-Judging by Sample-

The Picture of this movie, the colors were faded , looks cropped but the picutre *widescreen* is nice and clear. The Sound , ermm it sounds like the speakers were about 10 feet away from the CAM . Has a loud echo to the sound. Overall in my opinion - I'll Stick with loGisTic.

Altho its a nice screen size and all that, id still stick with logistics.

colorless (only slightly ) but very dark flicker at points. audio is great if its a cam, but for a ts, sounds very distant, but quite clear.

anyways , actually a very nice pic very clear just a bit dark , cam didnt pick the colors up well enough ... but overall not bad, cropping isnt that bad either.

if sound was better, the release would be quite good

Checked the sample and would have been nice if they had made the aspect a little larger nevermind tho, audio is a bit echo echo echoie but never the less some great work by MPT as they have been providing some great work lately

wow they propered a real ts with a shitty cam..rofl...the pic is faded and the sound is horrible...and btw, i watched all of logistics and idk where they got 8 minutes was missing cause it was all there

I noticed on CD2 a quick Scene Change (probably changing tapes) on loGisTic's copy right when They left to enter the tunnel. I wouldnt say 8 minutes is missing though, and Still much better then -MPT's copy .... but ya i seen this nuked a few places now with reasons "not.proper.enough.to.be.a.proper" or "proper.not.needed". Guess the nfo didnt help.

i just noticed logistic release is 2520 kbps and there are 4 CDs
same with MPT
and MPT has 2000 kbps and they still fit 4 CDs

there might be more than 8 mins missing scenes if we think it logically

Nice Try MPT, very nice Camera work, needs a bit more on the sound to be a true "proper." ... like almost everyone else that commented on this forum on this release ... I'll be sticking with logistic's release ... prolly until the dvdscr.

Cd1 = 49 mins 4 secs
Cd2 = 49 mins 34 secs
Cd3 = 49 mins 4 secs
Cd4 = 44 mins 10 secs

For A Total Of 191 Mins 52 Secs

Nfo and Imdb Both State This Movie To Be 201 Mins So Looks Like Logistics Rls Is Missing 9 Mins 8 Secs

I Will Stick With Logistics Rls (Allthough 9 Mins Missing Is Alot)


This one has not to great sound and picture isnt better then Logistics

Yeah it's missing the end credits probably. IMDB lists the COMPLETE run time so if logistic's doesn't have the end credits then you can conclude they still have "the movie".

Personally, I'm not gonna take a ts of this film. But, I wanted to comment on the missing minutes.

From the reviews on this thread i must disagree with most of y'all, i can honestly say as far as the video is concerned, its prob the sexiest cam video ive ever seen and s 100% better than the logis video. I d o agree with AR and colour issues but regardless i still think it ranks top spot however the sound is terrible and very hollow. If only they had the boom mic like past CTP releases. I can see a few more propers coming but based upon CD1 ratings avail as follows:-

Video - 8.3

Sound = 6.5

Movie = 10.0

With this release, along with the others, it only goes to prove that MPT have to thank a certain friend of HcC's. a Mr Jimmy Tong from the local vcd market in little chinatown!
The audio and video quality of their releases have been dramatically different between them.
So boo.
Shit audio, average pic.
Stick with the loGisTic release.

ftf or logistic rls is better sorry MPT i say that cuz they both came from same source....by that i mean the same silver. 8 mins wasnt missing, it was a little scene that was missing, but oh well pic is ok sound is cam PLS NO MORE TELESYNCS of this

Logistic sound is much better and the video is darker in MPT rls than in logistic.
I suggest to stick with loGisTic. However, MPT many times releases very good quality, but I guess not this time.

Its is part the at the path of the death people, at the hole is dialog is missing.
german release
the german groups are mixed the 8:16 min(missing) from eso with FTF.Is was a good deal.
(Its not 20mins only 8:16)
No version is better than Eso with the colors.
eso is not so dark like,FTF,LoGisTic,MPT

Cartoon is right. Logistic's is missing a scene before Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli go into the cave. Its pretty obvious even if you havent seen the whole thing.

I will give this release 8/6/10. the picture was very good, and although the sound was a bit hollow i'd go for this release. You can watch the samples and stop in the same scene, then compair..you will found out that MPT takes it

Actually, krem-de-la-krem was RIGHT about the picture quality of this release being BETTER than logistics. Frankly, the colors here are rich & vibrant, as opposed to the dull, blueish tint of Log's. Sound is echo-y but not bad. I kept thinking I was hearing audience murmur in the bg.

But, damn, those colors are sweet. Good job, MPT.

hahaha got to give them credit for fixing the missing dialog. The sound sounds the same through both releases. And the picture quality well its nice but nothing your PowerDVD couldn't fix by its self.

Though I had to get this release because 8 mins of missing dialog is alot even though I went to the theaturs I like watching it over and over

Props for the nice Proper. Though im not going to fight between loGisTic's and MPT because there was room for a proper and they did it.

Watch the full mov b4 posting about it missing scenes on Logistic's rel it was missing a part on cd2 i saw it it skips real fast and it is not a important part and Logistic rocks so grab that

Ok, so, it is only a bit better than Logistic, video wise. But still, the sound is quite awful. Almost gay. Understandable for a Telesynch though. Oh well, this movie screams for a DVD screener. Until then I am looking for other better CAM's. Good try MTP anyay.

I have no doubt regarding these telesyncs...
MPT release is without doubt the best seen till now...
Resolution is ok, as the cinemascope dimensions, colours saturation is much better than logistic.
i think all of you should have a look to the sample, the jpg image is not so clear....
Audio is not a problem for me, i'm italian and expect to release of the film in cinemas on january.... lol

The Logistic release is missing about 3 1/2 minutes of footage on CD-2 at about 34:08. It's right after Elrond gives Aragorn the sword and he rides off to find the army of the dead. There are two scenes during this 3 minute period. The first with Eowyn and her father where he asks her to return home and be happy. The second scene is with Legolas, Gimli and Aragorn riding to the doorway.

You can find these 3 1/2 minutes on the Esoteric VCD (Disc 2 from 12:40 to 16:08).

I didn't notice any other missing footage.

ARE PEOPLE MAD

First off nice pic for MPT..yet again another flop up on labeling this....its a CAM...please label CAM...people are talking and mumbling the whole 1st cd..I downloaded all four and I'm pissed off. Ok the pic is better so what. We want to discuss missing point..why does this version skip the beginning and opening intro and credits and goes straight to the lake scene..while people are mumbling. The sound is beyond hollow and only gets loud during the music. Its not watchable and very annoying. MPT it seems you guys are slipping up. You've releases 2 horrible copies of the 2 best movies. Last Samurai with that horrid picture. And return of the king with this shakey camera and annoying audio with crowd chatter. CAM PEOPLE CAM PEOPLE just like the two towers..back in the day..

video 8..great cam..just mislabeled and a little shakey sometimes.
audio..2...hollow and the crowd needs to stfu...not direct..
overall the movie is a 10+..just not this copy

Logistic still the best..so far...stick with it.
