Good release..Has a nice pic, lil grainy but cant complain 7.5, sound lil buzz nothing to complain about 8, and movie, well as darkslide said the other rls' sucked and ive been waiting for a good one so hopefully its good. In my opinion this is tcf's best ts yet, i think its better then 8mile cuz 8miles sound had a bigger buzz then this. 7.5/8/x

Edit: After watching the movie, i enjoyed it and the quality was good no flickering at all, except a minor flicker with like 10 seconds left in the movie but nothing at all. Hope to see constant rls' like this. Movie was good though so my rating for it was a 7

Final Rating 8/8/7

Why do you people complain about SVCD? You give the video a 4 just out of spite? and why a 5 on the audio? cause of a little buzz? You make no sense...and neither does this "please dont make the same mistake centropy is doing tcf
even though this is a nice release " isnt that what groups are suppose to accomplish? nice releases?

Nice work TCF..Rappa summed it up nicely so i will just give my rating 7/7/? I really wanna see this

i easily give this a 7/8/?

the video is awesome, the audio is great...

Posted by Cory on 03-16-2003 06:09 AM:

I only got about 50% of the sample but from what I got...

The sound seemed almost perfect...couldn't really notice anything wrong with it.

The video was also good, I could notice the little flickerings in the sample though... (don't know about the entire release, just the sample, or maybe I'm just too picky)

I prefer VCD over SVCD but I still like the SVCD releases...

7/8/?

Good release , sound is good pic alittle blurry but its a ts

7/7/7

Nice release thank u I've been waiting and thought no one was going to release it. It looks like a CTP release but better. It's nice 7.5/8/? THANK YOU!

::We honor groups requests and TCF requested that we don't post their JPG or NFO, BUT they have NOW requested that we do post their jpg/nfo and BTW editing ur post after its edited by a mod is a ban.

Posted by backoff on 03-16-2003 06:59 AM:

I hope you guys go in the direction of CTP. Get the quality of this one on all your releases and we will have the 2 best groups of all time. Lookin great.
8/8/?

btw, decent pic, sound is nice, haven't seen movie

Posted by Smurf Boy on 03-16-2003 07:30 AM:

Video is slightly grainy and other than the soft buzz (which disappeared almost completely with the treble and bass turned down) it's a very nice release. Props to TCF for respecting the work of others, even if their releases weren't as good. The movie is pretty funny imo, I actually saw it in theaters. :P 7/8/7

Posted by Rep- on 03-16-2003 08:11 AM:

the only important part of the site is just posting the release. its easy enough to get the nfo and sample. Its just nice to be able to go to a site to see new releases.

Posted by hoozdapimp on 03-16-2003 09:11 AM:

i usually download shit off of usenet, so getting the samples and nfo's aren't as easy as people getting it from their sites or whatever...i was just wondering why, and rappa explained it...

i just wonder why tcf asked not to post their stuff all of a sudden

Posted by B16A2 on 03-16-2003 10:20 AM:

Apparently most of you guys haven't checked out the sample and nfo (label judges?). If you guys noticed in the nfo it said they are releasing Bringing.Down.The.House.INTERNAL.TS.VCD.VERSiON-TCF for those that frown upon svcd telesyncs. CTP has some serious competition on their hands, I just finished watching the release and it was near perfect. The colors were vibrant (no blue tints ) and the image was sharp with proper aspect ratio, it is a tad grainy but nowhere near as bad as CTP's latest releases (daredevil and how to lose a guy in 10 days was horrible in comparison, sorry those were the last 2 CTP TS's I've watched so I can't compare it to Tears or Cody Banks) and also the sound had an extremely low buzz which I almost didn't hear at all if they didn't mention it in there nfo. Great fuckin job TCF, 8/9/?... Read the nfo people, even if it isn't on this site you should be able to find it easily.

Damn Rappa, Thats what a "comments" post should be... keep up the good work man

In my opinion, It's not quite a CTP release, but its still really really nice, and as Rappa said, the buzz isn't nearly as bad as on thier prior releases...Movie itself is pretty damned funny, I've always been a big Steve Martin fan... 6/7/7

Thnxs for the release, the video a grainy but the sound is aight... best release yet so props..

7/7/8

DAMN! By far the best release of this funny movie! Saw this in the theatre and laughed my ass off, Eugene Levy is just hilarious! Centropy's got some competition...ok, so TCF may not release telesyncs each week but it's a real special occassion when they do. I loved the Old School release and I love this! Picture is just as good as Centropy's, but the sound, it isn't as good. 7/6/8

PAL Camcorder, PAL Source so PAL Format? I'm assuming that's the reason, I don't think they'd rip a 25fps source as NTSC. But who knows, I could be wrong. Btw, there is a 1 second glitch on CD2 but it's no big deal, the movie runs fine after it.

Posted by AgGz on 03-18-2003 08:35 PM:

This Release Rocks!!

imo i like svcd for ts if its a good soucre and this is by far a good source but when i watched it on my stand alone comparing it to tcfs other vcd telesync it doesnt have that much a of a quality difference just becuz their soucre is so good, the only differnce i see is that the picture is less pixilated which is very nice

anyway this is a good rls and i don't care the formatt if the pic is good ill download and watch i dont really care about the 25 cents for cd-rs

thanks tcf keep em comin

Posted by Davy on 03-19-2003 11:17 AM:

The video is a bit too grainy for my liking, but because its PAL and not NTSC i'm gonna burn it so i watch in my room instead of on main TV.
audio is pretty decent, from what i seen on CD1 it looks like an ok Movie, but not seen it all yet.

7/8/?

Posted by Z-Gouki on 03-21-2003 10:05 AM:

Not bad, TCF.

Video is a little fuzzy and the audio has that little buzz, but overall a nice job.

7/7/6

CD 2 needs a repack?

Maybe its just me.. but I got 20 minutes into CD 2 and it stopped. I didn't burn it, watched with TV out using Power DVD and WinDVD. Anyone else run into this problem? I am going to download it again froma different site, but I used win rar to extract the files twice and the same thing happened both times. Maybe I'm trippin We'll see.

Posted by friendly101 on 03-22-2003 07:18 PM:

Just tried to watch cd2 and it does need a repack, other then the glitches in the movie its a fine release.

Posted by JayTray on 03-29-2003 05:42 AM:

Wink Did People even watch this or what?

I thinks its funny how out of 30 posts only 2 of us noticed the region of glitches on CD 2. The point where the two are on the couch and he's tellin her he's got big balls or what not, upto where her boyfriend comes by to visit, have a few errors. WinDVD stopped playing all together, but Power DVD just skipped past a few minutes. I could only imagine what a stand alone DVD player would do if I were to try and pop CD 2 in there. Prolly would stop playin the movie like WinDVD did. Other than the glitches, the quality wasn't bad for a Telesync. I think SVCD looks much better than VCD, less blocky. Too bad they couldn't release a repack for CD2 or come out with a screen for this movie, I thought it was pretty fun, aside from the 5 mins or so I missed in CD 2. Good job TCF, but you should correct the problem.

Apex players skip right through it with a second of glitch, pioneer players pause on the glitch and resume when you hit play again. I've only tested those two players and I've also used powerdvd to watch the film before burning. I don't know how other players would handle it but mine worked fine.

Thanks for the info but I am not going through the trouble of having to buy another DVD player to watch a TS..they should've repacked it..end of story

tsk tsk TCF
