From the sample it looks pretty fair for a cam. Audio is a little tinny, but bearable.

Video is a bit bright as well.

This movie is excellent. Saw it at the cinema yesterday and will be back to see it again tomorrow. Great flick.

the video is okay, looks a bit blurry on the pc, but i know it will be smoother on the tv so i gave it a 7 instead of a 6, and the audio is decent too, through surround sound it should be good as well.. i'm gonna watch the movie tonight..

after watching the movie, it was okay, but only gets a 6 from me, there was something at the end which i really didnt get, and didnt seem realistic to me.. but thats all i'll say so i dont ruin anything for anybody

I wasn't that impressed with House of 1000 Corpses but this looks quite entertaining (well, the scene in the sample certainly makes it look "interesting").

As for this release, from the sample it looks pretty decent. The video is quite good and due to the style it's been filmed in (seasick-o-vision) the fact that it's a CAM doesn't detract that much from it. The audio on the other hand is a bit scabby - it's loud enough but it's got the familiar CAM tinny sound but worst of all there's quite a distinctive echo which kinda fucks it up.

Overall, it's pretty watchable.

Just started watching cd1. The first 13-14 minutes are filmed at a really awkward angel and there is an obstruction in the lower right hand corner. It does get corrected about the 14 min mark though.

errr. ill pass on this one. looks a little blurry for me and audio has that annoying tinny echo to it. im not really arsed about seeing this flik so i mite aswel wait for a tc or dvdrip.

the samples not too bad but after opening the first few files there seems to be a chair in the right hand corner. the sound is also has a little echo to it. not too bad for a cam though.

As mentioned above there is an object down in the bottom right hand corner until the 14 min mark - there is also a bit of the twat factor during this period.

Once the cammer has settled it is fine.

As a CAM id say this is ok not the best rls the audio is a bit bad but the video is ok.
as for the movie seen most of it and its a crazy movie blood murder all that.

Quite good release not the best in the world but its a cam and with all thestuff going on at the moment with the mpaa we should be greatful

Watch a bit this morning and there is an angle to it but not so bad I can't stand it. What the hell is the object it the lower right corner? They finally move the cam just after the openning credit and it goes away . Then they have to cover up for a bit.

All in all descent pic for a cam 7

Audio is the hollow cam crap but understandable give it 6

Movie is good if you like this type I give it 7.5

The Devil's Rejects

This is a great first release. The video has a little camera fuckery at the beginning, a little obstruction on the right corner, and a twat factor. But all of those things are in the first 15 min of the movie. Nothing there that will ruin the viewing experience.

Video: 7 (a little blocky at times)

Movie: 8 (Liked it better than House of 1000 Corpses)

Movie : It was a good gore killer movie .
But the House of 1000 Corpses was better ,
where was Doctor Satan and that cellar where those others freaks where into ??
This movie was more like a simple killer movie , no horror like in the first one .

There is also a 10 minute clip of the begining on rottentomatoes.com that left me for wanting more.

WELL that was a fantastic movie! I love the psycho killer type movies, house of 1000 left me with a texas chainsaw feeling, which is good, but I think it used too much of it, this movie takes a turn cops chasing psychos and the experience surrounding it... this has more of a Natural Born Killers feel to it, some say bonnie and clyde, but NBK is more like it to me... that combined with the fantastic gore and ruthlessness makes this one of the best... ummm... horror/action/cultish movie ive seen in quite a while! This rls, the video is good but in some places turns to a checkerboard, i am pretty sure this is an encode problem and not the original source problem, but the picture when its chill its quite good and the sound is muffled a bit, missed a few words here and there, but overall worked and I understood the movie... 7.5/6/9

::edit:: due to complaints about the movie... if you havent seen it try to watch with an open mind, dont think 1000 and this are the exact same... its not... it takes on a more i guess real edge, and as i said a NBK edge... i dont see why ppl would be let down 1000 corpses wasnt that fantastic... but thats my opinion, and i stand by it... the movie is about 1 hr 43 mins minus credits, nothing is missing

::edit2:: Only ignorance leads one person to talk crap to other people because of a difference of opinions, i stand by all I say, and if you couldnt see the txchainsaw influence on mostly the 1st but also a bit in this ... then I wouldnt ever think you have the ability to judge movies... i liked it sorry you thought it would be something different then what it was...

I watched this rls. I have to say this is one of the worst movies i've ever wasted my time on. I'm still trying to figure out why i watched the whole thing. anyway, the release itself isn't bad. 7/5/2

was really looking foreward to this one. everyone has made the points, chair in the corner, tinny audio, picture isnt centered. i was hoping for something along the lines of house of 1000 corpses, rob zombie's last movie, this follow up to that was a real let down.

the sound is pretty crappy, but what is worst is the movie. rob zombie should not be able to make movies. 1000 corpses was crap and this was way,way worst. stupid throughout. if you want me to go into details, i will. i gave it 2 because it had some violence and coarse lang. love it or hate it. I HATED IT.

the bad angle and the obstruction in the lower right hand corner were fixed by the time the last opening credits ran and the picture was a bit blurry in some places the sound was a little muffled but overall very watcheable. I enjoyed this movie very much liked house of a thousand corpses glad rob zombie didnt do a copy or stick to the same scenario in this second addition i hate when a sequal is just basically the same story as the first movie. this a great extenstion of the story.

A very good effort first release from Baph, hope it continues.

Video - As with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has a fair amount of crop on it, definate tilt too as seen in opening credits.
The first 15mins have some form of object in the lower right corner, which thankfully is noticed by the cameraman....however there is a fair amount of shaking and noise disturbance during the moving process. Once sorted the rest of the movie is fine.
Colors are actually very nice, didnt have too much trouble seeing even in dark scenes.

Audio - Is fairly hollow leaving some parts a bit hard of hearing. However this is a pretty loud frantic movie so it isnt too much of a detriment.

Movie - A different style to the original, but very well done all the same at least imo. As mentioned by Weedchemist it definately contains some elements of NBK albeit more twisted. The best performance was from the vengeful Cop, he really was out to kick some redneck ass. The music score is also worth mentioning, nicely put together.

With the quality of an 80s porn movie, except you cant see emanuel spread eagled on the chair in the bottom right hand corner of the screen, for the first 10 mins or so.... Guess i liked the movie though, sounds a little tiny but the picture gets better unlike my spelling and puncturation. Will you really edit this mr moderator? 5.4.6 and this website gets a 11/10

Downright unwatchable. The obstruction in the bottom right and having to adjust the camera are all most forgiveable, but this is one of the worst quality cams I've ever seen. No movie deserves this.

Audio - 2
Beyond tinny. I honestly couldn't understand what was being said for about 1/4 of the movie. You can guess how much that takes away from the experience. On the good side the awful quality meant I couldn't hear all that coughing.

Movie - 7
Almost the antithesis of hotc. Very little comical elements, no cliche "stupid teens," campiness and/or flashy music video type effects. After seeing a few leave the theatre I knew it'd cause a lot of wah wahing from lame parents, neocons and the easily offended. I only didn't like the punch out ending, but I guess this saves us from fan demanded, straight to video sequels.

If you have any interest in seeing this do not dl. The poor quality detracts from it to an insane degree.

Video is pretty typical CAM, but has a nasty angle that can be seen at the beginging when there is text. Later on though this is not noticable. There is also a wierd object in the bottom right hand corner for the first 15 minutes of the film, but then goes away. Audio sounds hollow, but is still fairly clear and so it is not hard to listen to at all.

Overall, good release, and the encoding is perfect for what clearly wasnt that great a source.
