so this repack was usefull.. thnxx ..
pic 9
sound 9
movie miller time!
Thanks for RE: SAOSIN
But really...they should rub that rule out.
Anyone who re downed it for that reason, deserved it.
Didn't need the repack but thanx guys for this great movie.....9.5/9.5/10
I prefer Mpeg :)
Great for the repack it just makes the release perfect in my eyes. Every other group who was gonna make a release of this might as well keep it to themselves
The repack per se doesn't matter to me
But, since this is the version I downloaded....
Video: 9.5
Audio: 9.5
Movie: 9
Watched on a 27 inch Toshiba flatscreen via a Phillips DVP642. Mind numbingly violent, but feels almost like a ballet in terms of the choreography. Harkens back to some great noir films of the 40's or 50's. A phenomenal release.
Way to go Saosin.
Tom
just a quick thank you for the repack sao, much appreciated.
Beautiful Rip!
Thanks SaoSin!
Video:9.5
Audio:10
Movie:9.5
As stated many times before repack well needed...converted to dvdr mpeg2...and burned..looks nice on the 65". Sounds nice as well....movie followed the comic and was like a live action comic...allstar cast...great job on graphics and story...
9/10/9 movie kicked major azz!

well.....how should I start.
First off......Its hard to tell with a movie in Black and white....little bit of red and some yellow is as good a quality visually as one done in color. BUT....being that this was made this way.....I would have to give the video an 8.
Now.....the sound on the other hand was not as good to me as some of you stated in your postings. I watch all of my movies on my big screen with surround sound. With this movie......there was many times that I had to crank the sound up when the actors were speaking and then quickly turn it down when they began to narorate their story. Although not that big a deal....I have come across some better ones in my opinion. Maybe 7 to 7.5.
As far as the movie.....well sorry folks......not at all what I was expecting. From some of the reviews I have heard I was expecting a better flick. Just my opinion but I would give the movie a 6.
Props go out for the quick release.
Peace
Thanks for the repack, its nice to know there are groups that actully care and take thier time. On the other hand, i would have to give the video an 8 because as someone else said, its black and white with hints of colour. I saw the film opening day (great movie) and then i watched this rls on a 32 inch tv and the colour is washed out. THe "bright" colors are washed out and dark. But other than that this is a wonderful rls.
8/9/9
9/9/?
I'm just curious why some say the repack was well needed. Aside from silly scene rules I don't see the difference. I convert to DVD-R as well and having an mpg actually saves me the step of extracting it. And it's just as easy to burn an SVCD with an mpg as it is with bin/cue so IMO the repack is a waste of bandwidth, although technically required by the rules.
I Was very impressed with the quality. Watched on Large screen Tv, and was very impressed! Excelent work Soasin!!!! Great job on there speedieness , as well as quality!!!!! Keep them comming!!!

That rule sux IMO. Also you just have to change the extetion and que file to make it work. I realy wish peeps would figure out how to do things themselves
i had some synch issues in cd 2, but i think thats just my computer ... anyone else?
overall great rls for ts:
10/9(assuming its just my problem)/8
Packing it into bin/cue with proper tools will also stop people using the evil that is Nero Burning Rom to author it. *shudder*

Superb quality best i have seen in a long time, well done and thx
9.5/9.5/9....... i loved the film also
great release
anyone that complains about needing a repack should just learn how to use nero or made vcdeasy
Awsome work Saosin, just watched the movie and i cant find one bad point about the rls
9/9/9
Well the problem wasn't that it was a straight Mpeg, it was a binary CD structure, with a .mpg extension. The .cue correctly referenced to it, however, so those who mounted or burned it had no problem using it. That's why it's not nuked.
Yeah i noticed that too Skullwolf, and i couldnt get the mpeg to play in anything but VLC Player, Power DVD just spat out garbage sound and no pic, also Nero wouldnt accept it neither would VCD Easy.
But yeah i had no problems burning it via the .cue file, i do think this repack is kinda needed as ive no idea how Saosin managed to mess that last disc up, it doesnt look like something you could do accidently.
thanks for the repack, altho in my personal opinion this was't really needed as the original disk 3 worked fine.
I dont know y people got in a twist about the 3rd disk being a MPG & CUE Y?
9/9/9
this is the best tele...................ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

How is that? Nero handles bin/cue just fine. I'm not arguing for or against the use of Nero, just pointing out that the files being bin/cue does nothing to stop the use of it.

whats so special about a repack anyway??
does it save time from converting from mpeg to bin/cue?

Superb film, was alot better than I thought it was going to be, and you could defenitely tell there was some Tarantino influence in it. Could be best film of the year.
I'm also shocked at how quick it was brought out.
(hello everyone im dave )
::EDIT:: Hello Dave! - Neversoft::
Maybe it's just me, but not impressed with this at all - it would be great except for the fact it's only half a fricking screen!!!!!
What's happening on the other half of the screen then?
V - 6
A - 7
Film - not watched as per reason above!

In the previous release, CD3's .mpg file was just a mis-named .bin file. Seriously. That's why most players couldn't play it. All SAOSIN did on this release was rename the file from .mpg to .bin. But meh, whatever it takes to keep the nukers happy.
Great movie though. ^_^
Well I thought the picture quality itself was damn good. The sound was fantastic and the three disc thing didn’t bother me much because it just gave me time to get something to drink, take a leak etc.... IMO the movie itself was one of the best in a long time and had me going right up to the end. I was a little disappointed in the ending itself but that was just because I liked it so much I just wanted more. Once again another great job by SAOSIN, Keep up the good work.
Im one of the last to post on this but this release was so good it deserves every comment it gets. The scene would die out if it wasnt for saosin and a couple of more of elite groups.Great release saosin.
10/10/9
Good movie, fine video. Did anyone have problems with the audio? rather uneven, or is it my player..
Can someone please tell me how they got this movie to work? I extracted the bin/cue files for cd1 cd2 and cd3, and then burned the cd1 file using alcohol 120% to a cd-r, but neither my computer' or dvd player can read the disc. I searched all over the net, but they all say to do what i did. I would really appreciate someone's help.
OMG!!! Now that's a release...
