Transformers The Game...

I really hope this isn't an indication of the up coming movie, but instead a rushed and unfinished product, because this game blows a hard one. I was one of the many that pre-ordered this game back when it was announced and was stoked to destroy some shit with giant fuckin robots, thing is though this game lasts in total about 7 hours and thats it. You have 5 chapters for both the Autobots and Decepticons and there is little to no replay value unless you want to waste your time on finding orbs and shit. Needless to say I wanted out of my purchase and last night put it on ebay and sold it this morning. I think that is the shortest amount of time I have owned a game, but I'm glad to be rid of it. It's not even worth a rental in my opinion. Just wait until a publisher who isn't under the deadline of a movie release to find a better transformers game than this. It's utterly disappointing at how this game turned out.

*on another note, you can't even transform in air, you have to be grounded...so gay.

There was a transformers game that came out a few years ago that seemed decent. Not great but some fun. Check i tout.

As for the new movie coming out, Michael Bay. Nuff said!!!

New game is entertaining, short as hell but definitely worth at least a rental. Some of the physics are dubious, largely when driving but the actual action itself and destructable scenery is pretty good.

Not being able to transform whilst jumping as a robot is a bit of a sod, but something you get used to (after all, they jump when transforming anyway), and you can change back to robot form at any point.

In my opinion, definitely worth a rental, and if you're a transformers fan then you'll enjoy the hell out of it (largely because short of the pretty good PS2 title, there's nothing out there).

In short, it's kinda like crackdown but with giant robots.

Oh and the DS version of the game FUCKING RULES.
