Picture is a little dark. Sound isn't bad at all.

Video 6, Clear picture but most of the screen is missing and you see the occasional head pop up.

Sound 6, Almost clear through out, gets a bit choppy at times but not during any dialogue.

Film 6, not as bad as I thought it'll be,I don't think the director has seen previous films more than once, predictable and it's obviously aimed at 15 year olds, but for what it is, it's not a bad afternoon pop corn flick. Still better than Resurrection.

watched the first 5 min of the movie, and decided to go to the theatre tomorrow and pay to see it.

Cam has the appearance of a very rushed rls.
poor motion capture,blurry, blocky and washed colors, wicked cropped, crap audio , again hollow & hissy.

Flicks By Chicks - WTG on the late guerrilla rls! BUT......your cam sucks my hairy ass. (yes its hairy!)

This isnt half as bad as everyones saying, NOX cam was released earlier today and was 10 time worse then this copy. This at least you can listen to unlike the other cam. From the rars i checked out curious on quality you can hear the audience in this , has a bit of hollowish sound but overall 10 times better then NOX. If you cant wait for a TELESYNC or cant afford the theater , avoid NOX and pick up this copy. Better of the two out so far ...

as a cam goes not to bad.... but typical US audience loud and full of .....
yes the audience comments were really pissing me off ....
why do they have to make so much noise are they in competition with cinema screen for attention.

This one's not good at all, stay away.

carnt see this being a good film due to the fact its rated as a 15 (in uk that is)

think this is due to fact more of a 15 year old age group use cinemas more than the older croud ,its a shame cos gore is reduced to little if not any

dark/hard to hear/ looks kinda gay, i want alien to win

man i saw this in theatres yesterday it made start off kinda dumb but the fight scenes are awesome! I totally loved this movie i dl'd a sample from this and I decided to wait, theres alot of dark scenes and fast movement so your better off with a t-s/c/scr/ or if were like some quick dvdscr

Movie. 9.5!! i played the avp games and was a big fan of both alien and predator movies

2 bad cams in a row! this one is so dark, grainy, cropped and just jizz, u dont know wtf is happening at all. sound is better than NOX but still terrible. as i said, i cant tell wtf is happening in the sample, or the other rars because it is so dark!. avoid and wait for the TS

after watching the whole release....
i think there is a bit missing in the middle i dont mind cams and thought the quality was ok....
the film is ok but needed more gore and the story line turned shite half way through.... this could have been a really good film if they hadnt made it for children just doesnt compare to previous predators or the first aliens.....
oh well excitment over........
next film please.....

Giving this release anything over a 4.5 video is quite generous due to the cropping and the grey-scale look.

Audio is terrible with a local theater goer giving occasional commentary and a very hollow typical cam audio track.

Movie was pretty good though.

I converted this to dvdrw format hate swaping i boosted the brightness 20 and it looked so much better might look best between 15-20 but the sound isnt that great but its listenable with trebble down half way. Dont know if the convert cut off the ending but i got to little past where the predator makes weapon for the woman then it stops there but sound keeps going. thank god i seen this in theatres

Release isn't that good... and movie is bad, too. I'd say:
Video - 4 (OK for a CAM, but quality is grainy, dark, and way too cropped for me. I had a hard time making out some of the action.)
Audio - 4 (Audio is poor too... very hollow, occasional glitches, and sometimes it's hard to understand the dialogue. Also, being a CAM, the audience can be heard laughing and murmuring throughout the whole movie -- pretty annoying.)
Movie - 3 (I'm glad I didn't pay to see this! First half was boring, second half was ridiculous. They had some good ideas, but they never came out right. Stick with the original movies.)

It's watchable, though I would wait for something much better.

this rls was worse then nox's internal imo. i coulden't make out sceens and audio was shit. the quality made this unwatchable, hope some group does a TS today

After watching a little of both this release and the NOX release, I prefer this one. The colors are much more faded in this release, but I think this one's a bit less cropped than the NOX one is.

Also, the audio in the NOX release is a far cry from this one.

I'll probably go watch this one in theaters tomorrow since it's the only movie I really have any interest in at the moment.

If you need to see this movie, this release is watchable, and moreso than the NOX one, but if you're picky about quality, wait a see if a better release comes out (could happen like Anchorman where still nothing has come out weeks later, who knows )

As a cam: 6.5/7

After several postings about quality of this rls I wonder why some bitch about their time being wasted when they were foreworned by this thread. Although the reviews are all subjective I use it as a guide to help me shape my decision on which releases I should pick up. I personally don't think this was a bad rls.

6/5.5 (crowd noise)/6 - Again, ratings should be based against a relative rls format (ie CAM). I think most forget the format that they are viewing and hold everything against the standards of kinds like TS or DVD rips.

enjoyed the movie with all it's imperfections. Just remember someone took an awfal risk making this cam concidering the penalties involved. With such an quick and dirty release there's a need for compromise.
Here in the UK it's not released until late October..........i just can't wait that long, so i'm well pleased until a better copy surfaces.

the picture was watchable but where the movies set
means it gonna be dark anyway, the audio was average
except for the applause(do americans do that?) and
general coughing fartin an singin, enjoyed the movie
though and lookin forward to a tc soon.

better than nox in alot of ways. sound comes in a little late during the beginning of cd1, crowd noise is more annoying in this version, since you can a couple of people that are sitting right next to the cam chattering the whole damn movie. Overall pic and sound are better, just not much...

cam 5/4/8movie was actually pretty good listening to others I would have thought differently. but even for PG the action was strong and the effects were lovely. story falls off base a little but overall great movie..can't wait for the sequel.

Reality Is Only A State Of Mind...

Lighter than the Nox release, so much more watchable. Audio is underwater photography meets avi You can hear what they're saying, but it's like someone filmed it under water. Some crowd noise, too. It's still really watchable, so if you have to get one cam, get this one till a Proper is released.

This release is not worth it. Get the Maven release, which has this beat by far.
