Well, since nobody else is talking about this, mind as well...

Finally checked it out. Looked MUCH better than I thought for the bitrate. Just over 4GB for the movie itself for a 110 min movie, which was decent I guess. Can't complain. Didn't see too many problems other than my usual nitpicks, but I am sure buying the disc would help remedy some of the problems. Definitely not the best movie I've seen, and at most I'd pick it up at Blockbuster for $4.99 And even then, I'll probably never watch the movie again. But don't get me wrong, it was worth watching once (like many many movies out there).

Overall, video was good (not perfect). 8.5/10 video... What do I base that score on? I really don't know That number popped into my head. Nice encode either way, and definitely worth checking out.

DVD-R 9/10 : ehh, would have cut the deleted scenes. But only like 180megs worth, far from the end of the world. Nice job. OH, and they didn't brand the label as ANBC_SAHARA this time either

Can't fault this transfer. There is some jerkiness in the menu and in scenes with excessive panning, otherwise perfect. Just the right amount of extras and none of those infuriating previews. The various menu options work the way they are supposed to which is all too rare these days.

Not a complaint abou the rip but a movie of this nature should really have a DTS soundtrack. Despite being quite silly the movie manages to capture some of the magic of early Bond movies and even the music reflects this. Worth watching if only for a couple of hours of uncritical entertainment.

9/9/8

Worth watching, kinda corny at times but overall it was a descent 110 mins of fun.
