I never thought I would say this but FTF's is still the best. Picture looks blury from the sample and I watched FTF's and was very very impressed.

Comment on quality on detail?

Well, obviously the last few people to rate gave this movie a quality of 1/1/X because it went from 7/7/X with 6 votes to 5/5/X with 9 votes.

So, apparently this release is absolute shite, but can anyone say why? The FTF release had poor color and less than crappy sound. While I don't think a TS should ever warrant a 3CD SVCD, with that beef aside, I'd like to know exactly what makes this release worse/better than FTF in any way (except for the 3CD SVCD TS part).

And if you're going to respond and enlighten me, make sure you've actually seen this release, I don't want to hear any comments on the jpegs, even the sample isn't always an accurate representation.

um now if we can only get the ftf video and this one's sound then we be dancing like nakees

quality isnt good but like some sauid before the sound is good, maybe someone can hook the sound up from this one and the video from ftf's and we'd be set on a decent rls but hopin we get a screener from the awards.

My opinion if it isnt a DVD source why make it SVCD?..even a quality made VCD ripped from DVD looks as good as a SVCD..waste of hard drive and discs

Pretty poor and a waste of 3CD's, but hey ive saw worse.

i'm really starting to get pissed off with this forum....all you stupid retards flamin this new group....its a new group give them a chance woww this isn't a rencode if u take the time to look at it and not just the jpg u can figure that out...it could have been the same source as ftf but whos noes its no rencode...as for the svcd issue i think svcd is better...read the nfo "we decided to do svcd becuz its a kickass movie and it deserves it" and you no wat they are totally right..i dun't understand u ppl the ftfs version color was all faded and the sound dun't even get me started on that...if the name on this rls read C*T*P* u would all be shooting a load in ur pants and all screamin...this is 20x better than ftfs...and take it cuz its for free and its 4 days b4 the movie is in theathers so u all should STFU!!!

Actual Quality

So does this release have better sound than the FTF one? From the posts it seems it does, but from the rating board, the sound is rated waaaaaay lower.

Also, the jpegs certainly look like they've got better color than the FTF, so is the video on this actually worse than FTF? Or does it have such a shitty low quality rating simply because it's a 3CD SVCD TS (which is unecessary)?

Can somebody actually compare the two releases for me, regardless of format or size, just compare the quality if I were to sit down and watch both of them side by side, which one is better?

by the look of the jpg it looks terrible and i would not waste the time d/l since we all d/l ftfs version which was really good . As for svcd hmmm let me think its stinks so vcd of ftf is better!

Alright, heres the deal with this release:
Video- 4 (congratulations, svcd of a vcd-worthy release!!11)
Audio- 5(atleast I hear something...)
Movie- ?

The video was truly deserving of VCD, and not this stunt trying to prove you are one to look for with SVCD. Colors were dim, like after you wash nice shiny, colorful clothes with bleach. I wish I could give a review of the movie, the trailers are intriguing, but obviously I will need to see something more watchable than this before that ever happens....
