Having grabbed the sample I must say this is a big improvement to the sWs release, slight buzz in the sample and a little flicker about half-way through the sample.

Hey guys I just burned the sample of this release to a cd for the hell of it. The Quality of the Pic and Sound are awsome. Pic looks like a screener or even a dvd screener to me and Sound DTS quality! Pretty awsome release! I think Centropy has come compition on their hands now lol! GO NOX GO! HEH

it's dar cuz the movie is dark? c'mon they are standing in the bright sun, lol. don't believe eversthing they tell you in nfos. sound is ok, but pic way too dark.

Audio is pretty damn good, picture is slightly grainy but more than watchable. This is definetly worth getting. The sample does look good and the explosion was crsip. I cant comment on the movie because i havn't seen it yet.

good movie and quality is very worth watching. The proper must be for TS and not SVCD. Whats the big deal if it's SVCD or VCD? They might a little better sound with the SVCD so that is why they do it. Usually don't download non telecine/DVD source but been waiting for this movie a while. 7/7/?

Video is pretty clear ( slight pixilation in motion and a tad bit dark )

Audio has a slight buzz but overall seems to be direct and good to go.

Movie rocked so grab this if you wanna see it.

well the picture has nice colors, ill say that, the sharpness is there too, but then again theres that grain, i notice it alittle on my projector but nor really so it doesn't bother me just like ctp's angle doesnt...7.5 vid, the sound is perfectly fine, i think this IS the FIRST LEGIBLE release from nox..8...and movie ill dl it and watch it, idk the plot seems too ehh idk the plot just seems dumb but ill check it out for the acrion..

Nice rel NOX, this is near CTP quality if not already there.
Pic: 8, tad bit grainy nothing that isn't in any other TS.
Audio: 9, near perfect.
Movie: ?

Very nice release. Nox always had the video down now it seems they have the audio. Less of a buzz on this then I have seen on most recent ctp releases but for some reason the score is much lower (most ctp audio gets 8.4 or higher) really shows how voting is baised to some groups.

Good release keep it up.

Out of Sync all over the place. video is nice, sound is fine, but as I said, its out of sync in different places. Very noticable.

yes nox a watchable release from you guys (2f2f was ok). sound issues usually the culprit, but here it is basically perfect. funny watching the samples of sws and nox, you really see how shitty sws's IS. great job here, video is a little funky but audio great. will be getting this one i think.

Vid, 8 - pic is very angled, the titles go from the bottom left to the top right its that bad.....
cropping is a bit high also, you cant read any of the subs and the beging of the movie, but you can deal with it after that part

What's this Nox has movie with better audio than video? Get out! Is is good but I've seen better from Nox. It's too dark and the color seems a bit off but the picture is pretty sharp.

7/9.5 (another group I may have given an 8 for audio but this is Nox they deserve some extra credit!)

Video is grainy as others have stated. Audio is good minus the few times its out of sync as others have stated. Movie is dark as nfo stated. Movie was good in my eyes as i am not familiar with the comic. Not a great release. Not a bad release. SVCD maybe was not necessary.

I hope that I've got a dupe version of the NOX release, since in the one I got, (from a.b.vcd.hs) the screen is badly angled..AND cropped out. It's damn obvious from the opening credit and ruining my feeling for the entire release, even though I probably won't notice it in the later part (I haven't finished watching it).

Sound is good.

The colors on this release are excellent, however the angle is extremely noticable when the titles come up. It is definately watchable and good quality over all. The audio is very good, and as for the movie i haven't watched anythign but the first cd, but i will let you all know.

This release the audio is off a bit. Almost a full second behind the video near the end of the first cd. Nothing worse than seeing lips move when they are out of synch with the video.

I love to see when a movie first gets released it gets a really hight rating. I think this one was up to 7.8 on video and now it's down to 6.9 is it? lol

Just another reason why everyone should reconsider before releasing EVERYTHING as a SVCD.

No complaints here, good copy, good movie, although it deviates quite a bit from Alan Moore's comics in some areas. Quartermain is hooked on opium in the comics, and it often causes problems as far as the safety of the rest of the team. In fact, all of the members of the League in the comic books have problems that tend to come to the forefront and cause problems for everyone, and the only one that was even hinted at in the movie was Jekyll's, which had to be included. Still, I enjoyed the movie, the special effects were well done, the story reminded me of the old 5 cent matinee cliffhangers from the 40s and 50s, as did many of the sets. I thought the Nautilus was well done, and all of the actors worked well for their characters. Alot of people won't like it because it tends to be more quaint and old fashioned than movies like T3 and even Pirates, but I enjoyed it.

As far as this copy, nice crisp picture for the most part. It was dark, but it's obvious from watching the movie that quite a few scenes are dark. The sound was great, nothing to complain about there at all. I'll likely watch it again with my wife and see what she thinks of it.

VIDEO: Looks like it's been filmed in the Jokers hideout from the 60's Batman TV series with that crazy angle on it and the res is grainy as hell - WTF made NOX think that this was good enough for SVCD?

AUDIO: Not too bad - Synch is fecked up and the action scenes are WAY louder than the dialogue scenes - actually had to turn the TV *up* to hear them speak and down when the guns and explosions going off and THEN physically displace myself from space/time so it ran in harmony with the video. BAH! What am I? I frikkin TimeLord?

FILM: I stopped 20 minutes into it - what I saw is GREAT and I am *not* ruining it with this release.

Well I watched the whole movie now and the audio is out of synch like others with is too bad because it really sounds good after I increased the volume in TMPGenc. It's out of sync at a few parts is it pretty bad but that's a few too many. Also I noticed someone walking in the audience and I don't want to see that in an SVCD TS labeled proper. I'll watch this for now but hope My Grandmother or someone comes out with a better one.

Movie is cool. 8 for the movie.

I dl the nox release because of the multitude of positive posts here. All I can say is, you have got to be kidding. The video is grainy, and worst of all, the subtitles are CROPPED leaving only the first few top letters around, so you don't know what the hell is being said. The angle is awful here too. Unreal how you could release something like this.

I am not ungrateful to these groups that are releasing first run movies, it's just that if you're going to do this for the community, do it right!

Yeah there's an angle (camera tilt, I don't know why everyone calls it an angle), but I've never been one to notice unless it's during the beginning or ending credits.

Picture is a bit grainy, mostly only noticable on the dark scenes. No biggie, considering the movie.

Twice, once during the end of CD1 and once during the beginning of CD2 you can see a lady's head going across the very bottom of the screen. No biggie.

Overall video was perfect, aside from the minor flaws. - - 7 - -

-Audio-

Perfect audio aside from a minute of it slighly being out of sync at the end of cd1. Wasn't out of sync too much and the rest of the movie, aside from this minute, was perfect. - - 7 - -

-Movie-

Overall the movie was OK. I mean I did watch the whole thing, however, here is what I didn't like...

**SPOILERS**

1. Dr. Jeckel/Mr. Hyde looks like close cousin to Hulk. They needed to keep the CGI away from this character. Since when does Mr. Hyde look like an over-grown ape?
2. There was not enough character history. A few flashbacks might have been helpful.
3. The traiter to the group was one of the coolest characters and I was hoping it would instead be the Invisible guy, or the new guy that would turn bad.
4. The Ending . . . this movie does not need a "Jason Resurrected" sequel. I hope there is not a sequel release, because the only way it could be better would be to mimic X-Men 2 by adding more characters.

Overall - - 7- -

Picture is grainy and is of low quality, there is an angle and you can't read the german subtitles.

Sound is good though.

Not that I´m that good at ripping and encoding but, this is not good....
Bad sync between video and audio. About half of the first (half) of the movie, that´s where it begins and sometimes it gets worse.

But the quality of the sound och the pic is ok...
It have already been said but I say it again, it´s dark picture!
Do dark to watch with the overall quality of the video.

You have to sit and guess sometimes what happends on the screen.

I burned the movie as a SVCD bytheway, and it turn out ok...

Pic was a little dark and the borders cut out a lot of the subtitles in the begining. angle but i didnt mind it. Sound was ice and clear.
movive was pretty good. the director or filmatographer or whoever is in charge of the way the scenes look should be shot.
what the fuck was with all those fast takes.
