Finally a nice sound and pic.Sample looks good,and i can actually hear what they are saying so thats a good one,Judging on the sample pic ok at 7 and sound 6.5.
Gonna get the rest now.

Finally a rls that I WANT to d/l, heh! Been waiting for a halfway decent rls of this movie. Now I can finally sit back and check it out.

Why does it go widescreen and have a fucked up AR when you fullscreen the sample? Is the movie like this or is it just the sample?

To Old Wtf r u smoking. Yeah its a lil old but its a great god damn movie. I say it's about damn time and it was worth the wait. To long it may be that long but atleast now I can enjoy it in my own living room at decent quality. You guys rule keep up the good work!

Wondering who does the ratings here?

Yes this is better than the earlier release but in no way justifies the high rating for either video or sound.

Many of us rely on the ratings to decide what is worth a download so please try to be more objective.

My suspicion here is it's a reaction to the earlier realy dreadful versions rather than a true evaluation.

Even if the rating is based on degree of improvement compared to the new "Spirit" this version is at best a 5 (IMHO) and Spirit should have received the 8

sup fellas, although this is my 1st post i been checkin out this boards 4 a few weeks now. what i wanna say is i can't believe some of tha things i read on these forums. i mean all i see is ALOT of negative comments about tha groups that work there asses off 2 get us these pre-release movies. i see peeps complain bout how tha picture is a lil to dark how tha sound has a lil to much bass. yada yada yada. do u guys want some cheese with that whine? of course most of time tha picture isn't gonna be tha best, but u gotta think 4 a min this is a pre-release movie. i for one am just happy 2 be gettin these movies be4 they hit tha theatre. i just recently started usuing news groups, be4 that i would get movies off of kazaa. anyone who has gotten movies from a p2p program knows it's not tha best quality, but it's still watchable. even then like i said i was happy 2 just be gettin them early. now that i use news groups these movies are 1000 times betta imo.

i really do agree with peeps on here that say some other guys on here have become spoiled. like they say on here if U AIN'T MAIKIN MOVIES AND PUTTIN THEM ON HERE THEN STOP COMPLAIN SO DAMN MUCH!!!! don't u guys see becuzz of all your complaining u guys have made one of tha best if not tha best group go internal.(no need to name tha group i'm sure everyone knows who i mean) anyways fellas this isn't directed towards anyone personally this is just a general statement. i had 2 get that off my chest cuzz like i said i'm really appreciative 2 all these groups that bust there asses 2 get these movies to us early.

come on !! wake up and smell yourselves - u all stink !! what a crap quality flick... its is hardly any better than the others that have been puked out - the sound is still crap and so is the frizzy -pic too how the hell anyone could put there name to this is beyond me-to to others reading this - wait until there is a proper release the film is nothing like the pics of it u see at all .
This is a way low qual movie and only deserves a 5.1 at the very best

Well just sampled the first couple minutes. It's a bit shaky at first, but then it settles down. Getting CD2 now.

Although, I saw this movie in theatre..I want to watch it again, as it's a great movie. Perhaps I should have waited for screener and not paid somebody $20 to give me access to a 50k/s FTP since I'm not smart enough to get things hours after release.

to be honest its a little bit better than the orig cam but the sound is grim and the pic is a 5 out of 10 tops

I got this movie b4 this thread had even started...left it unextracted...fucked around, waited and read these posts...thought it was some hot shit...burned this shit to cd-r instead of cd-rw...put it in the dvd player to see pure ass...well not pure ass...its watchable...but damn...y'all had this shit hyped up more than the lennox lewis - mike tyson fight....stop getting all fucking hyper with the voting just off a jpeg...hell i thought the jpg looked good too...but i didnt vote this shit a 10 off it...

Well, if it's the same source as the other two releases then the sound on disc 2 should be better than disc 1. And that sample comes from the second disc. So please only comment if you've seen the whole thing, not just the sample.

Well, anyone who's seen this rls can comment on it. That's what this place is for.

Let me start off by saying, I have only been in the "scene" for about a year now. I know I'm still new, but I watch and I read and I learn as much as I can, when I can. That being said, here's my take on all this.

This is a very good release IMO. I have seen the shit that gets put out, the shit that's been reencoded, and the shit that's been nuked by lots of groups, and this is not in the same catagory as those films. It makes me sick to think that just a few years ago, there were just shitty, shakey, out of focus CAMs and that was it! Now adays people, that feel it nesasary to voice what little opinion they have of these rls's, say just about the same thing. "what are you thinking? This rls is shit!", "this rls sux ass!", "the picture goes out of focus for 3 seconds on CD2 half way though the end credits!", and the like. Why bitch about it, but still keep coming back for more of this!? If the only time you people are going to be happy is when a damn near perfect TS comes out or a DVD Screener, then give it up! Those make up only 10% at most of all the rls's that get rls'd for us to enjoy. And that's what they're there for, for us to enjoy.

These groups wouldn't even let it out, outside of their independant groups, if they didn't give a shit about us, the leacher. That's what most of us are, leachers. Most don't have the equipment, technical knowledge, or the balls to do anything like this. I don't suck any group's dick, or bash any other one for anything they rls. I give props to groups that I believe deserve them for what it is they deserve. I'll say the video could use some work, or the hissing in the b/g is pretty bad, but I won't outright dis a group for the hard work they've put into something. I guess it's how I was raised....heh....get a bootleg copy of something, but don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

So, I guess what all this fucking rant is trying to say is, like many of the people I agree with, if you don't like it, then go to the theater and watch it. Or rent/buy the DVD. Or just go to consumptionjunction and rub one out to relieve the stress that it seems watching a movie that's not VHS/DVD quality causes. There should be a code of conduct for members here IMO, that if they have a problem with a rls, then only make comments that are productive and informitive, and not just group bashing. [/rant]

I give this rls a 6/7/9. Yea, the video is a little weak, but the sound is above par, and the movie is exelent. Keep it up SHoCKVCD!

Well i got to say this is better than any other rls atm, yes it may e a re-encode but it much more watchable than the others.
I ran it through tmpeg to crop out the awkward angles and upped the colours looks good, i enjoyed it .... the hype makes it better than wot it is tho...

Minority Report

Well I fell for the hype of the release and downloaded the sample, I thought It seemed quite good quality. From watching cd 1, , I wansn't overly impressed with the quality of the video, 5/10 and audio isn't that much better. I can't compare it to the other releases as I waited around untill one came out that seemed decent quality. Anyways I appreciate the effort that groups do to release these movies, this is just my two cents, not that it's worth that much.

yeah yeah... just a little better pic if ya clean it up although the soud is much imporved much more watchable than earlier releases video 6 sound 8 great movie.

This release suks too...horrible beggining camera all off center , the sides missing..blurry.weres the fuk is Centropy?.....for this day and age of digital technology this is barbaric..maybe someday we'll all laugh at this have the speed to send vob files like vcd.
Admit this boys..dvd cant be beat..even i go to the theater...rarely and the picture suks and hear that buzzing projector behind me.
Last picture i saw was Star Wars ep2 and the screen quality suked..some loser must of threw up a soda at the screen...ruined it all.......give me my DVD's and my flat panel tv!!!!!!

Obviously DVD is better quality- good luck trying to get your hands on a dvd copy of these latest movies though!

Ok let me just say having watched the shock-vcd and the ESOinternal rls let me say that Shock-vcd contained the end plus credits and WAS watchable , however the ESOinternal had more of the beginning BUT the end was missing and also during the film about 2/3rds through the movie it jumped maybe missing 1 or 2 min of the movie(or more).

At the end of the day if you want to view the entire movie go see it at the theatre OR get BOTH of these rls', in order to see the full movie.

After seeing the movie last night at the cinema .. I thought.. ooh, must download this...

But I wasn't very impressed with the quality at all....

It was totally watchable, but not the quality that i expected after such high marks. Lets not get carried away here people.

Mediocre quality

As others have said, the relatively high figures for this release are not justified. The picture looks like a washed-out cam job and the audio is distorted all the way through, enough to interfere with the dialogue in many places. I would rate this release something like: video 5, audio 5, movie 9.

Now for a rant ...

Two things really frustrate me when I come here. One: this is a quality rating forum. I come here for only one reason, which is to work out whether a release is worth downloading or not. When I see people providing ratings based on the sample instead of the whole movie, it totally distorts the rating system. The only people who should be rating a movie are those who have watched all discs. The recent TeG Goldmember release was a good example of this - the audio glitches virtually ruined the second disc yet a number of reviews were saying the audio was great.

Secondly, I think ebullient praise for groups when submitting a quality report is just as lame as all the flames. It's starting to sound like the goddamn Academy Awards around here, where people are all politically correct, wear an AIDS ribbon and thank the Lord. Please just rate the frickin' movie!
