splitting video files...

HI all...
Have ANOTHER question
When I want to split movie files(divx/Xvid) into 700mb's then they don't play propaly on my standalone dvdplayer :-(. They are not syncronised anymore (on dvdplayer, on my comp they work fine). All the other moviefiles splitted by release groups work fine on standalone. Maybe it's the lame proggy that I use? (easy video splitter)
Does anyone has a solution that doesn't include reencoding?
Thx

try "advanced avi splitter" and "jFuse" for mpgs.

Open VDubMod (Virtual Dub Mod).
Open your AVI file.
Select no if you're using a VBR mp3 audio stream and it's asking shit about the header.
Set Video to Direct Stream Copy.
Press "Pos1" for your starting point.
Hold shift and use the slider. This will make sure you only cut at I frames. Set slider to the correct position and press end.
Now save that part. Do the same for the rest.
