Buring question
Okay, I am downloading AVI files and then encoding the them to MPEG 320X252 using Main Concept MPeg encoder. After that create a dvd using TMPEGenc DVD author. My problem is alot sometimes my dvds lag. You start watching it and it is fine, but after a while the sound is either ahead or behind the video. Why is this. And how can i fix it ?
pretty sure VCD is 352x (NTSC 240; PAL 280)

without a doubt you need to sync the video with the video better are you using an automatic setting? Whyn dont you use TMPGEnc to make the avi conversion at least its all the same company and that may also help
