91 files!

Hi there,

I'm new on this site. I just downloaded Ratatouille.DVDR-ThP. It's about 4,38 Gb, so i think it's in a dvd format already.

Normaly i download a movie with avi. extension, so it's only 1 file. I convert it to Vts files with ConvertXtoDVD so i can burn it on dvd.

But now this movie has 91 files. With all kind of extensions witch i never have seen before...

I want to know how to watch it and also how to submit a subtitle.

Does somebody know here these points?

Thanks, Laurence

I've moved your post to the newbie section as it doesn't belong in the release comments thread.

You say there are over 90 files with various extensions but you don't say what the extensions are.

What do you mean you want to submit a subtitle?

Are the 91 files RAR archives? Use Winrar to extract the DVD image (IMG file). Burn with DVD Decrypter or ImgBurn.

Probably a .rar archive but the archive skips the initial .rar file and starts at .001 or .r01 and goes up...

Just open the .rar or the lowest numbered .00n/.r0n file in WinRar/7Zip/WinZip/Universal Extractor and extract the contents.

Chances are you'll either have the DVD contents ready to burn in the archive or more likely a .iso file - Burn .iso files with ImgBurn (well, you can use Nero if you don't mind waiting for the fucking behemoth to launch).

You might also have .sfv files... Use QuickPar or SFVChecker to verify your download using the .sfv file.

Did I miss anything?
