this is the 4th in the series? when did i miss one? first wuz silence of the lambs, then hanibal * SPELING IM DRUNK* then Red Dragon..? i understand the story is somewhat told backwards but how is this the 4tf? wtf am i missin?

well technicly its the 3rd but could be considered the 4th half assedly..

this movie is a remake of an older movie called manhunter.. which was made on a low budget and of course without anthony hopkins so they decided to remake it with their big hollywood budget ...

so 3rd story in the lot.. 4th physical movie created

obviously OBUS has the supplier, and thanks very much btw for great releases so early like The Piano, Max, and this one, but can someone just give them some encoding tips?

perfect release? this one has horizontal lines, pixellates every time something movies quickly, and the sound is tinny. I've noticed these characteristics in many of their releases. if they could up the quality of their encodes this would be a powerhouse group!!!

so i assume obus were refering to the fact that they know about the movie manhunter( the cheap crappy old movie) which some people believe to be better than Red Dragon. anyway , so i assume that makes this the fourth in the series, since manhunter was released then silence of the lambs etc. thats why i stated that the story was told backwards (which i resent). but its a screener so good job obus, im downloading it now, the quality looks good, but i hear the movie wasnt all it was made out to be, but i loved silence of the lambs. Mens heads get cut up. GREAT!. so this film is the one for you if your a fan of hannibal. anyway thankyou for the information on the film.who has already seen this release please and knows if the quality if ok.

good movie, much better than hannible and manhunter, not as good as silence of the lambs.

as for the quality, this is about as good as regular screeners get. so i will give it 9/9/9, remember this isnt a dvd screener, so that is why it gets the high numbers

Nope, There was a movie before silence of the lambs. I cant think of the name from the top of my head but check for yourself

for a vhs scr its pretty decent lil pixelated
audio is pretty nice

i have not seen the movie but something tells me they could have picked a different scene to use for teh sample

could not find a rls date for the dvd so no tellin when dvdscr or retail will be out
noticed the soundtrack is done by danny elfman very interesting

Hey, I'm new here. Haven't seen the sample but wanted to clear up some confusion. Manhunter is NOT a part of the Red Dragon, Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal series. It was a cheap and horrible rip off of what Red Dragon now is. They are the exact same movie. The order I named them in is the order they go in. If anyone remembers the previews for the movie or even the movie posters you would see at bus stops, malls, etc. It said right on them "The first and scariest of the trilogy coming soon!"

I watched the entire release on my tv , good quality doesnt look pixilated or whatever. sound is good to , isnt low its just that anthony hopkins is whispering in the sample. Thank you obus for a great release.

The order the books came out in is how it should be. Manhunter shouldn't even be in there. Manhunter wasn't BASED on Red Dragon, it was a rip off of the book Red Dragon. Watching Red Dragon was like dejavu after watching Manhunter a few years back...thank god Red Dragon had quite a few better parts to put it way on top of Manhunter.

um, actually its the prequel, and hollywood did need to remake it, cause it sucked, they even used different titles so a remake could be made, thats why the film students did it that way, cause they thought they were gonna suck, which the acting did, and a remake should have been done, i paid and saw this film in the theaters, and it wasnt as good as the Red Dragon, which phenomenally Ed Norton acted far better than one would imagine. anyhow, enjoy this nice rls people
