Is this movie good? I'm thinking of tracking a copy down. Has anyone seen it? I've heard some good reviews on TV and such but nothing much mentioned here...

The Movie gives new meaning to the word weird. I liked it, the movie was interested, I think I rated it a 7.5 out of 10. See it if you really want to.

I can't wait to see it. I'd heard about it before, but on Monday, Jonathon Ross was reviewing it on Film 2002 (UK TV Show) saying it opens soon here and i thought, i have to see that movie. He said it was excellent too.

It does look great though. Natch i can't rent a DVD copy here in the UK, so what DVD RiP should i go for? I see 3 of em on the dpchk. The TEG one?

What one do you guys have?

I dunno which version of Ghost World to recommend to you. The copy i have is ripped from an R1 retail DVD (although i'm going to buy the original when i can afford it).

By the looks of it though, i'd suggest you go to your video store, rent it and rip it. Coz the best (english) version i can find here is this:

exactly what i did...i like ripping my own movies...i wonder if blockbuster or one of the larger chains will even have this...i had to go to one of those smaller stores with more obscure but less selection to get it

Napalm, yes, yes it is worth it. Commie, pHo, 404 and countless others will (or at least they should *shakes fists* lol) back me up on this when i say this is one hell of a movie.

I loved it so much i went out and bought the book (graphic novel) the following day. I even made my avatar lol. It's just so different to any other 'teen movie'. You'll love it, but you won't know why. LOL.

Oh, and Thora Birch has the fattest, ripest tits ever.

none of the donnie darko rips were very good. i think there was a PROPER done recently that was probably a bit better.

the ghost world i had originally was by everyones good friends APOLLO..

Ghost World is a teen movie. Sort of. It's more of a black comedy though. Sort of.

It's based on the (excellent) graphic novel of the same name by Daniel Clowes.

I did a review of it you can find here if you want to know what the movie is about. My advice, just watch it. It's great.
