Decent pic some pixilization and blur to it. Audio is clear but hollowish. movie is not worth viewing if your older then say 14.

Posted by Rep- on 12-27-2003 05:04 PM:

decent quality. the video is watchable, but not as good as some of their previous releases. the audio isn't that good tho. the movie probably sucks

7/6/x

6/6

Posted by vergoyer on 12-27-2003 06:33 PM:

I agree it seems to jerk like crazy on the slightest bit of action,
and the sample wont play in my media player but will in windvd

glad i got the sample first shame as its a really nice ts apart from this frame jerk

Posted by Mystic Slippers on 12-27-2003 08:30 PM:

Crap jerky pic. Cam audio.

Posted by crackerjax on 12-27-2003 08:38 PM:

well I turned off the movie early ... my daughter kept asking me why the video was moving around ... haha, even a 3 year old can notice shit like that ....

ppl should take the time to look at their crap before it gets released, would save a buncha bandwidth and a lot of time ... just a thought, unlike TCR for the quality, I wonder what happened.

I'll wait for the screener, or a proper.

4/7/?

Posted by captaindave on 12-27-2003 10:24 PM:

kinda pixilated video6 audio 7

Posted by Hrrrm on 12-27-2003 10:31 PM:

wtf happend to tcr
drastic fall in quality in theire usual stuff
audio isn't good, really sounds like a cam
video looks with weird colors and blurry

6/5/?

Actually Good

ok its nice to see someone , well almost everyone wanted to bash this release..TCR did a great job, just poor movie selection. Off of CD 1 , this comes on like a dvd version with the universal symbol and all and looks good...even the opening scene is amazingly clear and damn near perfect for a telesync, and the sound isn't hollow..CD2 is disappointing might have to repack. missing about 13 mins of the movie...need to nuke* the whole fight between hook and the croc are gone....besides that people stop lying..its very clear, if you hate the movie then fine..but don't hate the release by TCR its nice just missing a large amount of the movie.

video 8 pretty damn good and great colors
sound 7..no super bass or anything but clear and loud enough
overall the movie is about a 7...its fine but missing 13 mins between cd1 and cd2...big scene with hook and the croc..repack this or it will be a waste of a telesync.

Posted by Condor on 12-28-2003 04:49 AM:

Watched parts in standalone.
Agree, movie is jerky during fast movement scenes made me a little dizzy, looks like lots of dropped frames. The video quality is really good if there was no jerkyness. Maybe a reencode/repack would do justice to this release. Sound is fine.

Posted by frya on 12-28-2003 12:02 PM:

watched cd1 last night seems really really clear for a ts, sound is good too.
i cant see why people are complaining, colors are also nice and bright.
maybe some people are watching on a computer with not to great of a video card?
anyways 8-8-7
happy holidays :-)
p.s. cant wait for scooby doo !!!!

Posted by MTV on 12-28-2003 03:38 PM:

Right. watched the whole film. This a very good. good pic & sound bang on .. i really dont know wot you guys got but its not the same copy as i just watched. its as good as you can want from a t/s. as for the jumping *dropped* frames etc. there just not there in this copy. Only thing i can think of bmp encodes all films to divx this might of had an effect on frame rate etc. But films great please dont let the comments of others put you off d.loading it.

8 / 8 / 9 *dep on age,kids loved it*

Posted by RUiNU on 12-28-2003 05:25 PM:

Video is clear ,but alittle jerky(not enough to bash it), sound is a little hallow but just turn down volume on dvd player and turn up volume on tv. Movie was good nice departure form the animated disany version and slightly better then the hook version.

7.5/7/8.5

Watched all of cd1, the beginning is horrid, sound and dropped frames, BUT you only have to deal with that for the first scene or so. The rest of the time it is what we know as typical TCR quality. I'm glad I didn't wait. This copy will do.

As far as the movie . . . the movie is fine, it's just like the Disney release, however, the Tinkerbell character is just annoying. The actress's expressions are over exaggerated to the point where I just want to squash her like a cockaroach.

7/7/7

Posted by brr8760 on 12-29-2003 02:16 AM:

Picture quality (color, clarity & brightness) is superb, much like past TCR releases. But the FRAME RATE is seriously f**ked up. Is this a PAL/NTSC thing? Didn't have a problem with the audio, really, but the jerkiness/strobe effect of the picture is fatal to this release.

First of all..its only jerky in 3-4 places and its for a couple seconds..not a problem at all (certainly not the problem you all are making it out to be.) The quality is great, the movie is a dark movie and has a dark picture. so i think they did an excellent job on this TS. Audio is pretty good as well. I think a lot of people that are posting havent watched the whole release and like to just get their amount of posts up or like to get 'fame' on here..

7/8/8

overall good movie, check it out. kids will like it and i personally beleive that adults can enjoy it as well.

Posted by Heartagram on 12-29-2003 09:16 AM:

not bad , Thanks TCR - 7/7/8

Hey Now,
Sorry dude ... But I must disagree ....
From the Sample .....
Video - 7.0
Audio - 7.5
movie - ??

This is in no way a cam audio ... to clean to be a cam ... Didnt knotice any "jerky" scenes from the sample ... A little pixlation but nothing out of the ordinary .... I wont say great release but Ill say good release

Posted by agon on 12-29-2003 08:33 PM:

Video:
Good clean pic and good colors. The video is choppy only in a few spots for a few seconds.

Audio:
Very clean and know major screwups. For those of you bitching that the audio is cam audio your fucking stupid. You guys think because there is a hiss that it is a cam. TS's don't necessarily have to use direct sound from an audio jack and most don't seem to. The hiss goes away at the beginning.

Watched the whole movie on my standalone. Good overall release. Great Kids movie.

8 / 8 / 9 (depending on age of kids)

Posted by ams30gts on 12-29-2003 11:09 PM:

decent copy.

sound is pretty good but vide is choppy and a bit pixelated

6/7/6

Posted by Clessy on 12-30-2003 03:27 AM:

wow that picture sample looks awsome. Hopefully there will be a telecine soon.

Posted by Teknique on 12-30-2003 05:22 AM:

What is looks like is a vcd with a svcd header.

Posted by JustMe on 12-30-2003 05:11 PM:

hmmm, altho the first scene where the camera sweeps over the houses is choppy, the rest of the movie payed absolutely fine here, but on the change over from CD1 to CD2 there seems to be a chunk of the movie missing. Anyone else noticed this??

Apart from that tho, this is a good release with very nice colours and sound.
Yes, it has a slight blue effect on the darker scenes, but it's not too bad at all.

7/7/6

Not a bad movie, but it coulda been better. Def one the kids will enjoy.

Posted by andoo on 12-30-2003 07:23 PM:

Talking

i'm pleased - pretty good video considering it's a ts - sound has some hiss but i can live with that.

couple of skippy bits near the start of the first disc, but seems fine after that.

cool film too - not your average kiddie flick despite what other posters have said.

"i do belive in fairies! i do! i do!" lol

Posted by me101 on 12-30-2003 07:42 PM:

missing between cd1 and cd2

Just got through watching this one, quality is good, jerky at the start but once over this, the movie is excellent, audio and video up to ts standards.

The changeocver from cd1 to cd2 looks odd... as "justme" says, there may be sone footage missing.

cd1 ends with peterpan standing on the small boat saluting.
cd2 starts with a blueish scene with a fire.

Anyone else notice this... ?

6.8/6.5/8.5
decent enough copy, considering its the first one out, quick of the mark also.

Posted by lickmyzack on 12-31-2003 08:04 AM:

Watched the full release sunday night, Excellent clarity and good color. however, once again it looks like a piss poor job of converting the framerate from PAL to NTSC, and it's like that on both my PC and three other DVD players, framerate looks worse when there are fast motion sequences.

The audio is nice, and the movie well in my opinion was nothing spectacular. My kids started to watch it but lost interest about 3/4 of the way through and started playing with their X-mas presents. Personally i'd rather watch Hook for the 10th time, but hey.. if your a Disney freak then it should be right up there with the live action 101 Dalmations.

Video = 5 (Because of the framerate)(
Audio = 8
Movie = 7

The chunk missing, *the* chunk the kids wanted to see most, Hook vs. Croc, is wiped out by dancing fairies, missing, cut, gone.

On this basis, being as the movie can only appeal to the very young in the first place, this rls oughtta be *nuked*.

5/7/4

Posted by memoman on 12-31-2003 08:57 PM:

burning at 52 x the film starts choppy burning at slowest speed improves quite a bit even on memorex discs.apart from first few seconds sound ok. some noticeable pixilation picture choppness seems only at beginning of cd 1 so far.colours bright enough.will keep the kids quiet till dvd screener or dvd retail rip.

Posted by Jesus H Christ on 01-02-2004 02:24 AM:

What's with the huge variations in quality assessment on this?

I give it 6/6/5.

Rufio, Rufio, lol. Hook it aint.

Unhappy Missing

So does anyone know how much is missing?

Posted by romany magick on 01-02-2004 05:28 PM:

Because of video jerking around:-

6/7/6

sadly the content didn't appeal to me.

Posted by Stuart49 on 01-03-2004 01:23 AM:

Video and sound both excellent....not a movie for me though

8/8/0

Posted by frak on 01-04-2004 10:50 AM:

the frame rate is pooched on this movie. It's still very watchable,
just have to get used to it.

The audio is ok, little tiny and a slight hiss, but the hiss is quite
low - if you watch it on the TV, don't use your home theater
system if you have one and just push the audio through the
TV speakers and its hardly audiable.

The movie was suprisingly entertaining. Not exactly the typical
peter pan movie - some decent adult humor/lines in it.

video: 6
audio: 6.5
movie: 7.5

Posted by garvey100 on 01-04-2004 08:19 PM:

I found the framerate a bit suspect too. Picture good on the whole and sound is good if a little hollow.
6/7/6

Posted by TCBlueRoom on 01-04-2004 11:57 PM:

Poor Quality...

This was a very poor download quality for me. The audio and video were completely out of sync. The audio was fine, but the video seemed to lag and jump a bit. After a few minutes, you would hear something that you wouldn't see until 30 seconds later. Quite annoying.

picture seems bit pixelated

6/5/?

Posted by vinnyv07 on 01-11-2004 02:49 AM:

Not a bad release quality wize....the thing that brings this down bigtime is that there is a 10-12 min part of the movie missing at the beginning of cd2. And its the best part of the movie thats missing. So....this release should not be rated on video audio or anything else.

Posted by watsonuk1 on 01-13-2004 09:59 AM:

yeah this looked good for a first realse but there where bits missing all over that spoilt it really

Posted by BLUE-NEO on 01-25-2004 10:14 AM:

motion on this was terrible and missing 7 mins of the movie from disc 1 to 2..might wait for another version even though this movie sucked my brother liked it.

Well it is a telesync after all you have to remember its not a screener pictures quality is good sounds good, the jerking is a pain but like someone said it doesnt seem to happen all the way through and i think its just ntsc or pal in the wrong format so ill be changing it over ill post back and let you know.

8/8/not watched all

yep should be an ntsc (29.97 fps) you can all stop moaning about the jerking now.

Posted by DOBO on 02-09-2004 10:45 AM:
