audio/video a tad out of sync on my player...... anyone else get this?

Very sweet release. Didn't like their version of Starsky much, but VideoCD redeemed themselves with this one. Vive le France.

Judging by the sample it has nice video & audio. alittle dark & blurry but 10 times better then VERiTY release. 8/8/??

Nice release...well needed..
Is it just me..or did the movie just cut off at the end..and we missed a major part about (something) don't want to spoil it. But it was cut short. Before the credits. Missing a major part of the end.

(Don't get me wrong videocd does quality stuff, but leaving stuff out. Even for a telesync is just bad. This should be nuked and so should Starsky and Hutch regardless of the quality. Its missing parts. The beginning of SH and now the ending to Secret Window.)

This needs a proper with the complete film and so does Starsky Hutch....

very very nice release, video is good, widescreen, decent colors, and nice and sharp. audio as usual is perfect, crystal clear, can't really get any better. hopefully will watch the movie tonight, looks pretty interesting.

video looks to be at a slight angle and is a lil grainy, but i mean the sound is absolutely perfect. great job, pretty quick too.

Nice release once again VideoCD. Video was pretty good. Audio direct and clear, experience a little bit of off sync, it could have been my standalone player. Movie was okay, not as good as what I had expected, Stephen King fans would probably like this one.

Watched this movie on my widescreen HDTV and I must say its great audio and great video..... but these fuckin assholes cut off the ending to the movie...... COMPLETEY SLOPPY WORK !!!! Can someone release teh ending or sumthing or can someone tell me what happened? ?

he, you guys funny, if you have WS hdtv t, well you get un bad AR cuz the movie is 4:3 letterboxed.

for the ending, the movie is finishing THAT WAY, no scene missing except generic, wich its has been cuted to provide more bitrate on video.

i've seen that movie in theater wich you should go see it aswell since you are bitching at something you don't even know.

k so what is exactly missing from the ending? i dont wanna watch this if its alot, even like 30 secs would be gay.

This movie had the ending - Through the secret window and down to the secret "corn" garden. What was missing was that when the camera zooms to the corn garden, they show Mort take a snap bite from the corn he was eating and then the credits.

The picture is not crisp whatsoever, it's very grainy, dark and smudged. Sound appears to be OK but definitly would wait for a MUCH better release. Plus the ending is cut off, before the credits so i donno if there's supposed to be another scene or what. VideoCD, stick to the camera you used to film Starsky & Hutch and quit experimenting!

video is grainy, and white. looks like near perfect ar to this guy's eyes in the sampoh. rating = goodshit.

audio is spot for a deaf guy source. rating = sweet.

Video 7. Bit dark, not incredibly sharp, but OK for a TS.

Sound 8 - Again fine for a TS.

Film - ? Leeching now but I'm not going to watch it until I'm certain there's nothing important missing at the end. The people saying theres not seem to be a lot more knowledgable though.

this movie wasnt as great as i hoped it would be, but it was worth watchin. the story was weak. it sure was alot of hype.

I thought this movie was just awesome and i'm glad i waited for the VideoCD release. The Pic definitely benefits from the SVCD WS picture, its a tad dark in places, but very watchable and infinitely better than the Verity rls. i've wanted to see this movie for a while and it was worth the wait. No other quams. The audio was direct. Oh except be warned... There are no ending credits the movie just kinda ends... Props to VideoCD for the improved quality. I recommend this movie highly

Looks good, most things has been said already, dark and grainy but I assume that's cuz how the movie looks. Overall pretty good video, and great sound as usual.

nice release on a mediocre film.

Video - very nice, good colour, maybe a touch dark but no real problem. The issue of the pillar box viewpoint wasnt gr8 but u learn to live with it.

Audio - good, crisp and clear throughout, although i noticed a pretty bad sync problem towards the end of both CDs, dunno if anyone else noticed this too.

Movie - what can i say, boring............ plot was predictable and by the time the end came along i just didnt care nemore, not what i expect from a Johnny Depp film.

Good quality, Pic is a little dark, but nothing too distracting. Audio sounds great, no need for another release until a screener/dvd.

the whole movie is there. there isnt another scene. after the camera dips into the ground the credits roll.
it was cut there to achieve maximum quality. sometimes you have to cut the corners ya know?

as for the darkness, i think it should be referred to as 'shade' in this rls. in the dark scenes, you dont lose your bearings on what is happening.

Does anyone know for SURE if the ending is cut off on this release? Is there anyone out there that went to the theater to see this movie? I have the VideoCD release, but I don't want to watch it unless I know for SURE that it ends without being cut off. I don't care if the end credits are not there, but I don't want to miss any of the movie itself.

I must say that this movie was quite good. really didn't know what to expect going in. couple plot twists near the end and good performances by depp and tuturro. As for the ending being cut off, i didnt see it in theatres but knew it was over as the camera panned down through the secret window into the garden area. anyone who payed attention to the whole movie should realize this as well!

video: 7.5 widescreen clear and good A.R. for a t.s.
audio:8.0 sounded great through reciever w/ bass that shook room at points

movie:good stuff! based on stephen king book of same name.

the end is there, verified from someone who has read the novella it was based on. although the ending was different than the movie, it's still the end.

Standard 'screener' ok video and sound, looked better on the tv than the comp, had the occasional B&W scenes with the scrolling mpaa crap as the nfo stated. The movie was meh.. too much like Fight Club but with Johnny Depp and the buttler from Mr Deeds.

Anywho the ending is indeed missing..
