Looks Great

This is the best release yet!! Kinda of dark but that is to be expected (Dark Knight) but picture is clear sound very good!!! I haven't finished the whole thing I am still converting will let you know later if it was missing anything as the other releases did. 8/6/?

LMZ iz Rite

Posted by T2U on 06-24-2005 02:28 AM:

Good Picture.... The Dark Scenes are indeed dark...Appears to be a scene missing at 19:28 of disc 2..looks like another scene maybe missing as well.... still a nice effort...Sounds very good my copy the voices appear to be low...The Movie..The real Batman has finally arrived !!! 8/8/7 (7 cause its missing scenes)

Posted by workz on 06-24-2005 02:50 AM:

The quality is better than Pot's and CameX's releases.

Audio is good, video is a bit dark.

However there is still 20 minutes missing from part way through cd2 (1 hour from the start) so still no full movie. but an improvement on the others.

7/8/ ?

Posted by victormac on 06-24-2005 02:57 AM:

This is by far the best quality out there. (From sample)
8/8/?
Having read the nfo i am also convinced that there may be two theatrical releases of this movie.
Having done a couple searches i see that some places post 134min and some 140mins as their rumtime. Ive seen 141mins also.

Will edit if i find more info....

Full release ?

This has good quality 7/8/8, (7 cause it's missing 20 mins) otherwise 9.

Posted by nullvoiid on 06-24-2005 03:05 AM:

Not a bad copy for a dark film, the sound is a little on the quiet side (explosions to loud talking to quiet), and as the nfo says there are 20min missing from disk 2 around 18mins into the disk.

There is a "missing 20 mins" release by -ind- but by the look of the quality and sound the source is one of the early cam's..

for a ts
6/6/x

Posted by deathdawg on 06-24-2005 04:02 AM:

6/6/? from sample, a little dark but looks watchable...

you miss the entire introduction of the costumed Batman, his first scenes kicking the bad guys asses... him capturing the **** **** and **** **** finding him strapped to a giant **** ****which which was the introduction of the bat signal, katie holmes character getting ****, the **** druggin batman, batman interogating a bad cop by grabbing him upsdie down and ****... ect ect... so to say you don't miss much is an understatement.

this release if it were complete?
8/8/10

instead
6/8/10

::EDIT:: Sorry fella, but consider your post "de-spoilered" (bottom line - yes, there's bit missing from this version too!) - Neversoft::

Posted by MinisterSin on 06-24-2005 07:08 AM:

Another incomplete

This seems to be similiar quality to the Corr release (which still isn't on vcdq???). I don't understand if these are from different sources how they are all missing the same 20 min segment (which as noted IS VERY IMPORTANT TO THE PLOT). I give this a 7/7/10. The only watchable version so far is the ADYWAN cam/russian ts hybrid (which I wish they had used the German TC instead of the Russian TS for the vid).

This is a decent release other than the audio being messed up and the video missing the 20 minutes so i'll rate it as 5/4/7

Posted by stezo2k on 06-24-2005 08:52 AM:

...

Anyway back to the saosin release:

6/8/8

Would of rated higher if there was nothing missing, shame

:: Read the rules, you ignorant slut. -K::

Posted by moby008 on 06-24-2005 10:42 AM:

dark video, also missing parts, audio was good.

6/7.5/8

Posted by serial thrilla on 06-24-2005 11:32 AM:

internal has a telesinc out also .. ive downloaded it and the quality is really good.. but like all batman realeses out right now .. theres missing scenes of course... 1 really important scene might i add .. but anyways i bet this is the same one as internals!

:: ??? -K::

Posted by bcool2k on 06-24-2005 11:44 AM:

I have viewed every release and they all use the same Russian TC source..Just look at the end credits. The first credit is in Russian and the only subtitle is also in Russian. Having seen the full release Several times. I rate the SAOSIN a lil more cammish than the Correlation encode. And yes the CRDS is missing the same 20min. It jumps from them loading crates at the dock to Katie Holmes wishing Bruce a Happy Birthday and as the spoilers said earlier. There is Plenty of Batman missing. Video is a tad dark and Correlation is about 1/4 sec out of sync.. Sorry for the long post, but i must reiterate that NO TS, ie NON Cam release so FAR has the entire film.

7/8/8

This must be seen in the Theatres to truly appreciate the Film in its entirety

Posted by BLUE-NEO on 06-24-2005 11:55 AM:

can't believe saosin would come out with this...sad enough ..we've got nothing but imcomplete after incomplete version....over all correlations version is the best so far even with the quish picture and 11 mins missing..its the better version

4/6/10 saw movie in theaters...great film ....best of them all..

I've only checked the sample for this SAOSiN release and it looks pretty much the same as CRDS release. Judging from the sample I'd give it a 6/6/8.

Watched full release last night...

Nice pic, a bit dark sometimes. But very, very good.
-=8=-

Audio was good, except for cd3. Too bad I was dumb enough to burn this release instead of using TV-Out with MPlayer to fix the auido.
-=3=- on CD3
-=8=- on CD1 & 2
-=5=- my average

Movie... It was good. I still don't think it'll be a memorable as Tim Burton's version (mostly because of the actors in that version). The missing footage caused a jump that nearly lost me. I should have just gone to the theater or just waited for a TC or SCR.
-=7=-

Fuck it, I'll watch a better copy later.

Thumbs up

this is a good release. a tad pixilated but thats it. cant fault the quality on this one as it being a telesync. great effort boys.

this is nice. very nice. but correlation's ts is nicer.

this rls: 8/9/stil havent watched

correlation rls: 9/9/still havent watched

by the way these ratings arent taking the missing 20mins into account.

...

:: SO CLOSE to actually following the rules. If this guy can do it, you ALL should be able to. -K::

Posted by bigbug41 on 06-25-2005 04:48 AM:

Pretty good

Missing Substantial amount of footage but quality is above average most of the way

6 = v Incomplete
6 = s A lil muffled
9 = M Best one yet

Posted by absurd-irc on 06-25-2005 10:57 AM:

great quality but the missing part is relevant to the story personaly i feel your missing one of the main parts of the film, still the best release and more then watchable for the casual film viewer. The movie itself is fantastic and well worth the cini ticket. 7/8/9

V:7 - bit dark, even on standalone
S:9
M:9 IMO the best BatMan to date

If it isn't complete, then it doesn't deserve the light of day. I keep seeing all the ratings, etc and it is all pointless if the viewer isn't going to be able to view the entire film as it is in theatres.

Seems that the first group to come out with a complete release will probably be praised for something that goes without question.

This is a great film, I encourage everyone to go check it out (while you wait for a complete release).

Missing 20 Mins

Hmmm... ok.... how come this isn't nuked yet for missing 20mins of playtime??

::EDIT:: Cos it's an "Internal" release, internal's don't get nuked - NS::

Posted by nutsinya1 on 06-28-2005 02:03 AM:

yo what does internal release mean anyway?

to comment on the release, i didn't watch it, but my dad said it looked good.

Posted by hainrs on 06-28-2005 04:29 AM:

The reason why there is 20 minutes of footage missing from all these different versions is because there are TWO theatrical cuts. The shorter one is an IMAX print and is missing 15-20 min. I've confirmed it with my own two eyes.

I understand that but like many things going on lately, the "internal" tag doesn't really hold much weight as they get spalshed about and are readily available to the public. So "internal" doesn't bear the same weight it once did. It's more for the group to wash their hands of any issues on the release and to prevent the NUKE. We all know there's nothing "internal" about this release.

how can they release a movie if it's not complete, doesn't the scene have any SERIOUS rules?!

ripper 2: oh ya that, well atleast the AR is right, and the bitrate is supperb.

WTF?!

I feel violated
