Everytime I turn around, I see this face...

These are the last four movies I've seen:
Chicago
Gangs of New York
The Good Girl
The Hours

He was in every single one of them! Jeezus! Is this ugly fucker gonna be in every goddamned movie from now on?! LOL

Gee... I wonder WHICH FILM he's going to win an Oscar for? I'm not a fan of his work but the way things are going I'm willing to bet with almost 100% certainty that he (John C. Reilly, yes he has a name) will take home an Oscar for Best supporting actor in a Male role. Personally, I think he's not very talented and currently overrated. Just wait and see though... he'll win one. They always do it like this.

he can't be overrated when he's completely unknown by most people. Anyway i thought he had a good performance in The Good Girl

I didn't mean overrated like Julia Roberts. I meant overrated by the Hollywood community (casting, directors, etc.). I see nothing special about him. I don't think he'd be getting all these roles unless some insiders were pulling strings for him.

i think he's a great actor, i never had any quirps about his acting in any of the movies he's been in this year. Julia Roberts isn't overrated either though, bad example. You obviously just have a biased grudge against the guy
