The color and audio are very good. I wish I would've waited and watched this one instead of the cam. This movie will rock you somehow.

good release...great picture. audio, however, slightly goes out of sync for short periods of time.

haven't watched the film as of yet but i've heard good things.

It's a real shame about this as the picture is brilliant, however the audio is out of sync, it steadily gets worse throughout the movie sao can't be fixed

Video 9
Audio 3 because of sync

Audio goes out os synk from about 75 mins onward,
Gets realy bad nerer the end, better off waiting for a repack.

Posted by Cauhauna on 07-22-2006 06:17 PM:

proper?

Yes, definitely out of sync. Sync loss starts near the beginning and gets progressively worse as the movie goes on. Lets hope for a quick proper.

v:8
a:0
m:10

Posted by ambientmike on 07-22-2006 07:00 PM:

Video and audio glitches make it go further and further out of synch as the movie goes on.

Posted by ukiron on 07-22-2006 07:02 PM:

nothing more to be said
out of sync but other than that its a goiod version
just need a proper for the audio
thanks

Posted by barrywatt on 07-22-2006 10:26 PM:

I dont know why people are getting out of sync probs as the movie audio is intime all through the movie. Maybe you guys better change your media player or something. As for Lionsgate written on the bottom. It can be expected and the black and whiter can be expected to considering this is s screener. Anybody know what a screener is in advanced would excpect somthing like this. Good Movie

Posted by geoffbob30 on 07-22-2006 10:37 PM:

after reading your post i went back and checked out of sync using vlc, mpc and wmp

Posted by barrywatt on 07-22-2006 10:37 PM:

Im afraid to say this but this deserves to be nuked its mislabeled. this isnt 2006 rls its 2005 rls

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0424136/

Posted by Cauhauna on 07-22-2006 11:08 PM:

No doubt

No doubt about it, the audio is definitely out of sync. Whoever said it was in sync probably just opened it up, clicked halfway through (Where it isn't bad yet) and then said we were all idiots... lol. Maybe you should check the end of the flick, sir =)

Being shown at Sundance and Cannes in 2005 might be enough for IMDB to call it a 2005 movie, but I'm sure all anyone else cares about is when it hit theaters (and sadly it was only a handful of theaters even then). That was on 4/14/06.

Posted by patthewan on 07-22-2006 11:32 PM:

I've just watched this even though I knew aboyt the sync issues I wish I had waited for a repack

Posted by jakdos on 07-23-2006 12:01 AM:

Miles out of synch. Originally thought it was my burn on DVD, but eventually gave up on that and went to watch on PC. The original was no better on WMP10.

Def got worse around 65 mins, started going choppy, blocky, jumping.

Shite release

Posted by ukiron on 07-23-2006 12:04 AM:

barrywatt what media player do u use?
question
if its my media player that is crap & i encoded the film to dvd the sound should be in sync. well i put it through nero showtime and power dvd and the sync was exactly the same. i will convert it to dvd and i'll post my results later.

Posted by Moloko_Plus on 07-23-2006 12:28 AM:

Video goes out of sync towards the end for about 30 minutes. The video gets incredibly glitchy, then sync cuts out. Im using media player classic.

Video: 8
Audio: 8
Movie: 5 (Didnt like it too much, actually. I was expecting something else. The director just didnt get it right. Go watch the woodsman if you want something good)

Posted by ukextremist on 07-23-2006 03:24 AM:

HARD CANDY

I converted this with vso and watched on my xbox the last half hr does go way out of sync and video goes all jumpy

V-6 (WOULD BE 9 APART FROM THE LAST HALF HR)
A-6 (SAME AGAIN WOULD BE 9)
M-7 WAS OK

1.15 is the first glitch and it progressively goes out of sync from then on. The actual glitching is very similar to a dvd player trying to read a scratched or dirty disc.

I will try the converting to dvd, though I doubt this will fix the glitching...

Posted by mrchalk on 07-23-2006 10:59 AM:

Anyone who converted to DVD gonna post their findings?

Posted by ukiron on 07-23-2006 11:33 AM:

Thumbs down avi to dvd conversion

its a avi rls so i even tried playing it on the divx player the out come was the same
as promised here are my results for converting this rls to dvd vob files.

i knew the result even before i conveted it and the sync issues remain the same. start off slightly out and then gets worse as the films goes on.

barrywatt what media player are you using?
and i do know what an advanced dvd screener may have ie black & white segments ect they were just my comments on the rls.

Posted by Trabausius on 07-23-2006 07:00 PM:

As stated before, this release is totally out of sync. Sometimes i ask my self why a group would want to release it like this.
PS: Tried it ony various players.

Posted by SeeDee_MKII on 07-23-2006 07:38 PM:

barrywaat is obviously xanax, cos even a blind man could tell you, no matter what player you are using, it wont fix video glitches.

4\4\9

Its a crying shame that such lame grps like this get these sources. IF they had any respect for the scene, they would give them to a decent grp to rls.

Ok guys, there is really no reason to complain, I mean, sure, there are some sync issues, but other than that, its pretty decent. Sync is easily fixable, if someone posts the exact time (s) that it goes out of sync (i would find it, but dont want to spoil the movie), then you can just add some silence, or delete some audio to regain sync.

(**EDIT**) Wow, ok, there were a lot of glitches going towards the end. I think the sync problems can be handled by adding 2 or 1.5 seconds at the 1:23:27 mark.

Posted by Barloue on 07-23-2006 11:17 PM:

the audio is out of sync in this release and is due to the picture pixeling as it pauses the picture for a sec or so but the audio keeps going. then later in the film there is a bad patch of pixeling again and makes the release even more out. reason people arnt noticing this on computer is that they arnt leaving it to run through the film but instead skipping through and since it is an avi it is setting the sound and picture in sync when skipped through. leave it to run through the bad patches and you will notice the sound problems.

the actual audio itself is fine its the picture that doesnt match the sound on this one.

picture : 5 (due to pixelation)
audio : 8 (bit low at points)
film : 7 (not as good as i thought it was going to be)

Posted by jakdos on 07-24-2006 12:37 AM:

But you can't fix the glitches that start appearing around 95 mins.

This rls is shafted, end of story.

Posted by BLUE-NEO on 07-24-2006 02:04 AM:

the picture on this was great, but the audio was out of sync throughout movie, first by a millisecond, and then just waaaaaaay off...

9/2/?

i cant believe how retarded some people on here are.

the few people that claim there is little / no sync issues with this release really need to put the fucking crack pipe down and actually look at the screen while the movie runs.

and why in the name of allah would converting to dvd fix anything ?

Posted by Kw4kje on 07-24-2006 01:48 PM:

Sync is easy to fix. Go to:

http://www.xxxgayfacials

DL and unrar the MP3 file.

"Using NanDub open the video file and select direct stream copy. Next select (vbr)Mp3 Audio from the Audio drop down menu (a explorer window will open) and select the fixed mp3 file you downloaded, set this to direct stream copy as well. Finally just save as avi, it should take no more than 30-60 sec to do all of this."

All credit for this fix goes to "Dave" of XXXGayFacials.

Now the sound is in sync!

::EDIT:: The soundtrack is protected by copyright too, please don't post illegal links on VCDQ. Thanks. Links/names changed to protecft the guilty! - Neversoft::

If you still haven't watched it, it's salvagable, although only on a computer, dvd resync will take too much work as the sync issue varies.

Media player classic has an audio option so you can manually 'lag' or speed up the audio.

Click 'play'>>'audio>>'options'

Hilight 'audio switcher'

Use audio time shift and play around until you sync it back up.

For the last 20 mins, I had it set around 500ms, and it nearly completely fixed it for the most part. Better than nothing.
