Theres no need to offend anyone's family or a group becuase you dont agree with their label or release, FTF release their movies to the public, as of the time of this release there was no other version of this movie out. As for the TS label? FTF label it a TS cuase it was done with a direct audio source, if you saw the movie you noticed that no-one is coughing / laughing or any other audio interuption. there are some audio gaps, but that happens only when you have direct sound. most of the latest TS from TFE have had sound problems and if you noticed a few releases done by CTP lately also had problems, one was out of sync badly the other you had to lower the treble all the way just to understand what they were saying. I am not saying anything bad about CTP, I respect them and i know they ARE one of the BEST group in the scene today. But even direct audio has its problem. remember while everyone else was hiding in a cave we was the onlyones to keep these movies rolling, FTF will keep releasing and will continue to try to improve on our releases, for those of you that dont like our release just dont download them and it will save you the headache. and those of you that have supported us, Thank You.

archdemon, they released it because no one else did, they help contribute to the scene, they help it grow by releasing it faster than other groups... it helps everyone out actually, it brings up the factor of competition in getting releases out faster, it's a good thing. I just don't think what the scene needs is more people to complain about a poor release, give constructive criticism, I give props to HBO/FTF for releasing this. Keep up the work guys, if you downloaders still want to get releases then help out the scene, work together, don't whine and discourage the groups.

Heh...despite all previous remarks, I think the release is decent. Remember it's the first release of "A Walk To Remember" of probably many (there might even be a DVD Screener on the way...who knows?). Look at the "Ocean's 11" releases and how the quality progessed for those. It started with a cam, ended with a DVD quality release. Until we get a screener, this is the best we have, and I say we stop bitching and just enjoy what we can get.

Everyone needs to relax

This forum seems to be about rating the quality of releases. It does sometimes spill over into talking about the general releases of the current group. To me, that is not a bad thing. I also think that every release can't be perfect and there is some merit in releasing movies early. However, FTF has a habit of releasing crap. I don't know any other way to say it. Look, this group's first release was the single worst release I have seen in my 2 years of doing this...Vanilla Sky. It is one thing to release crap. It is an entirely different thing to release crap that is missing 15 minutes. FTF's latest screeners have been OK, but again that is where I say that their screeners are awful compared to other groups screeners. And I don't mean SVCDs versus VCDs...not every group can get kick-ass DVD rips. I mean VCR screener rips coming from FTF do not live up to the same standards as from other groups. Arachnid and Bones were terrible...Domestic Disturbance was very nice, but it was probably the only watchable movie FTF has ever put out.

As far as this particular release, at least this is the entire movie...but the sound is pretty bad and the picture is horrible. However, as I said earlier, there should be some credit for having the first release, and kudos to FTF in that regard. I'll be looking forward to a better release of this one.

FTF / HBO etc have always been a group to get a film out there as fast as possible. Thats what their "quadrent" of the scene is. They get the movies out quicker than 99% of everyone else. Yes, we all have a laugh at their expense, but nobody else is willing to do what they do, so let it be. If you want a good print, then don't bother with Cams/TS' full stop. I dont. Unless theres something i want reaall bad, then i MIGHT grab a TS. At the end of the day, i can wait and get the Screener / DVDscreener before the film hits my theaters anyway, so i couldn't care less.

Just because some ones opinion differs to yours doesn't mean you have the right to take a swing at them. Maybe we should limit people to only being able to comment once per thread? or maybe i should make my work tenfold and moderate the whole damn forum? This means i'll have to check thru each post b4 it arrives on the screen. This sucks for you, and it'll hella suck for me, but if you don't stop bitching at each other, its what i'll have to do.

I'm willing to let this go for this time, i honestly haven't got the time and effort to delete the flames from before, but if i see anyone bitching again, i'm gonna start warning/banning people, because i dont have the time to edit this shit all day. I hope this is understood, and we can make this forum a friendlier place to be. Don't forget that this is a public/open forum, so ANYONE can join. This means a lot of people who are only just "getting into the scene" will be here, and instead of showing them that the scene is full of elitest assholes, try showing them a guiding hand. Who knows, maybe one day you'll be leechin the shit they put out. Everyone's gotta start somewhere.

It seems to me that what's fucking up this forum is either complacency - just because we've been spoilt by a recent flood of DVD screeners doesn't mean we should expect every release from now on to be of equal quality - or it might just be a bunch of stupid brats who expect the moon on a stick. It's obvious that there's some people here who, if I were to stick a bunch of DVDRs of the best quality releases through their letterbox, would complain that my handwriting on the label wasn't neat enough.

Let's look at some recent whinges:

Why do these scenes start? To provide things that you don't have to buy, and especially in the case of movies give you a way to watch it at home instead of paying the theatre entrance fee every time. If all you want to do is see the movie, rather than keep it forever and show it off to your friends to prove how hardcore you are ('cos of course "hardcore" is sitting on IRC for a week making sure you've got all of those 157 RAR files), then a cam is fine. So the audio contains people laughing at the jokes and the video shows people getting up to go for a piss? That's exactly what you'd have experienced if you'd been sitting in the same seat, but no doubt you'd feel great because you'd "seen it on the big screen".

but like think about it? none of you are takin the time, effort, or risk to release movies that 90 percent of the world cant watch in their homes for like 4 or 5 months after you already did. so quality doesnt matter... i love my dvd screeners and all but just think about it... your getting movies at the risk of someones job,
and the risk of someones freedom, cause they are pretty illigal, so just think about it. this site is here to tell you the quality before you go and download the movies... so if you want to see somethin bad enough... deal with it... or else be educated and check the ratings and samples before you go and download it.

The quality of the picture is alright, but the sound definitely does suck, but with the amount of "new" movies being released right now, I'll take what we can get. Unless the other's start release the "stuff" take what we can get!!..

ok, first off, let me state ONLY RELEASE here.

FTF, great job. The video is watchable, a little cropped, but still definatly watchable. As for the timing, u guys still never cease to amaze me, being the first (and only) group to release and doing it just days after theatrical release. GOOD Show

The sad fact is that this ts is probly one of your worse efforts, not the worse, but bad. it definatly does not do justice to this flick. but like i said, still watchable.

my advice....If u wanna really see the movie..pay the friggen 10 bucks. if u just wanna check it out before u pay for anything, this is worth the 900-some megs, and if u don't wanna see the movie don't dl it and don't bitch.

But honestly, take your girlfriend to see this @ the theater, it's a great movie, and worth the money. plus, it will score u points.
