Not the best by far, there is motion blurs all over the place, the colors seemed faded, and it seems they bumped the brightness a touch during encoding, and the audio is just fine.

I am surpise that VideoCD release this film, because they get "French" supplys and I would of thought that this film wouldn't make it overseas because of the sport American Football, especially High School.

its definitely a decent film. Still not as good as Any Given Sunday or the Program in my opinion. Anyways, i'm just thankful to have another SVCD TS. Talk about a dry spell. HEHE. The pic is NOT the best but easily watchable a tad dark and yes during heavy action scenes there is some blockiness and motion blur. Hey its football The sound is pretty decent. I didn't notice any interference. Its a good football film, its just i've seen better. Mega props to VideoCD on the release Welcome back we've missed ya!!

After watching the movie:


Video - 8 (motion blur, slight angle but very good)

Audio - 9 (Little low but great)

Movie - 9 (Simply Awesome!)

Great movie ending is not what I expected.
Nice release!

After watching the movie;

Bit cropped and on a slight angle but arent all cams .. you cant notice it untill the end subs come up which are french which sucks , now i wont know what happened ! Bit washed colors. Overall good sound but last 15 minutes goes bigtime out of sync for 5 minutes then fixes itself. On that note

6 for sound cause of sync issue , and all the people who voted 9 and said perfect sound if they actually watched the movie, they would have noticed it out of sync also as it was bigtime noticeable out of sync (coach is talking to players but you hear someone get hit on the field which happens seconds later)

I *Just* about went to the theater to watch this movie , and im glad i didnt now , this movie sucks, the plot is predictable like every other football movie and crap.

video was good aside from being off center. but i didnt notice till the very end. as usual audio is good but desyched a lil bit at the end. maybe just me.

This was alright little flick. VideoCD gave us a surprise with 3 pretty darn good release one after another. As far as this one goes, the Video is pretty nice. The colors look good, they may be a little washed out, but not too bad at all. Now the Audio is a different story. I dont know if it is just me but mine was a little bit out of sync. Mainly it was at the end during the game with Carter. It started about 30 mins from the end of the film and pretty much went the whole way through. I did notice though that VideoCD must of noticed it as well, because about 5 mins before the very end they fixed it and all was well. Now for the movie itself, I thought the action was Excellent. I love football and football movies though so I may be a little biased on my opinion. The HITS were Awesome also. It really threw me for a loop though when they.........Dont want to SPOIL it for anyone so Ill stop here on that thought. Anyways, its GREAT to see ya back in the TS game again VideoCD!! Keep up the Hard Work and I look forward to more great releases from ya. Thanks Again VideoCD You Guys ROCK!

i noticed the out of sync audio issue on CD2 as well, it's about 25-something mins in and lasts for maybe 10 minutes.

The movie is on an angle which is quite obvious when text is shown onscreen. No biggie really, the text being in French was a bigger issue since at the end of the movie they talk about what happened to the players after that final game - i don't know about you guys, but i wanted to know what happened.

Not bad. Just went through the whole movie and would rate the video an 8, and the audio a 9. Good job guys, heard this movie is good.

Didn't seem too dark on the night scenes audio was out of sync i the last 20-30 mins of movie but was fixed at the end over-all a good release.

I wish people would actually watch the full release before rating it. The audio is very noticeably out-of-synch starting at about 25-30 minutes into CD2... and it never goes in-synch for the rest of the CD. At 8 minutes and change in, some dude walks in front of the camera (full body... not just a bouncing head on the bottom).

V: 6 -- Motion blur all over the place. I couldn't even tell what was happening in the action sequences.

A: 5 -- End of the movie was ridiculous. Climax of the movie, and all I could think about was the fact that it was about .5 seconds out of synch.

M: 6 -- I had high expectations going in, so that kind of did it in for me. I was watching it with a friend, and the way they developed the characters left nothing in the storyline to the imagination. We were calling out the destiny of each player well before it was revealed.

movie- 7 quite predictable although ending was not.. good flick

nice movie good pic good sound good flick 9/9/9

video - 7 (motion blur, grainy)
audio - 10 (it's dts, what more do you want, if it's too low turn up that little known setting called "volume")
movie - 7 (ten times better than the other two videocd releases today)


Anyone else think they've abandoned their mission statement:

"Our sole reason for existence is to enlighten the ignorant of movies actually worth watching."

Raise Your Voice and Taxi being prime examples of this. I don't have the stomach for the positive message of a Hilary Duff movie, but I saw Taxi and, jesus, if Queen Latifah's "acting" in that movie doesn't make you want to end your life nothing will. If only all of her stereotypical black woman "sass" was toxic, then everyone on the set would have died long before that piece of trash could be finished.

Video was subpar for VideoCD, but they normally do near-DVD-rip stuff, so no biggie. Audio was fine. Movie was fairly cliche`, but extra points for doing the cliche` well. No out-of-sync problems over here, so might be a burn or player problem.

Cd 2 has sync problems..... about approx 35mins through cd2 it starts..... i dont know if it comes back into sync, just watching it now....

I get out of sync from approx 40 on CD2. It's all during the football scenes so the talk is 5 sec's takes, through helmets etc, but it's definately out. I'm surprised that this hasn't been nuked because of this.

Pic and Sound just fine! No synch probs at all..Movie above average.. Definately a recommended flick.. Didnt realize Billy Bob was the coach till half way thru. Only negative part was the ending credits are all in a foreign language--I could not read what happened to the players...Nice job videoCD..keep it up!

CAN ANYBODY TELL ME WHAT HAPPEND TO THE KIDS IN THE END. I DONT KNOW FRENCH SO I COULDNT UNDERSTAND IT. MAYBE ILL GO TO THE THEATRES AND WATCH IT.
