What program do you rip just audio from a Music DVD?

Hi,

Just wanted to know if anyone could tell me a program I could use to rip the audio from a music dvd?

To like WAV or MP3..

Cheers in advance!

I use GoldWave myself. It has a "CD Reader" function.. just click on the track, hit "Save", give it the parameters (WAV, any kind of MP3, etc), and off it goes. Works like a charm.

Xilisoft DVD Audio Ripper. you can select a title from the dvd and rip the audio to wav (and mp3 or wma i think) and its very fast. then if you want it to be in a different format than what it came as (wav), use Xilisoft WMA MP3 Converter.

oh and by the way, xilisoft programs always work, are fast, and are very simple to use!

When saying "Music DVD", do you mean a real video DVD like a concert etc. or do you mean a DVD-Audio?

Cause I'm not sure if DVD-ROM drives are able to read DVD-Audio. Guess not but I could be wrong.

mattmatt02's method sounds pretty easy, tho I always used a different method.
I ripped the files using IFO mode in DVD Decrypter, then demuxed all streams using DGIndex and then converted the AC3 file to VBR MP3 using BeSweet.
