Good to see VideoCD back in action... .. didn't see any bad AR but i did see some flickering just a bit.. but hell its all FREE.. so i'm happy!

There's a bad motion blur within the first five seconds, when the camera pans from the trees to the boat it goes blurry in and out. Also, the aspect ratio is bad. 5

Not much to say about this. Seems direct, as in no hollow sound. 8

Movie
Haven't seen this yet, not that it's high on my list of films to see, but I'll eventually see it.

Video: AR fine, background stuff might have some blur but if it was VideoCD's fault it would affect everything on the screen, not that i see it anyways. Nice vid, 8.

Audio: Assume its the regular DTS decoded discs, sounds like it anyways. 9.

Movie: Not watched.

Very good... typical VideoCD quality. Slight motion blurs every once in a while.

Audio:
DTS Audio... pretty good if I do say so myself. Just burnt a copy now and plays good on standalone players.

Movie:
Ehhh... the critics really bashed the shit out of this movie. Its one of those adventure/horror flicks that are entertaining. Nothing great, nothing bad either.

As for the bit i watched, a tad bit of motion blurness , nothing major, colors were great. I cant comment on AR to much as i wasnt going to the theater to watch this movie and skipped both POT/FTF's cam of it. From what i can see this looks pretty damn good. Sound perfect per usual.

For those who nuked for bad A/R , motion blurness, Im just sitting here laughing at you guys. Do you seriously think there will be a repack or proper?? ... and dont say maVen might who the hell do you think maVen is ;/ . VideoCD wasn't even in the running against CTP/TCR until near the end of those groups' reign. A year ago VideoCD released crappy quality (and crappy movies) TS's like Gigli

Only the beginning of this year have they started to kick arse and then as history repeats itself another group will take reign (a la maVen, hehe). Decent qual, sucks 'bout CD2 and audio is good but not as good as it has been in the past. 7/7/6

Yeah it's completelly black on second cd, sound in the background, shame too because i had intended to watch this movie this evening.. oh well probablly saved me from almost certain disapointment.

First sign of problem is that ...upon watching random CD2 files .r00 and .r47 in VLC....audio yes, video none;
Upon watching a couple random rars from CD1 too; vcd-anats01.r30 and r00 ....same problem, audio is there, but no video at all. Definite sign of probs.
After d/l and extracting...cd1's .bin plays fine , decent quality vid and audio, in sync.
After d/l and extracting cd2's .bin audio is normal, video is non existant.

At first i thought it might be a compression issue, but gl scripts say anacondas: [VCD] - Compression Method: m0., which is none(which is standard). So its some oversight in the encoding.

Nuked now

Anaconda.2.SVCD.TELESYNC-VideoCD cd2.contains.no.video..cd1..is.fine

a CD2 repack will unnuke

I do have endless hours of amusement with people who deny that something is nuked and then give it reviews just because they leeched the sample. Clearly the likes of firefighter, rune and stAr like to watch half movie with picture/audio in one half and just audio in the second.

I personally prefer to wait for the repack and watch the whole movie, and not spout a whole loada crap about it not being nuked.

almost a good rls. to bad it was nuked for no video on cd2. anyway just seen the sample of this one , and hi hope they repack this one. video is nice no real issues on cd1. audio is nice and crisp and deffinatly dts. still haven't watched the movie but i dont think it will be any good

Cool, have your fun? CD2 had no video halfway through for me. And this release was nuked kinda late if you asked me. I didnt spout a whole load of crap. At the time I posted it wasnt nuked. Not all of us wait for the movie to be out awhile than download it. Theres nothing wrong with the audio at all. And I didnt leech the sampe... I downloaded the whole move long ago.

Wow, you must be cool waiting for someone to post on releases that are nuked. In fact... you've done this countless times whenever people have leeched a movie, and found nothing wrong with it at first, than it gets nuked... and you have your laugh. I think you should go back to school and learn that vcdquality is for posting quality of the current releases... not flame bashing, targeting members.

I have cd1 for now. and if a repack comes then I'm happy if not. just wait for a better release. telecines seems to show up within 2 weeks of release. they tried they screwed up. But they try and to the quality standards they have given us time and time again. they deserve the respect to mess up sometimes. we all make mistakes in life no need to kick us when we down.

I just burned cd 2 and there IS video but the video only covers 1/4 of the screen when played on my standalone. I also get 1/4 black screen and 1/2 of the screen has the "Philips" logo that flickers.

Ok here goes,

This release whether or not you like it doesnt have video on the second cd. So for the most of you that got offended that it was called nuked could not have possibly even watched the movie or you would have posted that. So why would you insist\flame that it wasnt nuked when you didnt even watch the movie? thats just annoying.

And to ALL release groups yes we love the fact that you guys risk your freedom and use your time to satisfy millions of us PC geeks, but hey in my country "America" we are allowed to give low scores to even great release groups like videocd if they release a movie with no video for half the movie. So you dont have to defend videocd or any other quality release group, theyre great reputation speaks for themselves and I at least, understand that sometimes shit happens.
