First DVD?

As Im sitting here watching my nice Matrix DVD, I was wondering what was your first ever DVD, and what was the first ever DVD you have watched. (Most likely the same)

My first ever DVD watched is The Matrix.

First ever owned for the family is Urband Legends, my first ever was X-Men.

The first ones I ever watched were The Matrix and Blade; the two free titles I got to pick out when I bought my Apex back in 2000.

My first ever DVD I bought was The Crow. First ever DVD I watched some Van Damme movie called Legionairre or something..totally sucked ass but I listened to the clerk at the videostore..never do that again

well first watched was the sixth sense last watched matrix

first 0wned by me was Gone in 60 seconds

first of around 8 bought for me by somone else was hollow man last was minority report

first bought by me was gone in 60 seconds last bought by me is ither 8 mile or AI

my family doesnt buy movies so they dont have a collection they have some vhs

im gonna add some more stuff


best bass in a movie .......minority report - matrix
best dvd overall ........ lord of the rings EE
best use of the rear speakers ....... pearl harbor or matrix

oldest dvd original theatrical date i own national velvet (bought for me)
newest theatrical date i own 8 mile

the first full retail dvd's i bought was u571 closely followed by three kings vertical limit and get carter (original 1971 version)

First DVD: The Matrix

Straight afterwards left my friends house, went out, bought a dvd player and a copy of The Matrix

I was given Meet the Parents and There's Something about Mary combined for my birthday. Circuit City had some kind of dvd player sale (I have a JVC) and they also had those two movies on sale, and since they're both great comedies and both star Ben Stiller, friends decided to pack them together. There's Something about Mary was the one I glanced at first though, if you want specifics.

my first dvd was givin to me for christmas.. it was Rush Hour 2.. and then i got a gift certificate for 25$ at a dvd store so I bought one.. and those are currently the only 2 dvds I have.. lol

The Matrix was my first owned dvd, my first watched dvd as well. I bought The Matrix 2 weeks before i owned a dvd player, My first dvd player was my dvd rom for my sony vaio, That PC is laid to rest where it should be, The junkyard.

I don't own a DVD player. First I ever watched was probably the Matrix. First I ever owned was the Babylon 5 Season 1 box set. I own that and the B5 S2 box set. Guess what my next purchase will be.

first DVD i bought was the Godfather trilogy, there was just no movie other then that one that poped into mind when i bought the DVD player

So it was one of them to be 100% but i am 90% sure it was blade or 6th sense.

The perfect storm for both what can i say it was a gift not my fault. Didnt like the ending they could of made atleast one of them survive oh well what else would you expect out of a true story. Thats why my next hundred DVD's were fiction ha ha ha

I have since gone to buy over 100+ DVD's...then when you want to add in all the SVCD's I have, it grows to be quite a bit more than 100 =)

First DVD ever owned : same.

I bought a dvd player (Toshiba) from sears because it was cheap enough and then went to wal-mart and picked up the Independence Day widescreen dvd without having ever seen one.

One time, my cousin Walter got this cat stuck in his ass. True story. He bought it at our local mall so the whole fiasco wound up on the news, it was embarrassing for my relatives and all, but the next week he did it again, different cat, same results, complete with another trip to the emergency room!
