First off, you need to stop requesting in these forums. When you signed up, one of the rules was to NOT request!

Now, FTF must have gotten blessed this past X-mas with a new cam, cuz ever since, their releases have been gettin better as the does go on. This rls looks great for a FTF/HBO rls. Mad props to them for the quick rls as well. Decent quality and sound.

u kids are silly but entertaining ,ftf owning the scene funny shit they have a lot to learn but they are getting better...but quality before quantity and thats a thing they dont understand yet...hope they'll learn that so they can get rid of the shitty encoding in overall then it would be even more better...

Well, I just finished watching the FTF TS and its poor to average quality at best. A lot of sound clitches and background hiss. Video is very dark and un-viewable in a lot of scenes.

The other problem with this release is that CD2 overlaps CD1 by about 20 minutes. WTF, I like 10 or 20 seconds of overlap, but not 20 minutes. Not sure if the complete movie is there or not, but I get a run time of under 90 minutes.

I give it a 4/10.

First off FTF will never own the scene with their current level of encoding as well as the level of video quality. Yes i must admit lately they have improved, but just by a slim margin. Just cuz you take a worn tire in to be retreaded doesnt mean its gonna be better than before. The person needs to learn how to capture correctly and then encode correctly. I think if they can correct these two aspects then they may be able to run with the big dogs. Anyway good job on a fast release and yes it is very watchable. i give it 1 nut up for releasing fast, 1 nut sideways for quality.................

Yeah well done FTF, it even sayd they have 'new' equipment.
I come from New Zealand and we use Pal format here and in the nfo is says they used a Pal DV Camera but the vcd is released in ntsc, how come, why not get a ntsc camera if you can.
Anyway, great work guys, keep it up and make us proud

The quality is average in general but excellent for FTF, the thing that sets them back is the video capturing is probably quiet reasonably well done, the encoding is much to be desired for, seriously now they've got a camera getting a good capture card and some knowledge can't be to much more effort.

I am glad FTF has got their stuff together, the question I have, are there any scenes missing, alot of past FTF releases, are missing the last 30 seconds, or have chopped up scenes, and missing scenes. Is this missing anything?

The reason for the pal camera is because when camming a movie pal has less motion blur than ntsc.

CD2 starts off about 15 minutes before CD1 ends, not a big deal, but I dont wanna watch 15 minutes I already saw. Quality is not that great, definitley not up to par with Centropy and Teg releases, and with this being the type of movie it is, with special effects and all, I recommend waiting for a better release to download.

this is a 4/10 not 7/10

and as someone wrote earlier, what's with the 16 minute (around that) overlap of cd1 onto cd2????

It isn't a bad release. I just finished watching it, just now had time.

Here is the rundown on the release, i'm not flaming it at all. I'm the type that says, if you don't like it don't download it. So this is not me flaming it, but giving an accurate description of the quality.

17min 35sec to be exact overlap of CD1 film onto CD2 film
24min 30sec into CD2 horrible loud hissing sound, it goes away after about 1min. Adjusting bass/treble/volume has no effect
During the dungeon scene on CD2, it is very dark. For the most part you can not tell what is going on very well.
Few pops in the sound throughout the movie, maybe 8 in total.
I didn't notice any scene cutage in the movie, perhaps the very end. But it looked like the movie was over. Unless there was an additional scene after it fades to darkness.

Rating: 7/10

this was a typical hbo shit telesync..

the static and pops were all at the worst parts of the movie to keep track what was going on..

that overlap is just inexcusable... how much of a retard do you hafta be to not release that before releasing..

The only good thing about this release is that it was an early one.
The only way ftf will be on top of the scene is if they have early releases like they do now and have as good quality as ctp.

It was to dark, alot of times u couldnt see shite, some of the screen was cut .. the sound hiss then was also popping at an important part in the movie, and lastly was the over lapping thing that also sucked and wasted bw, i gave it a 5/10
