Fuck NOOOOOOOOO, The Bengals fucking suck.

I don't mind The Browns, but the only time I'm rooting for em is if there playing The Steelers, or The Bengals.

Anyone see that Redskin Vs. Cowgirls game? Redskins beat that ass, LOL.

I'm not a NY Jets fan, I don't mind em, they did kick some ass this past weekend though. I don't have a team per say.

Gay American Rugby:

1876

At the Massasoit convention, the first rules for American football were written.

Proper Football:

The modern game was codified in England following the formation of The Football Association, whose 1863 Laws of the Game created the foundations for the way the sport is played today.

Unlucky. We got shotgun on the name 13 years before you. Besides, you don't even fucking play your game with your feet. How the fuck you can call it football is beyond me.

You have your sport, we have ours it's that simple.

I'm not a fan of Soccer by any means, It's a rough sport that's for sure.
Rugby again is a rough sport, but not nearly as structured as American Football, and not nearly as rough.

Damn Bengals rooting for them is a lesson in frustration.

The Browns should be having a good season. What the fuck happen?

The OSU game against Wisconsin this Saturday will be kick ass. Hopefully Pryor will show that he is indeed a first string starting QB. Good showing last week but this game is against a much tougher Big Ten team.

Good to see that the Columbus Crew (Soccer team) are in first place in the Eastern Standings. Maybe they'll actually have a chance for a championship this year finally.

Which means they hit harder. I played Football and Soccer(High School some city and Fraternity leagues), as well as Rugy in a Fraternity league in college, and I can tell you out of the 3 I was the most sore and tired after a Football (American) game. No doubt from my experience it's the most physically demanding of the 3.

Eh? Strange logic you have

Rugby tackles are hard hitting the same as yank football. Difference is yank footballers wear faggoty padding and helmets lol

edit:: Fuckin hell, i'm having deja vu writing this. I'm done. rugby>yankfootball

This is probably because, without the padding, you didn't want to put as much effort in to Rugby.

Rugby is for men, American pansy football is for girls

Hold on, Candyman said American Football is a rougher sport, Someone who's played all three, and you say it's cause of the protective gear? The protective gear should lessen the blow. Your logic is awesome.

I'd much rather listen to someone who's played all 3 sports, than some dirty Brit who know's nothing of the American sport. Not one of us said Rugby or Soccor is a pussy sport, yet you gotta jump in with this "Hate America" attitude and talk shit about something you know nothing about.

You're opinion is pure shit, Take the time to at least understand the use of the protective gear, and get an understanding of the game.

Those Bengals are sucking pretty bad this year. I feel sorry for any fan.

Well we got Pryor and Beanie's back as of last week, Let's hope this is a good game. OSU played better this past game but if we get trampled on like we did during that USC game, were toast. Wisconsin is a good fucking team this year.

Para yer fat fuck, try to understand what it is that I am saying.

I am saying that I know he has played all 3, but he couldn't have been playing Rugby properly if he doesn't think its the toughest sport. I am saying he only found American faggoty football tougher because he put more effort in to it due to him not being as afraid because of the padding and protection he would have been wearing.

If Americans aren't tremendous faggots, get them to play without the pads, then we'll see who the real men are. Rugby players do it all the time and they hit just as hard, if not harder than American Faggoty footballers.

I've played rugby and American Football. I love rugby its much more fun to play and to watch. I gotta agree with The Candyman. American Football is a much tougher sport.

So shut your pussy asses up and play the sport and find out for yourself.

In a two-point conversion attempt, the team that just scored must run a play from close to the opponent's goal line and advance the ball across the goal line as if it were a normal touchdown. If the team succeeds, then it earns two additional points on top of the six points for the touchdown.

I'm no spearchucker but

The two-point conversion rule has been used in college football since 1958[1] and more recently in Canadian amateur football and the Canadian Football League. In overtime situations in college football, the two-point conversion is the mandatory method of scoring after a touchdown beginning with the third overtime.

The American Football League used the two-point conversion during its ten seasons from 1960 to 1969. After the NFL merged with the AFL, the rule did not immediately carry over to the merged league. The NFL adopted the two-point conversion rule in 1994, prompted by its usage in the short-lived USFL.[2]

The NFL's developmental league, NFL Europa (and its former entity, the World League of American Football), adopted the two-point conversion rule for its entire existence from 1991 through 2007.

Six-man football reverses the extra point and the two-point conversion: because there is no offensive line in that league, plays from scrimmage are worth one point but successful kicks are worth two.

The Arena Football League has recognized the two-point conversion for its entire existence, allowing for either a play from scrimmage or a drop kick to be worth two points. (The drop kick rule is unique to arena football.)

Both the World Football League and the XFL made it a point not to institute a two-point conversion rule so as to eliminate the easy extra point kick; what would constitute a two-point conversion in other leagues only counted one point in the WFL and XFL. However, the XFL later added a rule in the playoffs that allowed the scoring team to score two (or even three) points by successfully executing a play from a point farther from the opponent's end zone (two points if the team could score from the five-yard line and three points if they could score from the ten-yard line). The proposed New United States Football League, set to begin play in 2010, plans to adopt a three-point conversion opportunity from the 10 yard line, while keeping the standard extra point and two-point conversion rules in place.

[edit] Defensive two-point conversion
In American college and Canadian football (as well as, for a significant period of time, the Arena Football League, where missed extra points are rebounded back into the field of play), an intercepted two-point attempt, or one otherwise recovered by the defense, or a blocked extra point kick, can be returned to the other end zone to give the defensive team two points. The team that scored the touchdown then kicks off as normal. This is rare because of the infrequent use of the two-point conversion and the rarity of blocked extra points, and also because of the difficulty in returning the ball the full length of the field. It has proven the winning margin in some games. Only once has an individual player scored more than a single defensive two-point conversion in a game: Tony Holmes of the Texas Longhorns in a 1998 game against the Iowa State Cyclones.

The NFL and the National Federation of State High School Associations (with the exception of Texas and Mass.) do not allow this, and a two-point attempt resulting in recovery of the ball by the defense is merely 'no good', although it can, on rare occasions, result in a one-point safety. This one-point safety is the only way a team can have a score of just one point during the course of an American football game. (College and high school football assign a 1–0 score for a forfeited game.) Canadian football, however, allows another one-point play called the single, or rouge.

Lol, yep I always said that it would be nice to have a NFL team here in Columbus but we sure as fuck don't want Cleveland or Cincy teams.

Heard a good joke the other day about the Browns. Know how to keep them in Cleveland? Paint a goal line around the stadium, they'll never cross it.

How do you keep a Cincinnati Bengal out of your yard? Put up goal posts.

Why doesn't Dayton Ohio have a professional football team? Because then Cincinnati would want one!
