Vera Drake *LIMITED* - DVDRIP - Centropy

Centropy causing controversy again !

Vera.Drake.2004.LiMiTED.DVDRiP.SVCD-LiQUOR released Thursday Morning.

Vera.Drake.LIMITED.SVCD.DVDRiP-Centropy released Thursday Night.

Now noone nuked LiQUOR , and said "excellent release" (quote) then Centropy released. Right away Centropy was nuked everywhere for dupe LiQUOR.

LiQUOR = 2CD (undersized) , why was it only 2CD? .. cause of low bitrate (below 1750kbps).

This should have been an easy PROPER for Centropy .. but no tag in dirname , and nothing said in nfo , cause their above the rules. People didnt notice the bitrate on LiQUOR till after Centropy released. LiQUOR more then likley is a re-encode of the XviD released the day before , which would explain the low bitrate.

Centropy's is the copy to get *if* you can get it as it was nuked everywhere. If they actually labled right or put some effort of why its better in their nfo ... or if grps stopped re-encoding we wouldnt have this problem and everyone would have access to this good movie.

As a SVCD (from rars , gonna pick up DVDR)

Centropy prolly regarded the obvious xvid-reencode from LiQUOR a NON-release, so imho they are right by just releasing the correct SVCD-release without the tagging. It's not up to them to inform sceneppl/nukers/siteops of reencodes.. they oughta know themselves by now how to spot those

At the time Centropy released , LiQUOR wasnt nuked anywhere , and it wasnt till an hour after Centropy released people realised that LiQUOR's copy had flaws to the sound. Which woulda made Centropy a dupe.

Regarless , i think there is too many rules and too much politics nowadays in shit thats suppost to be fun & free.

Everyone is nuking off of TDX Rules from 2002 , signed by grps who 98% arent around anymore. Rules need to be updated bigtime ...

I say screw the rules , screw the politics ... release what you got , if people want it they will leech it , if it comes to at most ...

LMFAO- and NO Offense or Flaming meant, but groups like Centropy are the bench mark of quality and while they should follow the rules.

You have got to be crazy if u think that they arent gonna get raced .

Groups like Centropy will very VERY Seldomly be NUKED. They have been around since before the rise of MIRC and they have always been Quality over Quantity. And they always drop a few releases just when u think they are gone, just to let u know they are still around and to show all the other groups how a release should be done.

Yes, I agree this was potentially a dupe as i saw no flaws with LIQUOR's release, but then again the quality on the Centropy release is excellent. Without sounding like a Centropy groupie or Lover. Lets face it Centropy is, L33T, if NOT the leetest group around and I welcome all there releases to the scene. This is one Group that gets praised and believe me it is well deserved.

LONG LIVE THE SCENE!!!
