7/7/? By Checking the sample looks good, besides the counter & "property of..." at the top of the screen not sure if this is throughout the whole movie. Great job on the speed

nice release great screener.. yet the watchability is very low..

the picture is great.. the quality aswell..
there's a counter (i can live with that)
theres a property thingy (i can live with that)

there's a HUGE blur barrrrrr from top to bottom..

and that ruins the movie..

i gadda say great release.. but like sweet home alabama (if i recall it right .. this isnt watchable..)

great sound and vision.. the best release yet..

Counters and property marks, I dont mind, but I abosolutely HATE blurs, it was a great movie, and if you dont mind the HUGE blur then get this version. It is good quality, other than the blur... Half of your screeners have them, look at their stuff and you can see. They make the whole thing real annoying. I give you props for the quality of the release AFTER you get over the blurs, but I do not see it as watchable. I will either wait for a proper or longer if need be for the DVDSCR/DVDRip. I dont care if I get flames, this blur is bad...

Like others have said I can deal with the the counter & "property of" marks but even if it was a DVD-R the blur bar makes it unwatchable.

I hate to say it but they might be on to something with that blur bar to keep copies down.

Props to VcdCentral for a release of this great movie. However, that blur is nuts, i didnt realize it went from top to bottom of the screen. That counter is weird and stretched, the pic is faded and the colors are tired. Sound is fine, overall this is watchable.

Im not 100% sure, but i just watched the sample on my pc, and it looks like the aspect ratio is slightly squashed horizontally..just look at the french guys face. Also, the picture isnt very sharp, at the part in the sample where the two guys are walking and talking, look at the building in the back ground and the trees..the edges of both are all jittery. The audio seems to go in and out of sync too (as mentioned) even within the short span of the sample. I'll have to burn this still to see how the aspect ratio looks on my tv, but i expect it'll still look squashed.

Not a great release but ill still watch it cuz i wanna see this again.
6 for being squashed/4 for sync/7 for no story but kickass action!

I cant believe people clowning this release. VCDcentral great job, especially on your contact who is getting these for you. For all of you people waiting for DVDscreeners to come out on this you will be waiting for a long time. How many more DVD acadamey award screeners do you think are going to come out. Think you stupid flamers. Academey award screeners on DVD were for the year ending 2002. All the movies released for DVD screeners were flicks released in 2002. So to see a movie with a release date in 2003 you will be waiting for a long time before Academy award DVD screeners come out for the year 2003 or until the pre-retails are released which wont be for a while as well. Possibly you might see some DVD Sales Screeners such as the new ones by Universal that are becoming new to the scene, but they have tons of Watermarks. Now in regards to the scrolling watermarks. Folks they are IMPOSSIBLE to REMOVE without blurring. So acknowledge the good quality from this release because now that DVDscreeners are going to come to a close until the end of 2003. In addition it keeps the supplier identity unkown in order for all of us to continue to get quality flicks. Also all of you guys sound like you are just jumpin on the band waggin. And on the flip side, any group on the scene would be fucking thrilled to have another supplier who can give releases such as this. So guess what? FUCK OFF!

Think Treasure Planet,Sweet Home Alabama Screener quality..and you got the idea of what to expect.

This is VCDquality... Not a release group ass kissing site. Everytime someone says something negative there's always some lamers (probably in the 11-13 age group) with the usual "let's see if you could do better" or "you should be grateful for that movie." blah blah blah

Some people dont feel like watching movies that arent good quality and that's why they come here, to check the quality...

Thanks to the people that gave honest reviews so I know to not bother with this release. To the others - just shutup already. No one cares what you have to say if youre not gonna give an honest review.

Hey, Props for the fast release... but there is alot of distractions on the screen. ie counter text and the blur from top to bottom. But if there was none of that is would be a really solid release for a vcd. Regardless a good release and awesome release speed... So as far as a free download thanks for a job well done.

Wicked shit i have been waitin for this movie and it comes out in wicked quality good work to these guys they have done a wicked job on shit maybe they can get rid of the timin shit but either way its still good

Well...first off this movie does kickass :-), second id give this movie a 6(cuzza the blur)/7(the audio is reallygood), third...since there just worried about the serial...if my memory suits me right cant they just blur out PART of the serial (like half of it...as long as its not identifiable(is that a word?lol) that would help and make it a LITTLE less annoying :-)

actually, i watched this release, the blurs dont really get in the way of anything, if u get into the movie, u wont even notice them, the focus of the shot never falls behind the blur. i really enjoyed this one. good flick. good rls too.

Ok im slow once again, but since i heard people raving and ranting I checked sample. First, props to VcdCentral on this release. It is a good effort when the best or worst shit is released. However, just from sample, and that deterred me from final download of whole movie, I personally wouldnt recommend this download. In my opinion, a blur down the ENTIRE one side of a movie is very intrusive and annoying. Fucking movie industry with their moving serials. You know how annoying that would be for the person who watches this releases in its original copy. If i were a reviewer Id tell them their movie sucked ass based on that concept. Anyway, fair warning it is intrusive to those folks who dont get samples or work their ass off gettin shit, as i myself still gotta do bout 40 percent of time. Enjoy.

Anyway, thoroughly enjoyed this release, bar didn't piss me off in the slightest and to be honest, I think it WOULD irritate me more if it was a MOVING blurred square block (Like some people have suggested).

Anyway, great release.

Oh and pHo... I don't like your new icon , not that you likely care but I prefered the Salsa Shark one!

The counter and property of things at the top annoy me! But otherwise, great release! Def. better than the HJS...!!!

i watched this last night, the counter is really small and the property mark isnt to noticable. i thought the blur would have ruined the whole thing for me but it didnt. after about five minutes i just forgot about it. sound is excellent, and pic is great(aside from the annoyances.) movie was ok.

WOW! I finally got the time to watch this last night, the blur wasnt that bad, I really got into the movie and didnt even notice that the watermark or counter! Al is the man, Handsdown! Excellent flick! 7/8/8

WOWZERS! I was happy with the screener awhile back, but this is a very crisp rip! TCF never seems to disappoint! 9/7/8!

The Recruit

Excellent sound, good movie, and 8/10ths of the picture was excellent. The blurry bar on third of the way in from the left margin made it look like I was missing a contact. It did not interfere with the plot or the action which would make it unwatchable. Counter is annoying but not as bad as the blur.

Movie worth watching, even at the cinema.
