I hate all the blue in the pic, that just makes it unwatchable....
hydros is dark and has a nasty flicker.
over all the sound is pretty good from what I have heard. there is I thought a slight second of loud feedback from the mic.

pretty decent cam this by todays standards slight flicker and a little cropped but all in all well watchable,im a little concerned that its 7 mins short but hopefully thats just creds audio very good for cam.

the blue tint in the sample isnt so bad through the movie so dont just judge from sample.

Sorry movie king, but how can people take your advert seriously? How can you convince somebody that you can guarantee them something, when you cant even spell guaranteed?

Hi.

If you like horror/gore at all, this is a must see movie--IN THE THEATRE. I watch downloaded movies that are posted here all the time. However, the visuals and sound effects are a big part to Silent Hill. Plus a lot of it is dark, so you'll miss some on the downloaded version. I watched this in a matinee, and I don't regret paying to see it at all!!!

Watch SH in a theatre!

DON'T KID YOURSELVES. THIS ONE IS WORTH GOING TO SEE IN A THEATRE. The sound effects and visuals were orriginal. If you like gore/horror, do yourself a favor and pay to see this. I watch downloaded films all the time, but I DON'T REGRET PAYING TO SEE THIS ONE IN A THEATRE!

What a shame the scene is in such a mess that crap releases are given a score that flatters them ... why now do groups release total `crap` to try to get credit that they must know they wont get ...... for fuck sake ppl ..... if you don't have a decent release then dont release it ....it aint rocket science.

Saw it in the theatre, liked it so much I downloaded it also.

Considering it's the only real Silent Hill, it's worth the download.

Adjusting a few color settings on my monitor made the picture more watchable. Though the flickers may trigger a smalll epilectic seizure jk

Sound is not good, but it is understandable. Very tin

For anyone dl'ing the other silent hill (german telesynched), it is fake.

I just got back from watching this at the movies with my gf and I really enoyed it was the best adaptation from a game I have seen.
Its very gory and was only rated 15 here wheras it should be an 18 for sure.
I know it will get alot of bashing on the net but if you take it for what it is its really enjoyable.
It seems to follow the storyline of the third game in the series, and compared to DOOM and Resident Evil, theres no comparison. I give it 8/10.

And to all those getting this CAM, I would wait as a lot of the movie is either very bright, or very dark.

HYdRO's release - 4/4
SaGa's release - 5/5

HYdRO's release is a bit dark especially around the edges and flickers a lot (at least on my monitor; didn't watch on standalone).

SaGa's release has that blue tint but i'd take blue tint anytime over dark/black tint.

Dont Think u will get better cam of this. One of the better cams.
Even Dark Scenes not too bad for a cam..Sound is nice and loud and good for cam. Cam is pretty striaght.

All round decent rlse for a cam and i dont say that very often..
Grab this 1 if u in hurry to watch. Well watchable

Thug What Was You Drinking Or Smoking I Think You Saw Another Movie Then Me I Had A Pass To See Silent Hill On Thursday The Movie Was GARBAGE I Had A Free Pass And Still Wanted My Money Back This Was Worst Then The Hulk I Will Still Play The Game.

well judging strictly from the sample, i can tell a few things. for one the colors seem washed out but maybe thats just the scene in the sample, the cammer was sitting in the front row causing the video to slope upwards but its not too bad, the picture isnt exactly sharp, but the audio is great for a cam. concidering i dont exactly like saga due to the quality of their previous releases, im being honest by saying this is one of their best. if you cant wait, this one should be watchable.

video - 5.5 colors could be better and pic could be sharper
audio - 8 for a cam its great
movie - ? gonna hold off myself for a better copy

Watcheable, of course but still not for me, it bothers me too much.

Pretty good for a CAM, but most of the movie is dark and underground, and you can't see the "Hell" scenes.

Audio: Nice, pretty decent and loud for a CAM like previously mentioned above.

So...horrible...but what do you expect from a movie based on a video game.

The video quality was lousy...barely watchable especially during the dark scenes...the audio was good for a cam...but overall the total quality was lousy even for a cam...wait for a better release

OMG LOL this cam owns seriously.... i mean maybe not burned but watching it on PC is totaly good for reals... 7/8/8 the cam quality NOT the best but seriously this was a fast release and hardly any talk *inside job* anyways glad to see some crews gettin back up and going some nice fast releases...hopefully the nukers will take that into consideration

6 words SEE THIS MOVIE IN A THEATER

this was the most visually disgusting horror movie i have seen in forever, this made hostel look lke a 4th grader wrote it. The special effect sin this movie are AWESOME, and this movie is scarry. Not jump out of your seat scarry, but fuck with your mind, and your visual perscpectives scarry. The movie stuck very very closley to the game, minus the fact that in the game it was the husband not the wife looking for the daughter. But the is the closest video.game conversion since resident evil, and imo RE was not a good conversion. Bottom line See This In A Theater or wait for the screener not cam or TS can do this film justice

Im not rating the story line I gave the movie a 10 for overall. it was a scarry movie, it was georgeuosly visual, and it was over a good film, minus the ending which only leavs room for a sequal.

Definitely better than Hydro's Internal CAM. The video isn't too bad. Its dark in a few scenes, and has some slight blurring to it. There is one guy who walks in front of the camera, but no other heads in the picture. SOund is great for a CAM. There is very little audience noise. You hear a whisper, or a cough here and there, but the audio is very loud, and clear. Movie was decent. One of the best Game to Movie adaptations, but it was still a little lacking for my taste.

Saw it in the theater first and liked it. Watched it again at home to absorb more of the dialogue and details and now I understand the picture even clearer. I wasn't THAT confused before, but many of the "answers" are stated by the characters...

Great movie! I can't wait for a directors cut DVD

Couple annoyences with this release, there a few occasions where the sound is slightly muffled making it hard to hear whats being said and about 1/3rd of the way through i had some video corruption but over all i thaught it was great for a cam considering how fast it got released.

Well worth watching in the cinema, the special effects deserve it alone. One tip i can give though it looks much better on a bog standard TV than a PC monitor.

Movie: 7 (If you loved the Silent Hill games you will love this, if you didnt its still a great film to watch).

Saw this movie last night in the theater. I felt the movie itself left alot of room for improvement. But good effort considering the source material was a videogame.

Not a bad release, especially considering that it's been released few hours after the premiere. The blue didn't really bother me that much, maybe it's because I've watched the whole movie and kind of got used to it.
I'm DEFINETELY going to see it when it comes to the cinemas out here, and get any better version that comes out.

Video : A tad dark, but the whole movie is - maybe it's because I don't really watch a lot of cams. Also seems to be out of focus sometimes. 5.
Audio : Actually, quite nice. It sounds better than some "telesyncs", to be honest. 8.
Movie : The acting seems to suck a little bit, but the rest is purely perfect. Way better than Resident Evil. Maybe I'm saying that only because I'm a fan of Silent Hill, but still. If you like scary movies, you can't miss this one. 9+.

BTW : Due to a lot of dark scenes, I wouldn't say that this release is completely watchable. If you want to enjoy, wait. Or turn the brightness up to 666%.

Grainy, Dark, Very Blue & out of focus at times.

people who rated over 5 were you watching on a pocket dvd player? or ipod video? ok its a cam but a TS is a Cam with direct audio. so surely Cam and TS should get the same vid rateings? i think if this was a TS people would slate this release, so why do people rate this as resonable?

Where did all the good Cam's & TS go?

Not bad. One of the better CAMs i've seen. I didn't notice the cam moving, but it does have a slight angle to it. A couple times someone stands up, but whatever. I don't normally download CAMs, but I really wanted to see this movie and I was broke at the time. Great movie, gonna go see it on wednesday.

V: 7 (Little bluish as stated before, but watchable)

A: 7 (pretty good for a little cam mic, little talking, but nothing as loud as what you hear in the theater itself)

M: 9 (awesome movie, gonna watch it in the theater this week!)

from sample:

v 7 (pretty smooth overall and not bad for vcd. better than average for vcd cams lately. however blue tint lets it down and it might be a bit dark in some scenes, i think it also has a trapeziod effect to it like the cammer sat right near the front-center)

a 9 (for a cam this is probably some of the best audio i've ever heard. its verrrry slightly hollow which isnt bad, other than that i think it could pass for direct audio with it having perfect bass/treble and very loud. with a bit of filtering, it would actually sound direct imo)

m ? (i'm yet to watch, im sort of wondering whether i should wait for a TS becuase although this is a good cam there should be something like a good TS or a TC soon)
