Should have been VCD TS

Had the chance to finally watch this movie in theaters after sold out friday night, saturday night and sunday matine's .. bigger then star wars?

Compairing to this copy (didnt even bother touching the CAM) to what i seen already, this sure isnt pretty.

The picture seems a bit overcropped should have been a 4:3 ratio, not 16:9. The colors are bleeding and the copy in general is blurry. After a few minutes into this copy the picture gets very blocky. During any fast moving scenes (which is half the movie) it gets extremly blocky like its going to glitch (whole screen is full of big pixels and blocks) but then corrects itself as it slows down. Sound seems in sync and pretty nice though.

This reminds me of a steet bootleg copy cleaned up with direct audio .... nothing special

Final Thoughts: Watchable but not pretty.

Movie itself was Good (not excellent), lots of action and funny punch lines but not a fav. Decent but could have waited.

Wow not what I would expect from TUN at all. Video has a decent blur to it and sound isnt all that great. I would have to say

Why would they fail at a movie we all had high expectations on them to have a good TS prob a TC as they always release.


Well i have 20mins left till i see the release.

Heh, TUN's never let us down, that's a good one. All I can really say is that is a wee bit better copy then the cam. The colors are super strong, and it does pixelate during a lot of movement. Overall it's got a slight blur goin on. I'd have to agree that this would have been better as a Vcd Ts. Audio is good though. I've only seen the sample and Cd1, but i'm guessin Cd2 wont be any diffrent.

From Sample Colors, looked washed out, blurry, this release is around what the cams should be, i hope the guys at TUN were just drunk and sent out the wrong copy, but hopefully SAOSiN will come through for us

uh, the only difference as you know in a cam an ts is the audio.Why would you expect better video from a ts?But I agree the colors are washed out, oh well.Looks like I'll have to shell out that 9 bucks at the theatre.

Ummm, I will skip this release.

The sample was a little decieving for me.At second glance after skimming through the entire release I see a richness of color which suggests to me the cam they were using had the potential to capture the movie in a high resolution but the cammer didnt take the time to focus the lense properly.So to me, it doesnt look dark and grainy like the cam released just out of focus.I agree with the a previous post. Seems like the cammer was drunk.

Pics not that good on PC - Once put onto the TV, picture is definately watchable. Sound it much better than on the other releases!!

from sample, can see the pixelation on a couple of bits, hopefully it's just the sample tho and not the whole movie although by the sounds of others that's not the case will update later with a rating after a full view. Sounds good as expected tho with TUN

Box on cd2 is annoying, comes in a little at the bottom of the screen (but in no way the entire thing) and just an annoyance really....sucks. how could they not catch that

Judging from sample this is one of the most horrible TS's I have seen in a loooong time (excluding the lame groups that always release garbage TS's... you know who you are... losers) and am very dissapointed in TUN for releasing this poor of a quality TS... Looking forward to proper now since the movie looks great.

.......just watched it on my T.V.. Video and audio is alot better than the CAMS. The blue box on CD2 is very tiny when it pops-ups, didn't phase me at all........

It would be decent if everytime it moved it didn't have some kind of grainy blur. The colors are decent just alot of redness and darkness. No doubt the Audio is good. But doesn't do release justice...TUN slipped up bad...

Curious , downloaded and burned CD1 .

Even on the standalone it didnt improve this release much. Its still washed out colors that are bleeding, its still extremly grainy and major pixelation problems during fast moving scenes.

This release reminds me of the old TUN (1 year ago) when they were tryin to proper VideoCD/maVen SVCD TS's using NY bootlegs and direct audio

Anyway Good Try TUN , Should have been VCD TS or even iNTERNAL. Shit happens .. Easy as ... *waiting for another copy* ....

Wierd No TC's from TUN last few weeks but ..

watched this on the TV tonight..

video is decent, not the best but very watchable. Colors are

not as bad as everyone makes out to be. ive seen worse, and better. this is a much better release than the cropped crap that correlation put out (props to being the first though). this has verry clean audio and the pic is slightly blurry and a little bit blocky occasionally but overall much better than the previous 2 releases. i will keep this release and if nothing better appears in a week ill watch this one.

not up to tuns recent quality good try but not for me i will watch a good ts but not this i will wait. i take it this has not been released in russia yet hence no tc shame but i`m a patient man once again thanks for the effort but i`ll pass on this one.

I think i am gonna pass on this one. This movie promisses to be to good to be watched with this video quality. The audio is ok but i aint in the mood to tune my tv etc etc to make this rls watchable

Not the best start to the summer blockbusters,after d/l the cam version of this, i decided to hold back on this version for a while, having looked at the sample the colours look nice, however there is a slight blur like its out of focus but just slightly, also looks like the person caming this may be balancing it on his shoulder, sound is the usual quality from tun very nice. Ill hold back on this for a few more days in the hope that Sasoin come to the rescue. bring it on Sasoin please

This release is not as horrible as everyone is saying. I watched it on my television last night. After the first five or ten minutes the picture seems to come more into focus. Everyone is just spoiled from the last six months.

V - 6 blurry at the beginning, some pixelation and graininess
A - 7.5 a little bassy, easily corrected though
M - 8 good movie

Overall this release is very watchable.

This release is getting a bad rap when it's not that bad... only the picky or analy retentive won't appreciate this one.

If this were the worst a release could get i'd be a happy person.

there is some motion blur but it's not so blurry you can't see, and the second disc the blue camcorder box does pop up quite often but it's no worse than watching something with a timer or subs you have to over look.

However I used TMPGEnc to crop out the camcorder box and converted it to NTSC VCD, maybe it's just me but it seems like most of the motion blur is gone now..... dunno why that would be but that's how it looks to me.

This release is better than the Cams out... if nothing else just because of the direct audio..... if your gonna grab one get this... cam audio just plain sucks unless it's the only option, and this release is very watchable.

firstly thanks to tun they seem to be the only group that releases every movie worth having as soon as they can but i personally think they have done a rush job on this one with no need to really as they have had plenty of time since the films release and no other group as touched it yet. from sample

i noticed a lot of comments about saosin or tc yes saosin releases have been of a high standard and a tc will always be better than a ts(nearly always) but at the moment i believe the best version to get is this but if you want great quality and sound goto your local cinema.
