better then the last release, still slightly over cropped, i saw this in the theaters the day it came out, a persionally, hated it, was nothing like i thought it would be (kinda like the nightmare before christmas)

Based on the sample....

This has got to be the stupidest part to put a sample...their sample is the opening credits.....

vido is pretty decent

audio...there was none in the sample

Ok first of all, the sample was obviously the opening credits to show the proper cropping. Second, no audio in the sample? There was music playing the ENTIRE sample and surpisingly clean for a cam aswell. Very nice cam indeed, it looks as though OSC is One Step Closer to being the next best Cam crew out.

Based on the couple of Rars I've seen, its a decent Cam job at best. Nice work ORC and thanks for the release!

Props for a new group taking the risks, but this is better how? Less flicker, but thats due to more of an angle to the screen. More of the screen on the right, about the same on the left, with the camera's curve added. Colours are pretty much the same as the BaPH release, the movie is very blandly colored to begin with. Audio is definately an improvement over the BaPH release, but if not for the slight angle, I'd say these were the same silver.

why are people hating on ORC? they are right now the best, most honest CAM group out. i mean... they do it themselves! anyway, it isn't overcropped, not cropped at all actually... play the BaPH release and this one side by side and you will see BaPH is missing about 30% of the screen while this one has the entire thing.

after comparing both rls I am going to stick w/ BaPH. ORC is STILL cropped, fuzzy, (turn off autofocus guys!) STILL has ghosting frames. much less flicker but colors are slighty green. BaPH is slightly pink. direct audio is a much missed treat...

i don't really understand the need for a proper. and there IS an angle :P~ see for yourself.

looks way better than the baph release... And the angle isnt that bad... And also, to that guy who said its a silver, i think you need to learn how to read nfo files. lol

edit: also, this release is one cd and better quality. (but baph just doesnt know how to package/crop so i think you could prolly un-rar thier rls and strip the mpegs to put them on one disc)

Ok first of all this is most def an improvement over the first cam of this released as anyone who has actually seen a few rars of this would agree, also the audio is bearable for a cam and thats always a plus .. as for the movie i only watched about 20 mins of it to get a feel for it and it seems interesting but i'll wait until a better rip comes along cuz im a picky bastard :P for a cam i give this 8/8/ haven't seen it all yet so no comment

i think this grp are great... they're obviously new to the game, they're goin out there and doin it themselves, and they're being honest about what they do, they tell u if theres something wrong with their release and they encourage comments and critisism in their nfos so they can improve... well done guys keep it up!!!!!

this release is actually pretty good... watched the sample and theres a slight angle but the video is really good for a cam and they seem to have cleaned up the audio pretty well....

if they're open to suggestions etc then heres a couple:

1: release in svcd format every time
2: sit further back in the cinema (you can get more of the screen in shot)
3: take off auto focus on the cam. just go on manual focus, set it right and leave it.
4: make sure cam is fully zoomed out at all times. you can crop out extra stuff round the cinema screen afterwards.
5: might also wanna try manual iris on the cam, this means getting perfect brightness /contrast.

i guess if these theories were put to the test they might be the best cam group ever to grace the scene

This movie was really cool i saw it last night in theatres and was really impressed.

Coulda been alittle cooler if Tim Burton incorporated Jack Skellington and such but it still was just an awesome production.

As for this release, psh i dunno i just wanted to say how cool the movie was!

Its the TOP and BOTTOM that have been over cropped, not the sides & the angle is blatent unless your blind.

For a Cam it is definately worth checking out... IF you are into Tim Burton. Audio is semi-decent... You can hear laughter and some cell phone ringing once, but really not to inturuptive. All in all worth the download ONLY if you can seed as always!! I say

There is a mini-VCD of this copy out already that is very cropped (top and bottom), blocky, and jerky as shit. I found out the hard way by being tired, starting a DL, taking a nap, and not checking the rars in progress.

Woke up, realized my mistake, and got the "right" copy.
This is about the best cam I have seen recently. Would have been nice to have a 2-disc version (or SVCD) of this, but can't complain. No noticable cropping, and angle is slight, hardly noticable. Great job on camming this guys.

Good early release.

i havent seen in the theatres, but to complain about crop i think is a bit crazy, but hey what do i know... the sound is great for a cam, but it has coughs laughs and such readjust noises (once), umm the pic is great about 20 mins in there is a readjustment on the cam, at the first i thought this was b&w washed out, til i saw the dead world... so im sure the color contrast is meant to be so.... as for the movie.... crazy, dememented a bit, and has a good ending/explination of the movie... good things, wierd but the cam is awesome, ctp qual atleast... besides audio, still great tho.... 9/8/6.5 wierd but it works in a strange way
