Hrm
I would read the rules before posting here, no one is going to tell you where to download anything. If anything you will just get on peoples nerves.
I can only guess the flood of DVD Screener rips lately is most likely be due to the Golden Globes, Academy Awards etc...let's hope this trend will last! I have to say this is one HOT rls and 2nd only to LotR!
Happy Viewing!

What are these msgs about people requesting stuff. I don't see any reply's asking for the movie?

sad. you register up and spend your time spammin the board, and it takes me less than 5 secs to ban you.
Nice release. Best group out there right now is TCF, fastempire keep the rlses coming and you;'ll be up there.
Here is my ranking of vcd groups:
1.TCF
2.Eviliso
3.Fastempire
4. Teg-vcd
5.Centropy(sry guys u jhust rls ts and i dont like ts )
6. TWCiSO
7.Tfe(not consistent)and rlses arent too great in qual
what u guys think
[[ edit - for a laugh i was gonna change your no. 1 to Hbo/HboDVD just to see you get some flak heh but im kind - pHo ]]
I dunno, i personally wouldn't put TCF at the top. Granted their last few releases were quality, but i'm gonna wait to see what happens in the longrun. LOTR was encoded very well, and the decision to put it across 4 discs i fully support, but i think a lot of people have had a problem with the way it was packed. I didn't tho, and to be honest, that's all i care about
I don't tend to download TS' unless i'm bored, so i'd have to say FastEmpire, TCF, TWC, Evil etc I keep my eyes on the most atm.

this is a little off topic, but for those that care hbo/ftf is a completely different group not at all affiliated with hbo-dvd. they're hq'ed on 2 different nets. just check the nfos
PHO hold up a second
u cant put fastempire before tcf u must be on drugs. think about it.
fastempire has had 3-4 good rlses. tcf has had 9-12. i mean come on .
u must look at fastempire in the lONG run, u should look at tcf but i think there is more of a chance of fastempre dying than tcf
sorry i dun go in to depths of hbo like u.

I must disagree...
First, this release of Ocean's 11 kicks serious ass!!! I loved the movie all 3 times I saw it in the movies, and now I own the DVD Anyway, while this is a great release, as are the other DVD releases, this is only a testament to how many good sources those companies have...not what they do with their movies. It takes a real sloppy moron to mess up a dvd-rip, which the guys who have done Lord of the Rings, Ocean's 11, etc have not done...they have done a very fine job of bringing us high-quality dvd rips. That being said, no company is better at bringing consistently good movies as Centropy. Wait a little while, when the screener scene dies down (No more Oscars to be won!!!) and see who brings the most consistent releases. Their releases of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Orange County, Count of Monte Cristo, etc. were hands-down the best around at the time. I can't take points away from them because they do not get screeners...because year-round, they are consistently the best.

Yes!! I was awaiting a good release of this movie for ages -- I must say all the other releases were crap but this is amazing! Really good job - Along w/ the LOTR SVCD this is really a pleasent suprise!
Version I glimpsed.....
The version I glimpsed posted in the news groups recently didn't look so great. Are there different rips of this screener? It was a screener but was very blocky. Any thoughts?

Heyy guys!!!!!
[ no requesting. read the rules, your lucky i haven't banned you straight away, as you double posted, but i'm willing to believe it was by accident. pHo ]
nice stuff :)
This was an awesome movie (the cast is great), and an AWESOME rip as well. I really like these widescreen ones the best. The quality is awesome (barely any blocks), as well as the audio. Like psilicin said, I wish the Oscars were every month so we could get more of these DAMN NICE DVD Screeners Props to FASTempire.
great release, i didnt notice any blocks like mentioned above and i thought the sound was really good. only bad thing is the watermark that appears like 3 times in the movie. good thing it isnt a big one like the ghosts of mars vhs screener a while back. i hope dvd screeners will start to be that standard now, there is no reason for them not to be. and i love fast empire.
Excellent
Give it a 9/10. Great video and sound, puts all other Ocean releases to shame.
Question
Can any of you explain me the diferences between DVDScreener and SVCD? When I am currently downloading Oceans 11 Screener and I want to know if I can burn it in a CD to view it in my DVD player (not DVDRom) Thank you very much
i can answer that the DVD screener is a screening copy of the film for the crittic, it can be on anything but now days its on DVD's. The svcd means super cd this can be played on a stand alone dvd player because it is Mpeg 2, its just bigger 800mb
i hope this answers your question
Man, I wanna see it too!
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong. (You though a request was coming, right? ;-)
I usually burn the mpeg with Nero so first I extract the mpeg with Isobuster from the bin.
But the AVSEQ1 is impossible to watch. I get a message saying "unsupported format". ...same as you get if you try to play a non complete DivX in MPlayer.
So I try to make a SVCD anyway but when pasting AVSEQ1 into Nero it complains that it's a unrecognized file type.
I'm confused here.... Anyone with a solution?
Btw, Virtual Daemon doesn't play the bin either.
I sence something is missing on my computer. But Monsters Inc and Harry Potter worked fine.
I'm using Win XP if that has something to do with it.
(Moderator, if this is the wrong forum I'm sorry. Hope not
ya its wrong forum i can't be arsed to delete or split it tho, im ill, so i'll let it stay hehe pHo)
Thanks!
well what you have to play it on is a dvd player you can download a player from www.cdrsoft.cc make sure u get Power DVD Delux i found any other program does not run properly.
this will work trust me
I removed the first track (Track#0) with vcdgear and joined the pieces together and voila. It works!
Don't know what that first track is but as long as it's working.
Track 01 was removed.
