Nice to see Workprints still being released. Poor Person but good for all us leechers.

Quality:

Not the nicest WP i have ever seen. Blocky & Pixelated. Giant text all over the screen which doesnt bother me too much. I yet to see it in the theaters so i dont know if/any scenes are missing or added. Sound was a little wierd, high effects and low voices.

Nicest copy out to date - but ill have to pass.

Rating as a Workprint

Video - 5
Watchable but not pretty

Audio - 6
A little screwed up - easy to fix

Movie - ?
No Comment - Yet to see it

I understand if your source is screwed, well theres not much you can do about it. But why ... oh why SVCD! What a waste of bandwidth & space. They even said in their nfo it was screwed.

History of Workprints clearly shows own source Workprints as VCD Formats. The 3 SVCD Workprint sources were 1) DVDRip, 2) VHSRip, 3) NOX .. well that explains that.

If the source is already screwed encoding it to an MPEG2 format is not going to improve the quality any, just longer to encode (sounds like it was a tight race with your source), and a waste of bandwidth & space.

On that note i recommend that if you want this workprint, check the XViD section of vcdquality and grab one of the 700MB 1 CD XViD copies rather then a 3 CD SVCD Copy. (VCD format would have been 2 CD). Same quality, less CDs.
