I was looking forward to an English dubbed TC (Russian). This is not a TC.
Leave that to those Russians, the one I've seen was much better. Richer color; this one seems to be lacking colors.

wow i could have swore i saw the maVen of this on the mainpage with picks and then it disappeared.

The video is almost black and white! The sound is very good for a TS though.

I'll be grabbing the SVCD not the XanaX XViD as the video quality on that encode is awful

the russian TC isnt a tc there's parts where you can see a head walk across the bottom. This release is garbage they chos4e a dark scene for the sample because in the scenes where its light it flickers like a bitch

At this rate it will be best off waitin for retail dvdr heh

The audio in the sample seems pretty badly out of sync... is the whole release like that? It's one of my pet peeves, audio sync.. I'm not going to waste time downloading it if the whole thing's like that.

I'm noticing some really bad audio sync as well... Decent picture, but I agree with Wanderer22, it's not worth the time it took me to download.

so anyone who's viewed most of the dead mans chest releases have an opinion on wich one is best/most complete?

From watching CD1;

Color is very washed out and there is a wicked flicker in the light scenes, dark scenes look ok.

Audio seems to be direct but is 250-300ms out of sync (on cd1)

But with this audio and danks video...I'm good to go. lol.

Well, well, well, another waste of bandwidth. 2 gigs of newsgroup wasted. Video was so bad I had to shut it down after 20 mins. I also like how they mislabel this a TC. What a crock of shit. TC's don't have some asshole walk in front of the movie as it plays.

Sync out worse on cd3

If you make it to cd2, you'll find the sync out as much as a full 2 secs. Completely unwatchable!

Dont know why this has not been nuked for being out of sync...like mentioned in previous posts not worth even trying to watch it.

It's worth it. Doesn't look to me like anyone is going to come out with a decent copy anytime soon.

don't know about pukka being complete but,

it's a damn nice copy. I'm burning it right now to watch on stand alone tonight. Saw it in the theater last week, but if only two minutes or so are missing, I won't be able to tell.
