What DVD are you buying next.

I have 3 I plan on picking up within the next week.
About a Boy (Hugh Grant)

True Romance 2 Disc Edition (Chrsitian Slater) I already own the Directors cut which is one disc but this is a must for me.

Buffy Season 3 (Sarah Michelle Gellar) I have season 1 and 2,I need 3 to round out the collection good tv show.

anyone else would like to share.please feel free.this helps me get ideas for my collection.

The 'Army of Darkness' 2-disc set was ace. I bought it before Xmas just for the hilarious directors commentary with Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell.

If you like Star Wars, get the EpII DVD, there's some cool extras on there.

That is the funniest director's commentary. It's almost as good as the movie. Especially when they talk about how Rob hijacked the set one morning so he could have a scene of skelton's pulling naked women in chains. I was on the floor crying.

The next DVD I'm planning to buy is Signs. Maybe this afternoon if I make it out of the house.

For anyone that is looking for ideas, you can't go wrong with the Back to the Future Box set. It's a good price and a great set.

I just ordered the Simpsons season 2 dvd today, it should be here in 3 to 5 days....

I'm thinking of picking up one of the ST TNG seasons, but at $120 canadian they're a little expensive...

Also the Memento special edition is on the list, I might go buy that right now!

If you're a horror/comedy fan they are a must. At least the 2nd and third ones.

I'm on a budget myself so I usually pick up used stuff. There's a grocery store near my house that sells off rental copies for $6.00 U.S. I've been scoring some great stuff, just got Donnie Darko, Memento, Excalibur, and Pee Wee's Big Adventure in the past week or so. The next new purchase I make will probably be the Back to the Future box set...

Posted by billymcq2 on 02-07-2003 02:26 PM:

Evil Dead movies.

Yeah go get them. If you don't , you suck!

I would say get 2 and 3 'cause 2 is really just a remake of the first one without the plastecine models! And it looks far superior.

Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell should be involved in every movie that gets made! Even if it's just to put a commentary track on the special edition DVD!

Posted by walldude on 02-08-2003 03:13 AM:

I heard that they were working on another Evil Dead movie but then Spiderman hit and thats probably out the door for a long while. Sam Rami actually thought there wouldn't be a large enough audience for another Evil Dead movie. Hopefully when he is done with Spiderman 2 he will reward his longtime fans with another Ash adventure. We certainly deserve it

Posted by hooah_punk on 02-08-2003 04:16 AM:

yes, yes we do deserve another

They are going to make an other movie, but it won´t be in the Evil Dead series. If u have the Anchor Bay Book of the Dead edition of Evil Dead watch the easter-egg where they release the movie, i think its calld "Halloween Evil Dead Screening 2001" when they release the movie. They are talking about some new movie but dont say mutch.

Posted by phoenix2k3 on 02-11-2003 08:50 PM:

check out The Official Bootleg Edition of Army Of Darkness

did any one realize that Possessed Henrietta is played by Ted Raimi {he played Joxer on Xena and is Sam Raimi younger brother}

Posted by NetMatrix on 02-13-2003 03:00 AM:

Matrix 2 and 3 of course
