i went to see this on saturday it was ok. i didnt fall asleep like i thought i would. MaTinE also put out a copy but not sure about the ratings yet i havent watched that one. got this morning.

Same video as MaTinE's release, audio is just a little improved (audio on MaTinE's CAM was so good it sounded direct)..BTW guys, this release was bought off the streets in NYC, friend of mine bought this shit on sunday...i watched it days ago . Video quality is good, slight tilt, gets a little dark at times...and it's slightly blury. Can't comment on the total audio for this release, but from the sample it was good..almost the same as the CAM's audio. Get this release over the CAM...but damn these groups are lame for putting out street bought shit. Now we DO know the truth about POT and MaTinE..well atleast i do

you speak as thought u got the releases a long time ago, but when u posted it was pre'd like 10min before then, so i donno how u got it any earlyer then that!

anyway Video is not bad! a little dark could use a bit more color but still nice, SOunds is perfect, nice and clear and full, only watched sample and a few rars! movie looks funny but not my style!

how do we know that this release wasnt POTs/MaTines release to start with. as, ive had releases before that havent even made it to this site. the only way to know for sure is for POT/maTine to come clean

How do we know that it wasn't theirs to start with? Because it was being sold on the streets in NYC in Saturday/Sunday. It took until tuesday for MaTinE to put out the cam, so it was quite obvious that they bought it off the streets. And as for POT, well, i know it wasn't them selling it on the street...so they obviously obtained the video from the same place as well...

Like i said, you guys can believe what you want, but now i know for a fact that POT has/does obtain their shit from street silvers, as does matine, and probably a few other groups. I have the street copy in front of me, so i have a reason to believe it..but my words mean nothing to you guys i guess. Believe it or don't, but it's the truth!

Umm..can we say Silver? Did you honestly think each group has their own private projectionist that puts stuff out specifically for the groups? A good portion of the rlses are silvers brother..heh

Anyway concerning the qual of the rls (judging from the sample of course =p ), A little washed out but not to bad…the audio you can tell is very direct.

Had the cam this morn,i just got the sample of pot.to be honest from that they both look the same.even if the disc was bought from a new york street i dont care - its along way for me to go.so thx guys for the rls (both versions).video has slight movment not alot,but enough to notice.sound great.well watchable.(when i say movment it just moves 1 or 2 mill.looks like a flicker)

Being as I've also seen the shit sold off the streets, most of them are CAM's ... POT's stuff isn't homemade and if anyone believes that then they should just sit in a corner and wait for death to come and take them.

The only reason that POT's releases are "homemade" is because they have to find a DTS supplier, or they need someone to sit in the cry room or something to plug into the jacks and record the soundtrack to the movie without laughter/etc ...

I wish groups would just come clean about how they come across movies, most of the time its an NYC silver, unless it's CTP(mostly)/VideoCD/or maVen ... but those releases are rare. If you've been around for long enough, everyone knows about Canal Street. You should visit there sometimes, stuff is a lot harder to find now-a-days

This movie sucks, from watching a couple rars of this release, it's watchabe, if you want to watch Fat Albert (yeah! yeah! yeah!) Video is about a 6 (for those dark places), and the audio is pretty good ... 9, the movie is horrible, I give it a 2.

And i doubt POT would get nuked for stolen source, since the nukers know this fact, and its a same silver NOT an original source.

Your review was spot on, but i'm gonna wait it out for a homemade SVCD TS i think!! As for the DTS Audio nearly every group can get DTS disks, true homemade stuff is all done by themselves and therefore better quality comes out.

Centropy has been doing it longer than anyone and it shows. At least ppl finally understand the POT is NOT as L33T as they want to be. ENJOY!!!

You really don't realize that they are identical until you see the end and realize there was much more of the movie to see and they just cut off during the end, when it was more meaning full. Not that the movie didn't end. But there was more to show. Kind of like Kill Bill 2 when there were showing all the characters and who they portray'd it just shut off.

5/7/9 movie was great, I thought it was going to suck but it surprised me and was great.

The movie has good sound, the picture is washed and dark all around the edges. Still, it's the only version out and might just stay this way. I don't care how POT gets it and it's crazy to want groups to, "COME CLEAN." Let's be happy we can watch the movie on our time and that someone else put the effort to give it to us.

i just watched this on my standalone...and the quality was'nt that bad....the picture was a lil dark around the edges and colors were a little washed out but overall quality of the picture was pretty clear..it was'nt blocky at all as stated in previous posts...sound was very nice...movie was pretty good...overall quality...very watchable rls..and i don't care where it came from..props to pot on speed and pretty descent quality of rls.

matine's has more color, and a higher bitrate then the PoT version, they are even cropped differently.....i mean all these paragraphs on this topic and the topic itself is in question lol....silly noobies

This post is one of the resons i don't even pay attention to the votes in here anymore. I watched the full release and have to wonder what you were watching. The pic was so bright it hurt your eyes. Making the brightness even worse was the picture was dark around the edges. Also it was blocky and cropped a good bit. If you remove all these things then it would be a 8.5.

Doesn't ANYONE rate on seeing the WHOLE movie? The sample looked fine. What's the point of rating the movie on just the sample though? I've only read ONE review that had anything to do with the movie available--the rest is garbarge about but kissing to particular people putting out the releases--no one cares--we just want to see if the movie is worth the download/worth wasting cd's on.

The first half hour or so of the first cd looked fine, if a little light/washed out. Then it all went to crap. Blocky pic, distortion, not watchable. If more folks had WATCHED the movie before giving their "expert opinions", I'd have known that I had to wait for a better release.

[EDIT:: This site is called VCD >>QUALITY<< which is what you should be rating, so use the sample if you want (it's not always the most accurate, but it gets the ratings posted quicker). I agree though that if somebody hasn't actually seen the whole release, they should only rate the video and audio and not the whole movie though - Neversoft]

Video is very unique, if you really want to see this, by all means, it's a solid, POT TS. I don't see anyone losing sleep over releasing this, so this may be the copy to keep for a little bit. Audio is very nice, a tad low. The picture looks dark, the reason people are complaining that it's too bright is the contrast of the characters costumes. They are meant to be technicolor ben-hur style colors, not neutral, camera-easy colors. It's an over the top film, don't expect too much. Picture looks 'dirty' due to this, but overall, it's a very solid release. POTs been putting it down lately.

And BTW, these forums are hilarious, the BS ratio in ratings is like 1 to 13 posts. Please collectively save folks' bandwidth and rate the film, not stroke your scene penis. I don't think that's what the admins had in mind when building this site.
