went and saw this at the cinema,
holy shit it was wrong in so many ways,
trust me on this, i watch a movie with an open mind but this movie needs to be watched with closed eyes.


10,000 years before christ (BC) - Homo neanderthalensis had died out and homo sapiens now ruled the earth (basically us).

why the movie sucked:

the tribe the movie was based on consisted of actors of all ethnic origin - ie, chinese, indian, caucasian, newzealand - fucking pathetic

the actors were completely unconvincing of being an ancient man,
not to mention speaking perfect english, not even trying to break the shit up.

their travels into africa met with africans who also spoke english,
what a fucking miricle - the africans claim they learnt english from one of the tribe members

their travels into egypt saw the erections of the great pyramids of giza - pyramid construction didnt start untill 2630 BC

and the CGI animals were all from the wrong era.

but if you can handle that then you wont be able to handle the acting, fucking pathetic script, the plot and most of all the completely shitty and abrupt ending.

I started to watch it with my boy and couldnt handel it.
Its just like motaba describes it..I could only watch it up to where he claimed the so called kill......

My boy liked it but hes only 11 I think its geared more twoards the young ones...Glad I had it on DVD it would be a waste of money going to see it
