.

hmmm after comparing the samples i believe this is a better release, but really why the fuck should we care, the dvd scr or something of that nature should be out shortly...

8.5/9/7

edit::: after reading the nfo, - TUN use only Telecine "sources" from sharereactor.ru (xvid .ru crap> i believe that to be true... for instance the lrc divx of napolean dynamite, u can even prove its reincoded, download both compare them... ive decided tun is a fucking joke, and like shina and ums and all the other lame groups deserves nukage.... thats just my two sense... feel free to flame

nice release, but a little late... good movie too... at least i thought so. lol

7/8/9

Posted by BLUE-NEO on 08-28-2004 03:06 AM:

waste of time..if you have the telesync or the tun re-encoded tc ( like I give a f..k it was good enough) there is no need for this until a dvdrip-dvdr.

7/8/8 not enough difference to download full release.

This is a good release, but like others have said, if you already have TuN's release, you might as well stick with that. However, METEOR has released a DVDR version of the movie with great video quality and AC3 sound, if you haven't noticed quite yet.

Posted by Enzomatrx on 08-28-2004 04:16 AM:

i agree with the above post. I really don't care if TUN's was some "russian reencoded blah blah durpa durpa". It was fine this really is just a waste of bandwidth if you already have TUN's.

Also, if this SKF group has the "true" sources then, will they step up and proper METEOR's DVD-R of I, Robot? If that, too, was also a reencoded xvid, as they seem to claim.

Still have to rate though on the release... despite it not being needed

If it is truly their source and not some clean-up of TUN's (who knows nowadays?):

8.5/9/9

Waste of bandwidth if you have TUN's/METEOR DVD-R/etc... but if it's there and you still have the Centropy TS... your choice.

Posted by Asterisk on 08-28-2004 04:31 AM:

Nice flaming in the nfo SKF, but encoding Meteor's TC to SVCD and releasing it like its your own? LMAO, thats just as bad.

This 'PROPER' is not needed unless you really want the TC on 2 SVCD's and not 3.

8/9/8. Nice quality, but so was the DVDR

Posted by commiewhore on 08-28-2004 04:39 AM:

hmm

was this movie worth it? worth all the drama?

dope flame in nfo, cause TUN is crap for what they do as of late...

whether this came from Meteor , i doubt it. prolly came from the same flea market that they got it from, thats true.

if anyone watches how things rls, one would assume TUN, Meteor and MoF all work together since they rls same thing and bout same times in order.

anyhow. shit is lame to flame, this wasnt even needed, the CTP rls was more than enough for this terrible terrible sci fi movie, if you didnt figure out it was the girl robot the first 30 mins in, i feel sorry for you.

video = 7 ....you people are just as bad as TUN, sidebars are easy
to clip if you know how to encode.

audio = 7 ...still not dts decoded, CTP TS was but this is just direct
sound...yawn.

movie = 4 ...its ok, nothing great in no way.

good for a new grp, specially being able to tackle another grp like that....nice rls, cause of the cd sizes, hope to see more earlier.

Posted by ToolTime on 08-28-2004 04:44 AM:

groups bashing groups whats new anyways tihs wasn't needed tun did a good job

less top and bottom cropping, but fuck it. not worth the bw wasteage. lookd the same as tuns and thats all im saying

7/9/9

Posted by ou812 on 08-28-2004 06:19 AM:

Pic is still stretched a little, same with the other TC releases. I'll stick with the TS. Just say no to Bad AR.

Posted by yyiryyib on 08-28-2004 10:45 AM:

i have metor's dvdr cos i couldnt be arsed with changing cd's for the tun release. it looks about the same, and theres no need for all the group bashing that goes on, i think people should just leave tun alone or do better themselfs, this is about the same.

7/8/8

Posted by Ptr^ on 08-28-2004 11:54 AM:

I'd say this is an invalid proper. The only mistake TUN did, was making it 3 cd's. This XViD .ru p2p crap, well about that i couldn't care less, becasue the TUN video quality beats this crap anyday.

Thats a bit of a prick thing to do, not everyone has saw this yet.

Posted by bcool2k on 08-28-2004 03:47 PM:

A nice rls, but I actually prefer the 5.1 treatment and aspect ratio of the new group METEOR DVDR rls...Very Clean pic a tad washed out and much cleaner audio..This PROPER would have been great if I hadn't already watched the CTP and METEOR rls's...Enjoy!!

Looks worse than the TUN release and has the exact same aspect ratio error AND the bars on the left and right. Okay release but should be nuked just for trying to call it a proper.

Video:7
Audio: 8
Movie: good enough I guess.

first posting on vcdquality.com

awesome site btw

anyways, yeah this release wasnt needed but as it was mentioned earlier at least there is groups willing to put forth the effort to put releases out for us, so i guess its ok in the long run

as for me i have the centropy release, and it was great, watched the movie and i liked it, i didnt LOVE it but it was a good summer movie.

i give it 7/8/8

Now i am just waiting for a dvd rip or screener and lock it away in my vault of releases lately lol

Posted by dos000 on 08-29-2004 05:27 PM:

This is uneeded really, i mean the the screener will probably be here soon. Stick with te TUN release.

7/7/9

I hope there isnt a screener as we have enough versions of this film already, We'll be going backwards, Quality wise if someone releases a VHS FS screener on a VCD, especially with the SVCD and DVDR version floating about.

I think these are the best version about till DVD Retail, unless someone has a DVD Screener that is free of the usual counter/Watermark shit.

*sample judge*
good effort, picture looks a little pinched.
late as hell, but appreciated.
for tc: 6.5/8/8

Talking

First off, Hi to everyone on the board, this is my first post.

secondly...Just near the end of getting this release now, ill edit my post shortly when i playback this on my standalone DVD player. To anyone who doesnt have any copy of the film yet i feel this might be the best SVCD copy to get, but we'll see.

EDIT:

Ok, well after watching this lastnite on the standalone, i'll comment on the quality...

Sound was fine, no problems whatsoever.

Picture was a little steched, nothng major and becomes almost unnoticable.

The colours seemed a little washed out but again, great picture Q for a telecine.

This rls includes all of the credits.

There a slight colour flicker i noticed once during the elevator scene.

overall good rls. 8/8/7

I like this movie, just a treat for the eye nothng more!

Posted by Nil Einne on 09-07-2004 07:31 PM:

Don't think it should be nuked

This release is not useless. Ignoring the groups wars for a minute I don't think there is anything wrong with this release. Yes the quality is about the same as the TUN release but the fact is, this is a 2 cd release unlike the 2.5 cd TUN release. Whatever your opinions of TUN and SKF, if you don't have a decent I Robot, clearly the SKF is the best SVCD choice at the moment......
