The Butterfly Effect - TELESYNC - FTF

FTF has had better releases recently. This one however bites the dust.
The picture and colors are dull. It is also relatively dark. The audio has a very noticable hiss in it. Definitely would wait for another release.

It looks like a sweet movie, hope to see it in the theater sometime soon

Terrible. I rather wait on a better, real telesync. The video is very dark and the audio has this horrid hiss. As for the movie seen it in theaters excelent movie friends wanna see it so i will pass for sure till another copy comes along.

Yea for sure FTF has had better releases lately but now this one really does not measure up to what they have been...the audio is bad....but ti was a good movie

Not the worst release I've ever seen, but it still isn't very good.

Picture is dark and dull and colors look like crap. Audio has terrible hiss to it.

From the looks of things they took - Butterfly.Effect.CAM-FuckYourSelf , (released last night) and cropped the top and bottom , filtered the sound a bit and released as a TS. Well this is definatly a misslabled CAM and it looks like crap. I coulda did that can i join FTF .

I hope someone will nuke that if you looking the cd 1 at 36min 30 sec the video skip and we loose more then 15min
if you looking the running time from that release you will see its around 1h30 and the running time of that movie are more then 1h50 DAMN LOOSER FTF !!!!

Actually, it was a good movie i saw it friday night on a whim. the concept was good. when i woke up saturday i was checking this site for the release all threwout the day . it definitly needs to be watched in a better version then the one that just came out. but if u cant wait then o well.....

I would have been able to tolerate the pic, but the sound. Oooo-weee. Not nice. Hissing without speach and when speech, it is pretty damn muffled.

People you need to remember that FTF is silver group so you can not expect the same quality every time. "Fact" they get all of there silvers from the ny street. So for that $5 they get what they get i have payed for a few of those silvers before and had them in my hands days before a group released it on the net. tcr is just as guilty in using ny silver and claiming them to be telesyncs. I think in 2003 i seen more mislabled Telesyncs then i have seen in years.

eew... picture quality is decent at best. pretty bad. really fuzzy and pretty badly dark. at least it's widescreen.

sound? horrible. the worst i've heard in a long time. extremely hollow and alot of fuzz/interference.

I would definately wait for a better release of this one. I saw this movie last night and judging by sample, this release doesn't do the flick any justice at all.

Ftf's thing was shit..... very very pale...

Now on a side now, I paid to go see this, yes folks, something called money.... It was a very very good movie worth seeing in the theaters. AShton Kutcher was good in this. Acting in a few points were a tad weak, but most of it was great. Movie kept you into it the WHOLE way. With that said, the moral here is go see it. Save up money in your piggy bank, or sneak in, but fuck a cam folks.. The cam is horrific. Only thing do this movie justice is a screener and one aint coming for long time... so go to the theaters.

Just by the number of posts on this movie should be enuff to tell anybody this movie was the shiot ! CRitics are IDoiots!! - who listens to them anyway ? im the only critic as far as im concerned - That movie rocked - and i would go and spend another 10 bux to see it ... just the fact that everybody is so upset to see that bad copy is enuff to do it justice right there. It was a little bit confusing but any true movie watcher would not have a problem understanding the movie if they watched it. I say wait for the good copy and then rate it , or if u cant wait just get ur lazy but to a theater and see what the light of day looks like again. !

I don't normally download samples nowadays I just go straight for the movie instead, but the posts in here compelled me to look for myself...

First, the video is washed out, it's cropped and the AR is wrong but that could be forgiven if the audio was ok. In actual fact, it sounds fuckin' horrible, you get better audio from a broken long wave radio. The film kinda looks ok so I'll be seeing it in the cinema before I watch a bootleg anyway, but I'd rather fist myself with a boxing glove than watch this release.

ok, i lied, the video is absolutely horrid and the sound is disgusting. it is true that the ar is very messed up and it is very cropped, i wouldnt doubt this being a silver. ftf was starting to have good releases (chasing liberty), but it looks like theyre going back to their old ways...what a shame.

Props on speed FTF. Basic FTF quality, staticy audio and washed out color. Exceptionaly dark also. Movie was mildly interesting, had potential but sputtered out.

My how you come down hard on FTF. Giving it a 1 for video and audio??! The picture is slightly cropped, and the gamma is turned up too high, giving it a look of a white "film" over the whole picture. It does help in the dark scenes, but the pic is still pretty dark. Its hard to make out what happens in some of the dark scenes. The sound is slightly muffled. Its Closer to say...Chasing Liberty than to Stuck on You. Its understandable but has a slight hiss. Oh, and maybe it was just the one channel, but i got two CD2s, but they were labeled CD1, and CD2. Had to find it a second time. Havent watched the complete release, but from what i've heard it is supposed to rock.

Well I just saw this release in theaters tonight with my girl, and I can vouch for it, it was an excellent movie, we enjoyed it.

And from seeing a nice vivid colorful movie to seeing the sample on this piece of garbage, I can tell you its extremely cropped with a abad AR. Nice work FTF!!

Video: Pale, Dark, CROPPED AND BAD AR.
Audio: Sounds like a camera wrapped in a garbage bag pointed in the opposite direction.
Movie: 8/10

There's one thing I don't get. Why the hell do people, who went to the cinema to watch this movie, come here and start talking about this? This forum is for the discussion of the respective releases, not of the movies themselves! Half the people above wrote crap like "I went to the cinema last night and I liked the movie." Great, now that's interesting...NOT! If you can't download a movie on your goddamn modems, then stay away from the forum, go to rottentomatoes.com or some place else and talk there about the movie.

ok, so here are my two euro cents about this release: it's a perfect TS, all of you who complained are just spoilt brats, buying cinema tickets from your daddies' money and then bitching around without knowing what you are talking about, 'cause you just downloaded the mpeg sample or just looked at the jpeg picture. Then you come here and start babbling around as if you knew what you are talking about.

I downloaded and watched the whole release and in my opinion it's

7 for video quality. yes, 7! watched it on tv through an mpeg hardware decoder and quality is very good due to the tv's natural antialiasing. it's your own goddamn fault if you watch the releases on your monitor through some stupid software player.

6 for audio. what hiss are you talking about? audio quality is very good! as I said before, you are just spoilt brats, you want to have screener quality, and if it's not, you start bitching aroung, calling it a CAM. ridiculous!

5 for the movie itself, it's not exactly stupid, but I wouldn't go so far as calling it intelligent. but there's some suspense in it, so if you haven't got anything to do, then go ahead and watch it.

well i think that this release could have been a lot better sounds sux and picture is not that good didnt even want to watch it i will wait for a better release. Cause i hear the movie is good.

The movie skips on the first part, I'm not sure how much it does but it jumps and you just don't know what the shit is going on, I haven't finished watching it yet.. probably get the Fujitive release...
