Why? I watched this movie, and the VORTEX quality was perfectly watchable. Im sick of the VCD scene and how every movie has been released about 2-4 times before we can settle on it. I mean PROPERs are exceptable, but when you have 3 copies of this movie, 7 copies of 007 etc.. it just gets annonying.

is it hurting you that there is more than one copy of movies? a little healthy competition never hurt anyone, plus it is most likely the result that some releases are done so quickly

WTF is a matter with there being loads of releases of the same movie, it just give us the chance to pick what we think is the best quality, theres nothing wrong withit, the more rls the better i say

This was a good release on this movie there is a difrence in TS and TC remember that.

Well it wasn't a link because you couldn't click on it and be linked to the web site, you'd have to copy it and paste it in ie. However once yournamehere made it a link I clicked on it and it was completely unfunny and stupid. Oh yeah, and this release is unnecessary. The last ts was perfectly great for an animated film and this isn't a good movie anyway, shouldn't be anymore releases unless the source is a dvd.

Mis labelled

A telecine is when a laptop is plugged directly into the real, and audio, this should be labelled as a screener, as long as that is a real timer.

Uhh... WTF are you talking about. I dont usually flame, but that was just stupid. Really think before you post. All videocd (or at least almost all) have counters in them. No matter what they are as long as they arent dvdrips (which they usually dont do)

ok.. it makes no sense to me how someone could say this release is unneeded.. i mean its a shitty movie.. but if people descriminate movies that re released have of the shit wouldnt get released at all.. there is a hollow sound TS for this movie.. so a telecine was completely warranted..

In fact you are the dumbass, all videocds are in fact screeners and I think they should lable them as such, they just think they are cool because they label it telecine because the movie company telecined it and then mastered it to a vhs tape, so to be correct this is mislabeled

This is an excellent release

Vortex version wasnt good the Colours are faded and its blocky the sound was poor also

This is much better

The more releases the better . its only 1CD and only takes a couple of hours to download

Don't contradict your self you just said the movie was first a telecine then you say its mislabeled. Just because the mastering adds b&w scenes and property marks it's still a TC.

the video looked good..but it lost major points for having black and white scenes when they had the "Property Of" stuff on it, honestly, that bites, it was annoying to.

The audio, it sounded a bit muffled and at some times...clipped.

The movie itself, it blew. It wasn't as good as everyone made it out to be. Too many musical scenes. I guess I have grown up more than I thought.

As noted, this is a TC, not a TS. Also as noted, the TC was appreciated by some as the TS had a sound issue.

I wanted to point out that multiple releases in different formats is not only "acceptable" but ENCOURAGED. Mocking a release in TC when the TS was released would be like saying there shouldn't be a DivX of a movie when the DVDrip was available.

What I think some people are attempting to explain to the noobs is that when you have several groups releasing the same movie in the same format, it's taking up valuable space. That can hurt the scene (not because of one release, but if it becomes habitual it surely will). That's why a few groups tried to set standards for SVCDs - if the standard is adhered to, there'd be no "need" for a re-release by another group. It's different with TS/TC because of the source and capture method, as many movies do have picture and/or sound quality issues that beg for a *Proper* to be released.

As far as this release goes, I've finally gotten around to looking at it. Rating it by TC standards and keeping in mind it's an animated feature, I give it 8/8/5 (the movie's got some funny parts and both of Sandler's fans will probably buy this on DVD).
