Becaus in the last weeks, Ive seen ALOT of new groups releasing f*cking silvers! Like 4 releases of 4 different group from the same source... that is shit, real shit....

missing the old groups... TMMVCD & CT_P... but, its nothing u can do anything about. Just trying to be happy with those releases coming... But please, stop with all those silver reencodes!

this is another re encode by obus , it's the unsubbed , just croped and fixed up a bit , yeah the releases latly have been all re codes of other peoples shit ,go get your own shit people

Well go look through the last few weeks of releases and how many UTI or OBUS or any other release group that records their own shit have done..We would have to throw up the big goose egg on that one...Not a ONE...So if it wasnt for the silvers, pre-vhs, PDVDs you would not be downloading or watching anything. Why risk going to jail filming your own stuff (unless you have theater contacts) then picking up a pre-vhs or silver with decent quality. I do recall UTi last release was a cam anyways, kinda of a waste with out direct sound. The groups do what they have to do to bring the scene the movies whatever way possible..Show bit of repsect, why don't you get your ass out there and film some then instead of bitching.

If they ARE going to release, they should release their own stuff. Its pure shit letting others into the theatres and then release it saying that we made this.....

TMMVCD didnt had to buy any cheap silvers... neither did CT_P... just all this n00b groups like VideoCD, VCDistro and so on...

For your information, they didnt cam this themselves...Also to the fucking retard that said this is PMT's cropped..ROFLMAO...umm pmt has black spots all over it covering the pic so its definetly not. UTi has ONLY CAMMED 1 thing by themselves..it was Stuart Little 2...so stfu....mostly every1 doesnt do there own.....most vcd's are from silvers. pEACE BITCHES

More like 2 or 3 out of the 14/15 Official UTi releases. Which is about 2/3 out of about 10 TS/CAM releases. That's pretty good odds IMO. In anycase, what seperates groups like OBUS and UTi (and a few others) from most of the groups is they only release good quality releases unless the chances of a desent release from another group is next to none. And UTi lables properly

I disagree, groups should NOT get props or whateva for re encodes, i can do better re encodes than those lame groups trying to pull that crap out. If they had enough experience and skill to make it worth the while, then they wouldn't release re encode anyway. It's the new groups way of getting into the scene and getting known, it's not a good way, but its affective.

People complain reencode all the time..Seems to be the cool things to do on these message boards. Most of the releases are silvers or pre-vhs of the movie and since they are widely available it is possible for groups to pick up the same copy so therefore it is not a reencode. It is sometimes difficult to determine which source is which. I seriously doubt any group downloads another groups releases and runs it through some editing and re-releases it. They either have the same similiar source or even the same source, no one is stealing anyones shit. Unless you can prove its a reencode just keep your mouth shut...

Who that posts to this thread is actually part of "the scene" and who are actually just consumer whores bitching about the fact that there are too many releases.. or the quality isn't perfect.. if you have a fucking problem with the quality then shell out and go see it at the movies.. or even better.. Don't download the release.. the groups out there who are the scene are working hard at keeping it alive.. only to be gunned down at every corner by a group of consumer leeching whores with too much time on thier hands and the ego of a coked up philosophy student. I say well done to all the groups out there who are putting themselves on the line to get free movies out to us. If you can do a better job then do it..

The sound on this rls is pure shite....plain and simple...would it have been that hard to run it thru cool edit or similar and clean it up?...hell, even i could do it!!....Obus fukked up undisputed with outta synch audio and now this with all the background buzzing!..makes me wonder if they even bother viewing what they release.

agreed. there was a balance once between silvers and caps but now it's all gone to fuck. aside from an occasional UTi DV cam and the TCF tc's we're seeing an abuse of the silver market. It's getting ridiculous really.

btw if you don't have the facts on groups encoding methods, then you needn't comment on them. saying "if you think UTi has a capper then you're a retard" when you really have no idea is a waste of forum space, and only makes you look bad

Not bad quality here. Definitely watchable. Sound is not great, but I found that I missed no words because of too match static, pops or audio glitches of any kind. Picture seemed kind of dark and quite pixelated, but for a very simple movie it was fine 'cause there was nothing real special going on and everything could still be seen.

Anywho, thanks for the release OBUS. I'd give it a 7/7/5.
