WOW!!! Fast SCR Release!

Now that was quick. Pulled down sample and looks excellent. After the crappy CAM and TS of this movie I thought it would be months before we saw a quality rls of this movie, and I thought it was gonna be a TCF rls.

Great job VideoCD!!!

this is a review from the sample..

big letters in the screen and some of em edited away..

the picture is to grey..

well it has the same annoying counter as xxx by this group..

i dont know if they did el diablo aswell..

but this has all the same features..

blakc = grey

not first gen tape..

it looks more like a workprint to me..

i didnt get it.. cause the picture was not a first gen vhs tape.. suonds very ok.. i'd say an 8

picture is bit blurry .. i'd say a 6 maybe 7

nice screener/workprint... maybe workprint would be better.. cuase to me it looks like that..

i know i know im juding from pics im gonna get this one im gonna crop all that annoying stuff and then just wait for the actual scr from tcf or if a better copy comes out

pic 7.5/sound 8.5/movie 5...Prob not one of his best but it was ok..As for the movie...This isnt a workprint, its from a a telecine source, but most likely on a scr tape..its ok but not the greatest but a very nice rls considering movie just hit theatres like 3 days ago.

Video: 8 - Looks good, little blurry, little faded, otherwies good. S-92 with blurred serial next to it, counter in middle bottom, heh, the counter seems to bounce up and down a little bit also. All in all good video.

Audio: 8 - uhm, sounds good

Movie: NA

Release: All around good release, especially since it just opened in theaters. Good job.

I tell ya it's pretty dam refreashing to see some actual review of a movie in this place...now that we had a true real life experiance of a movie review.. i think ill grab this in my travels....happy birthday vcd Q, you all must of aged a another day and realized this is a movie quality review board not..fÿrking united nations meeting...i salute you all

Doesn't have the normal vhs screenere "lines" at the bottom which does suggest it is from a dvd source.

Well I think the watermarks and the timer kinda give it away that it's not a dvd source. Not to mention the video quality. A dvd source would have a way better resolution which would warrant a SVCD release.

Doesn't have the normal vhs screenere "lines" at the bottom which does suggest it is from a dvd source.

That's because this isn't a screener, it's definitely a VHS source which could be a TC, but it's not a screener. Not to mention the VHS shitlines are easily cropped out.

Its a VHS screener put on DVD I heard, I dont mind labling as long as its good qual, anyhow this looks aight for a screener alright.

Couple of points

1) A dvd retail with counters? oh pls...

2) Quality is NOT DVD source for those that need to grow eyes. Good VHS though.

3) Suspect it is a workprint or a telecine because the earlier VideoCD "SCREENERS" with timers were workprints. It is probably from the same supplier(Vin Diesel)

4)And lastly, a VHS SCREENER put on DVD will not improve the quality of the movie.

VIDEO: i thought video was perfect for a scr was pleased by it counter i didnt notice much but it kept track of how much time was left for me

AUDIO: audio was clear and all but its fuckin Mono who want to watch a movie in mono at least send 2 streams of the same audio to make it sound alittle clearer (i think that works) and sound better thougha dolby reciver

MOVIE: great movie didnt like ending

DVD SCR with a counter? not gonna happen

video 7 { one u get past the counter and the S-92 mark the movie isn't to bad. it gets a little blotchy and CD2 seemed a little darker than CD1 (maybe just the scene)

Audio 5 { wasn't that great, i had to crank the treble and there was a couple of pops on CD1

overall: Eh, not a bad wiseguy flick. beats wanking it on a Thursday night. it's got nothin on Goodfellas

Best Rip so far....

This is the Best rip of knock around guys so far.... If it wasnt for the the Numbers in white on the movie rip id have no probs with it... but other than that is real good ... i give it a 8/7.5/????
